How to enable Matlab support in Photoshop CC? I've downloaded zip-file with dylib and m-scripts, however it does not work.
By the way, app.featureEnabled("MATLAB") return false in standalone jsx-script, so I believe it's a Photoshop confiruration issue (I found some suggestion _for previous_ versions, that it can be caused by non-exteneded Photoshop version).
I am trying to import XY data into Matlab from an Autocad 10 DXF export ASCII file. This data is from a flat drawing (no Z dimension.) When I import the lines, polyline, and hatches, some of the data has a different coordinates system than the others, and possibly a different scaling.
Are there some DXF attributes I should check to find the appropriate reference points and scaling for each entity type, or does this need to be discovered in the native Autocad 10 DWG file?”
I would like to export a solid assembly (or derived part of the assembly) as a Spatial Array for use in Matlab. Only a simplistic solid definition is needed such that each element of the array is either 1 or 0.
How I can achieve this and ideally how I can choose the resolution of the array?
I have the following problem, I would like to select in Photoshop, edit, color setting ProPho RGB as working space but for some reason it is not there, meaning I cannot select it.
My computer currently have an AMD Radeon 6850 with catalyst 12.8 drivers. When I look at the OpenCL option it was greyed out. I know my card has OpebCL 1.1 support but at the same time, I don't know if OpenCL drivers were downloaded. I have just purcahsed the Adobe suite today.
I have a pretty old computer with windows xp. and i use photoshop cs4 on it. but last night i installed photoshop again to do some things with it. but when i wanted to rotate something i got a error. about openGl. when i go to edit - preferences - performance. i cant enable openGl because of the following reason: Graphics hardware acceleration is unavailable. i need to update my driver and possible my video card. but the problem is when i go to the site of Intel and check of my drivers are fine it says i have te newest drivers for my pc.
I have just installed Photoshop CS4 Extended and am looking to enable the OpenGL Drawing function but it is greyed out. I have Dell Precision t5400 with Quad core Xeon E5410, 2gb RAM, Club 3D 8800GTS 640mb RAM graphics card on XP Service pack 2. I just updated the graphics drivers from nVidia and downloaded the AllowOldGPUS_ON.reg and restarted the PC. The option to Enable OpenGL Drawing is still greyed out.
I have macbook pro retina 15. And i update my photoshop to 13.1 But when i open document in 100% zoom all so little and in 200% all so blurry. How i can enable retina mode in new photoshop or i want to draw all layouts x2?
I m trying to render a time lapse video on PS CS5 and the process works well up until the export window. When i go there the first option under file options, quick time export, is unavailable( grayed out).
The only available option is Image sequence. What do i have to do to enable the quick time movie creation or any other movie format for that matter? I am using photoshop cs5. my operating system is windows7.
I can't enable OpenGL drawing.I'm using Windows 8 64bit.I've updated my video card drivers multiple times.I've reinstalled Photoshop.I've restarted my computer.I know for a fact that my card (ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870) can use OpenGL because I have used it on this exact laptop before.
How do I enable OpenGL drawing? The box is grey and unclickable and it says I need to update my video drivers.

I have a Radeon HD 5670 card (640sp version) and I'm unable to activate the "OpenCL" option in Advanced Graphics Processor settings. My GPU driver version is Catalyst 13.3 beta 3 for windows 7. The problem occurs in Catalyst 13.2, too. GPU-z report: [URL}...OpenCL works with Neat Image Plugin: [URL]...
Photoshop's System Info tool's report:
Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.0.1 (13.0.1 20120808.r.519 2012/08/08:21:00:00) x32 Operating System: Windows 7 32-bit Version: 6.1 Service Pack 1 System architecture: Intel CPU Family:6, Model:15, Stepping:13 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3
I just installed Photoshop CS4 around a week ago and as many have already said it feels pretty sluggish compared to the CS2 that I upgraded from.
I get the message "photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements..." which essentially disables OpenGL and I am sure probably has some adverse effects.
I have a modern up to date computer so I don't see what the issue is. Whenever I try to enable it when I restart it tells me to either search for updated drivers or gives me the error. I hate thinking I paid all this money for something I am not getting optimal use out of.
Specs: Windows XP SP3 Directx 9.0c 4GB Ram Quad 9450 CPU Nvidia 8800GT 512MB video card (which is on their supported list) Most up to date video drivers you can get 178.24
I installed a new graphics card, (82865G graphics controller)512 mb... How do I enable openGL drawing on my CS4 Photoshop? My preferences does not acknowledge new card and I have the newest driver.
After buying Photoshop CS6 Extended due to it's amazing 3D options I realized my videocard sucked because it is a CSU and not a GPU as required. So I looked up what the requirements are to enable the GPU options and it stated that it requires a OpenGL 2.0 and Shader Model 3.0.
I have been searching for a videocard that matches exactly that without any result (I live in a country the size of a peanut that doesn't sell a 2.0 and a 3.0).But I did find shader models of 5.0 and OpenGL 4.1 and I wanted to know if that is acceptable too.
Are the OpenGL 2.0 and Shader Model 3.0 the minimum requirements and can I go higher?Or will Photoshop Extended not enable that GPU option if I do go above the requested OpenGL 2.0 and Shader Model 3.0???
I'm trying to do a 3D tutorial I found on youtube. Photoshop is not behaving the same way as what I'm seeing however. I think the problem relates to the OpenGL rendering of the shadows. See te example pics below.
This is the scene lit with 1 point light but not yet rendered. The shadows on the point light are turned off.
This is the same scene if I turn the shadows on:
Finally, this is what I get if I render it:
how to display the shadows correctly on the pre-rendered OpenGL version so I can place my light sources.
I'm using a W7 machine with a Core i5, an AMD 6870 card, and 16 gigs of ram. The video drivers were updated today.
Also, if I look at the same file on my work computer (with an Nvidia Quadro M card inside) it works fine - the pre-rendered view (with shadows) looks great. Is there some Photoshop preference or graphics adapter setting I need to be using?
In CS6, I tried this option with the lightest UI color (and with other UI colors), but I could not see the effect of this option on the texts of panels on the UI.
I still can not see the effect of it in CC,Am I looking at the wrong place ... it is controlling the drop shadows of the panel titles, isn't it?
Currently using Photoshop CS6 Extended on Windows XP. When I go to enable UGP in Preferences the message I get is "photoshop detected an error in your display driver. Update or reinstall the driver and check UGP to retry". Have reinstalled Photoshop but the problem is still there. Photoshop Extended is compatiable with Windows XP so why can't I enable the display driver?
I have been using the oil paint filter for about a year. But, I tried to use it today and got the following error:This feature requires graphics processor acceleration. Please check the Performance Preferences and verify that "Use Graphics Processor" is enabled.
I went to Photoshop Preferences to enable the Graphics Processor but the option is grayed out and won't let me check the box to enable.
And this is my system info: Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.0 (13.0 20120315.r.428 2012/03/15:21:00:00) x64 Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit Version: 6.1
installed Photoshop CS4 and can't enable OpenGL. So I updated my Nvidia 7600GT driver and the driver info says, that OpenGL 3.0 should work, but Photoshop dosn't allow me to enable it.
