I would like to make a color selection and then make a mask of that color. How on earth do I do that?
View 5 Replies View RelatedTo create a special effect (but not TOO garish!) I'd like to change this brownish meadow so that it looks much more like one of the swatches from my color swatches panel.
Do I need to create a new adjustment layer, or are there other approaches? Below is a screen shot.
How does one make a document one color and type in text of a different color?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI still use Corel Draw 12 and my question is is there an easy or automatic way to make the outline color of an object the same color as the fill color? I do it the hard way of trial and error until I get the right outline color from the color dock/pallette.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI definately don't need anything made for me at this stage, but I need ideas for how to make a two-color CD. This is going to go on the cover of a yearbook, in which we are only allowed two colors. The background color, and then another color, which will probably be a shiny (it actually is lustrous) silver. I'm not really sure how to go about this to make it look realistic. I tried with some vector.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to make the color select tool not only select a specific color but related shades as well. I have a graphic that is mainly shades of gray but with black outlines and divisions as well as other colors mixed in. I want to shift all the shades of gray to shades of dark yellow without have to select each shade individually.
View 1 Replies View RelatedId like to know if its possible to make own hue/saturaiton colour. What I mean by this is we get an option for red, yellow, greens etc etc.
But lets say we have an image over clusted with brown, and we would like to have that option to reduce the browness in an image. so Is there a way
we can make our custom colour? Like the example below this guys face has a brownish colour to it, and with the colour picker I get a #b56b3e which seems related to the brown colour family.so Id like to make that #b56b3e into a colour of my Hue / Saturation. so I have the option in the drop down menu.
I need to make a color wheel, like the attached, but with 24 segments.
How do I make the indivudal segments? If I could just get the first one figured out, I reckon I can copy it and use free transform to rotate it 15 degrees, fill it with the new color, repeat, repeat, repeat. But I don't know how to make the shape.
I need to do a job which consist of a high-quality print of 14cm high x 1100cm long os the color pectrum. the color spectrum order would be: black -> purple -> dark blue -> light blue -> dark green -> light green -> yellow -> orange -> red -> and again dark purple.
Like a big long gradient line from the spectrum as we see in the colour pallete.
I do't have a lcue how to do this, can someone help me in a detail tutorial?
Ps.: I have Photoshop CS3
Is there any way to mix two colors and make new color in photoshop?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to make a photo like a water color. The formula I am using has me
Apply filter->Dry Brush
Create New Layer
Add Layer mask
Then Edit->Fill->Use Pattern->Custom Pattern
However, under 'Custom Pattern' it says select 'Gouche Light on Watercolor' but this is not an option. How do I get 'Gouche Light on Watercolor' to show up?
After invoking the color range command, I movedmy eye dropper over the image, (in this case, the large cloud) and clicked. Nothing is selected...nothing appears in the preview window. Alone, the eyedropper tool works well.
I tried color range with different images with the same result. Using the same images with the exact settings, I then tested them using color range in CS5.2 . It worked properly.
I'm using CS6 13.0.4 x64 on an iMAC OS 10.8.2.
I'm a bit confused about how to do transparent colors (with GIFs) with P 6.0. If I want a specific color to be transparent, how do I specify that?
Does IE support transparent PNGs?
Ok, I have attached a sample picture of what I'm talking about. How do I make a picture like that? Mostly black & white but with some super color accents? how do you get such fine detail like the tatoo being in color also?

Will upgrading PhotoShop provide smoother color management tools? Other than that I have no problems with my configuration?
I have experienced when rendering video from Photoshop that the color looks especially bad in Quicktime Player compared to what it looked in PS. I read that there is a color shift issue when Rendering Video from Photoshop due to the lack of color management in some video players. I know this is more a player issue than a Photoshop issue, but I want to be able to make my video look best across all players.
Is there any kind of general rule for an adjustment I can make?
I can't seem to find much information on Google about this particular shift with regards to PS' Render Video.
I just started working with Photoshop, so I might be making some stupid rookie mistake...but I can't figure out what the hell could be wrong.
When I draw something on a dark background it just vanishes as soon as I fill the area with the paint bucket!
If I have a dark grey background, and draw something in black using the brush, when I try to fill the drawing, for instance green, with the paint bucket, the entire picture becomes green!
It was as if the drawing was never there.
At first I thought I had some wierd setting on my brush, but the wierd thing is that this only happens when I use dark colors.
Doing the exact same thing with yellow and red, works perfectly fine.
i want to make a picture i have black and white but i want my necklace(Breast Cancer Ribbon) to still be color.

I try to paint over the blue with the color replacement tool, having set my brush to match the top wall, but when it overpaints the blue, I'm getting a much darker gray that doesn't match.

View 10 Replies View RelatedCS6. I have this logo, red circle w/white letters and superscript 2. It's going to be printed on light gray fabric. I assume that I need to make transparent canvas and transparent letters (lu) so that it takes the gray color of the fabric and not the white background and letters of my file but when I rasterize type, save and open it again I cannot edit.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWith a RGB or CYMK no problem for me to have certain element in the picture distinguishing from the rest. But now I have to do the same building up in duotone (2 PMS colours). It looks like Photoshop doesn't allow to put a black&white layer into a duotone document (it automatically turns into the 2 duotone colours).
So how can i make a duotone image (source = FC) in which a part looks "black and white" (1 colour=black) and a part "lights up" in the second colour (2 colour= yellow)?
- so I know how to make a duotone image, that's not the problem
- i know how to work with layers and masks

How can i edit picture to make it black color the background while the person or object in the middle still have a true colors.
