how to create that kind of rainbow shape around text?
How to create a cool rainbow nebula text effect that you can play with. This is a fairly easy effect to achieve.
The result will look something like this:
1. Create a New project and set your dimensions. In this case, I am going to use 500 x 200. This part is up to you.
2. I think this effect goes best with a dark color(black) so use the fill tool to turn your background black(or your color pick if it is different).
3. Next, add your text using the text tool. I believe the font Century Gothic goes well with this. However, I am going to use my logo with this. Make sure whatever you do, if you use your logo or not, that your subject is white.
4. Right-click on the text/logo layer in the layer panel and select Alpha to Selection. Then create a New Layer and go the Filters→Render→Clouds→Plasma and click OK. Put this layer on the below the text one if it is not already.
5. Now Gaussian Blur the text layer by 5 pixels and set the Layer Mode to Overlay.
6. (This step is optional. I am going to do it though because it gives a good result in my opinion.) Duplicate the Plasma Layer and Gaussian Blur it by 5 pixels. Then you can play around with the opacity with the Layer Mode on Screen, I set mine to 50%. Then duplicate the text layer and lower the opacity which I did to 50%. This gives the text more shine.
The result will look something like this:
exported transparent png fiiles get this rainbow of color distorted bleed when previewing or importing into programs that cannot read the png's transparency!!! even program that can read the png's transparency after you check a 'make transparent' checkbox (such as Memorex Expressit label design studio) have this distorted color bleed!! like in the label program checking 'make transparent' leaves the rainbow color distortion in!!!
this seems to be ONLY happening with Gimp exported PNGs!!! other PNGs and other programs that can generate transparent PNGs don't have this issue!
I want to create a blur effect that starts from one edge of a photo and gets stronger (more blurred) as it goes away from that point. This specific effect only needs to travel in one direction, so it doesn't need to be circular.
I don't want to use the method of creating a second copy of the photo on a separate layer, blurring it, and using a gradient on a layer mask, because this doesn't achieve the effect I'm looking for, since you can still see some of the non-blurred image under the blurred one.
I want to create a specific blur trace file for my camera for using it in my capture sharpening job.
Or a web site link explaining how to create such a file?
I have some random curves (already created) and I want to blur them just from one side to have the same blur distance and effect one the whole curve.
To more precisely describe what I need, I need to create gradient with direction of normal for every "point". The best example I have found so far are borders in Civilization IV game. Here are two examples:
3.bp.blogspot.com/-40x9Kw5vrrA/TiHjTNwOuQI/AAAAAAAAADA/uw2NeAnsmOk/s1600/Civ4ScreenShot0008.JPG
apolyton.net/civ4/files/info-images/agade.png
As you can see, there is a solid curve, which gradually blends (i.e. alpha channel is lowered) till the gradient disappears. I have the solid curve and the question is, what would be the simplest way how to do this (the number of curves is around 100) gradient.
I just got PSE CS6 and the blur too will NOT work ....blur filters work, but not BLUR in the tools panel I have tried: unintstall/reinstall, updating, using it no a picture straight after opening it, duplicate layers, selecting an area and then blurring....flattening an image, every single different setting in the the blur tools menu bar NOTHING works. And everything I find about blur is the new blur filters....
View 1 Replies View Relatedi have outlined this pic and used the Gaussian blur , but how would i soften the edges of the blur so it doesnt look so "sharp"? I want it to kinda blend in so to say here is the pic.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just downloaded paint.net and I'm making a icon for my youtube channel. I'm usually good when it comes to photoshop (i had it for years, it recently was uninstalled by mistake and I couldn't be bothered re-downloading it) but I cant seem to find out how to do something.
I'm trying to colour the blur behind the text (the layer under layer 5) but I've tried making a new layer, colouring green over it and using overlay, that failed. I've check multiple tutorials, but nothing is working.
is the only way in action? i create a animation for 2 clip transition in the timeline but i need a motion blur
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhy not allow paint.net to have the feature of blending pictures in order to create motion blur as it is was in 3d space.

make a path? stroke it? fill layer?
I just made a new image with my name written all over it. What I'm trying to do, is color the text RAINBOW colored, and so it looks blended together.
Is there a way to do that with the paintbrush tool? And then just go over the text, letting the paintbrush do the work?
i am trying to make a set of shirts with different icons. they are currently black but i need them to be rainbow striped. for example, i have a jpg of a map made of up of black lines that i've pasted into my Ps document. i want the lines to be rainbow striped instead of black. the site won't let me post a link to an example.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a macbook pro with Photoshop CS6 installed. Recently Photoshop has been freezing frequently. Especially if I try to use too big of a brush. The cursor will change to the rainbow loading symbol, and I can't click on anything else on the computer. After it is finished loading a few minutes later, everything else on the computer is slowed down. What can I do to make the program run faster, and stop it from freezing? Is it the program or the computer? Does the computer need more speed to be able to run the program?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the latest Macbook Air 13" (intel i5 1.8 mhz with 4gb DDR3). I downloaded a trail version of PS CS6 from the creative cloud. It worked fine but suddenly it began act wierd. Every 10 seconds the software stucks for 3 seconds (Rainbow wheel). My computer is brand new and nothing else is installed. I upadted the latest PS patch and download the latest OSX updates but it is still happening.
Update: This is happening mostly when I'm using the text editing tool... (I'm using hebrew fonts as well),
I have many images files. For each picture, I need a color field of the main color, so the one that is most commonly seen.
This color should be saved as a new image as background. How can I do it in Photoshop, so this is done automatically.
I've seen multiple photos of rainbows in text and stuff.
An example, I want something like it was done in the back of this text. And simply how to make a rainbow. I've searched for plugins, none fit my needs.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just received the disc with all my wedding photos and so many of them are ruined by either a rainbow glare or a blue glare. I am so disappointed in how the pictures came out and have spent the last half of today trying everything to fix them.
Is it possible to fix a rainbow or blue glare.
Here are a few (if html works) but I have about 15 like these.
1. Rainbow, I need something that makes every thing on one layer rainbow colors.
2. Shiny, I need something that makes every thing on one layer 'shiny' looking.
I'm having issues with threaded text. I've created my desired paths for threaded text, essentially a rainbow, that aligns with my package design. When I create threaded text it behaves wierdly. The following occurs:
1) creating threaded text with my rainbow paths, it creates the paths upside down. I've figured out how to rememdy this with the path options, but wish it didn't default to upside down.
2) My path layers for each row are in decending order, i.e. - would like text to cascade top to bottom; however, when I start typing, it uses the bottom line first causing my paragraph to read from bottom to top. This is incredibly frustrating!
When I create a shape with a Pantone Color and then decrease the opacity in the color swatch palette, then go to my swatches palette and select "Select All Unused Colors" it highlights the pantone color being used in the file. In previous version, it never did this. This is for CS6. Any know fix for this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working on making a really awesome pic but I'm stuck. The style I use in all of my pics is by making a new layer, changing it to color mode, then making rainbow colors with a really soft brush. Everything was going fine until I threw some text in there. Now when I paint, the text stays the same color!
