I'm unable to reposition an image within the work space area (drag from title frame and re-position) unless I refresh the work space.
Without a refresh, the image is locked in place.
This is in the CS3 Windows environment and has been confirmed on two separate systems. Anyone have a solution other than refreshing/selecting a different work space?
I was working with Elements 7 and have switched to the new Elements 11.
I used to be able to minimize my images and have them on my workspace side-by-side. I liked the convenience of dragging and dropping as well as seeing things right beside each other.
I just downloaded 2013 Autocad for MAC and I can't manage to see my drawing toolbars and also don't know where to find workspace settings to change my workspace to autocad classic.
I am trying to go from the 3D Modeling workspace to the 2D workspace without the XYZ coordinate gizmo on the drawing screen (just want to see the XY ucs) to work in 2D format.
is there a way to have the profile be on 2d drafting already as yoju open a new file or should you always open a new file and then change the profile from architecture to 2d drafting?
I am using the trial version of CS5 (probably going to upgrade at the end of the trial), and I've only found one thing about it that I don't like more than CS3. This is VERY VERY annoying, and I'm not sure if it's a glitch, or just a preference that needs to be reset:
When using the move tool, I will move something and it will just snap back to where it originally was. When it snaps back, it might move a few pixels over in the direction I was dragging, but it is definitely not moving to where I want it to go. The only way to get things to move the way I want to is by Free Transform...but it's annoying, when you're trying to design a layout, to have to free transform every element you want to move, first.
I'm guessing that this is a glitch because sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't...it's pretty random. I've tried turning Snap on and off, and nothing changes.
So a friend created a model using zbrush and exported several different *.OBJ files. I imported those to maya and added shaders. They all fit correctly together when imported.
some of those obj files required me to do a mesh->combine. so now it appears that not every item has the same reference point so that when I move or scale the entire item, some of the objects move seperately. I think it is only the ones I had to combine.
I tried freeze transformations, but when doing that, some of the objects lost their scale settings and still didnt move together as one unit.
What happened to the option/enter command in the move object dialog that has been around since the early days of Illustrator??? Instead of having to mouse click the "copy" button in the move object window, one could just hold down option with Return or Enter and the Copy command would happen rather than a simple move. Immensely useful for prepress work!
If I have a dynamic block of a window. I can move either side of the block but the basepoint doesn't move. Is there a way to move the basepoint as well so its not off in space? or just delete it and have it now shown?
I am working on a visual presentation that I will print out as a booklet and each page is saved as a .psd. Is there a way to configure the psd file so that when I open that one file (call it the master file) all the images open up together. I'd like to know if this might be possible so I can avoid having to open each image/page individually.
how to change the background color to black from the color gray once you load the program and have not loaded any files to work with. I really like a black background to do editing with.
In the example below, I would like to select the three dimensions 14'-1 3/8's, 2', 28' and be able to move them all up or down at the same time...how do I do that?
I cannot see the bottom of my workspace. I have tried different views and different workspace configurations.when I open an image it is halfway cut off at bottom of screen and I cannot scoll it up with track pad or mouse.
When I open photoshop, the workspace won't appear. It's layers show up on the layer menu, but the image and workspace are no where to be found. Entering full screen mode freezes. If i open photoshop and delete my settings, it fixes everything, but i am getting tired of setting all my settings back up every time i do this.
When I'm working in photoshop CS2 there is allways one big issue bothering me: all the menu's that are in the way (Tools menu, Layers menu, navigator, history). Does anybody know a shortcut to hide those menus all at the same time, and a shortcut to make them reappear?
Another thing that could solve my problem is to be able to zoom in outside of the picture (into the gray area), now I'm restricted to stay zoomed into the picture (so the most left pixel will also be the most left pixel in your photoshop screen, if anybody knows how to change that..
Any documents opened in Photoshop have a yellow tint to them. Even new blank documents have a sick yellow overtone.
All other Adobe products including bridge display documents correctly, and all menus/panels in PS are shown correctly. The color problem is strictly within documents in Photoshop.
I've attempted to change all the color settings (RGB modes, Conversion Options, etc.) in several documents with no change. I've also closed Photoshop, located my .ICC and .ICM files in "program files/common files/adobe/color/", renamed the "Profiles" and "MPProfiles" directories and restarted Photoshop. Did not change.
I'm using ACER and LG monitors, which both seem to display everything else properly but both are showing the yellow tint on the PS docs, although the ACER (being a brighter monitor) shows more yellow than the LG does.
Is there any way to make my saved workspace come up automatically (instead of the default workspace) when Photoshop opens? I always forget to change to my workspace until
you know how by default for mac photoshop there is no background workspace, it just shows the desktop with the pallettes on the side and windows by default has a gray background...is there a way to get rid of the gray background completely?
I have now installed CS4 to my laptop. Is there an easy way to copy my Photoshop and Bridge workspaces and preferences from my desktop?Desktop is XP, laptop is Vista..
