Photoshop :: Possible To Start CS6 Extended As Standard Edition
Apr 22, 2013Having problem with performance using PS CS 6 Extended. The wheel is spinning for almost every action in PS on my Mac book Pro.
Using: 15-Inch MacBook Pro Retina2,7 GHz Quadro Intel Core i716 GB 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM768 GB SSDMac OS X 10.8.3Before I joined the Creative Cloud I used the standard PSCS 6. No problem at all.
When I installed the Extended version, everything slows down. This is only a problem with PS. Can I start PS as standard edition?

Aug 21, 2008I bought the PS CS3 Extended Student Edition and I have registered on the Adobe website to get my serial number which all went fine, but when I put the Disc in the drive, it does not appear on My Computer,Desk Top for me to open and upload photoshop to my computer! I have put the disc into another hard drive and attached it to my monitor but still nothing comes up! I have tried it on a completely different computer and it appears then, just not on mine! My computer seems to be working fine as I am able to upload other discs to it!

Mar 26, 2013I just recently (yesterday) became a member of the creative cloud. Now I am aware that my subscription (full individual subscription) allows me to use Photoshop CS6 Extended.
I previously had Photoshop CS6 Standard installed (my suspicion why it's not working properly) removed it and downloaded Photoshop via Application Manager, but it's still not the Extended version.
Also is there a way to keep the downloads because I'm constantly using photoshop at work (one of my main tools) and having to uninstalling and re downloading (which seems to take forever) is not the best solution.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

And, if I don't have it.. The download manager does nothing say about the Extended version (trial of it), and at the Adobe website I can't find a way to download it.

Feb 20, 2013I can't figure out how to adjust the size of the program screen when in Full Edit Mode. I can see portions of the Quick Fix menu and none of the Guided Fix menu. There seems to be no way to resize the window.

Aug 30, 2012Currently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
So, what are my options?
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.

Dec 6, 2008I'm trying to play a video that I created from my Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ5 digital camera. When I try to play this file, it only operates in fast forward.
This file that I am playing was copied from a CD. (I made the video with my camera, copied it onto my computer, then burned this video onto a CD.) So it seems like I lost some information by copying from my camera onto my computer. Is there something I can do to fix this so I can play at a normal speed?

Jul 23, 2007I tried to install the trial version of cs3 from the adobe website, but after I installed the setup part and started downloading the actual program, it said it downloaded 1 shared component but it couldn't download the actual CS3 program.

May 27, 2008My question is, whether Photo Deluxe can be run only with admin privileges or as standard user, too.
A customer of ours uses this program and cannot start it without admin privileges. If logged in as standard user the pd4.exe just doesn't react in any way. No failure, nothing. Executing right is set, so it should work.

Mar 7, 2013I sell limited edition prints of a run of between 350 and 500.
I am trying to get it set up so that my signature and the print number is included as part of the print. Here is an example:
You'll see at bottom left there is my signature and underneath is is the print number e.g. 110/350 (this is legible when printed at 18x12" size).
Inserting the signature and the "/350" is easy since it only needs to be done once per image.
The difficulty comes with inserting the actual print number e.g. "110"
At the moment I have 0 to 9 written out and scanned in as separate numbers. So to make "110" I use the "1" digit twice, plus the "0" digit. I.e. I haven't written out 1 to 500 and scanned them in all as separate numbers, I've just done the 10 digits and use those 10 digits to make all the different numbers I need.
Is there a way to create an action that will create say 350 JPEG copies of the original file, each one with its own unique print number inserted? (And ideally automatically saved with the print number as its file name!)

Mar 6, 2014I'm currently working on a design in 3ds Max 2013 Student Edition. When I first found out about 3d modelling, the creativity peaked my interest greatly and since Mesh became available in Second Life and Inworldz, I have since been self teaching myself from Max tutorials.
2 years ago approximately, I downloaded the 3ds Max 2013 from the Autodesk site and upon installing it, the program crashed at 96% faithfully everytime. When I asked how to resolve this, I was told to download the trial version and put the code to authenticate the software, it then went from 30 day trial to student edition.
I have since been using 3ds Max 2013 updating the FBX converter to work with Second Life and Inworldz making low poly designs.
Now my current design has 3587 polys and 6,239 vertices, when I move close to my design and select edge, then insert vertex, 3ds Max says it encountered an error and gives me the option to save my scene or cancel to close Max. 100% of the time, if I say save scene, my scene is automatically corrupt and I have to go to a previous save.
No I am not entitled to install the PU's (Patch Updates) since its a student edition and I don't have the money to purchase 3ds Max 2013.
