how to get my animation to play when my website is first opened...much as this website does with it's really cool "PT" plasma logo...I've gotten VERY inspired by the animation example on this forum and want to animate something of my own, need to know how to get it to play in Dreamweaver though..

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been working on an animation for a week or two and all of the sudden the file no longer plays the animation. The keyframes are there and I can scrub through them, but when I hit play it just hangs on the frame it's already on, it says it's playing (The icon changes to stop and in the corner it says "Hit ESC to stop playing", but nothing moves. I can bring it into older versions of Maya and it plays, but the only other version of Maya I have is 2008 and it doesn't like the transfer from 2011 to 2008.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI imported 100 images (each one on a different layer) in Photoshop CS5.1 to make some image correction. Those images are an animation sequence.
Now, I try to figure out how to play the animation? When I click PLAY, it doesn't move from a layer to another which would make it animate. It stays on the first layer.
I have 5 layers with white artwork and a black filled layer but make animation sees also the black background end up flashing on and off. Can one have a frame to stay under the animation and stay on at all times ?
Obviously if this was in Flash it would sit on a lower layer and exist for the entire duration of the animation, but I am hoping to avoid keep having to take artwork as png into p shop , create movie clip, etc etc then back to Photoshop to adjust artwork.
3ds Max 2011, chapter Adding sound...I did exactly the same as this document presents but when pressed Play Animation button, there is no sound. It's stunning because in ProSound dialog, I can play the audio file without problems.

So far all of the tutorials I've seen regarding Cineware walk through how to bring a 3D object into AE. But, I haven't seen anything yet on bring a 3D animation into AE.
I have a simple Cinema 4D 3D animation created with C4D R14. I successfully brought it into AE CC via Cineware.However, it is not clear how to make it play in AE. It plays well in C4D. But, I can't get it to play in AE.
I've tried deleting all preferences. I was working with the camera originally then suddenly the keyframes wouldn't appear as red lines (there was only 1 camera) and appeared blank, i deleted these 'blank' keyframes and ever since I've been unable to play the entire camera sequence, the timeline simply sits at 0. I've tried a new camera with it's own keyframing but to no avail, it refuses to play.
edit: I just tried in a new scene also, same problem. It's making it near impossible to preview animations in real-time.
i am using 3ds max design 2011 for making architectural walk through s,i usually render the frame at 740*576 size(300 dpi)and save as tiff sequence.then i will make avi file in after effects(with out any compression). After that when i play the whole movie,the movie will not go smoothly its getting jerks.what the wrong i am doing.i tried with 15 frames per sec and 30 frames per sec.

I want to add a button that the user can click to pause/play this animation if they want extra time to read the content on screen. I'm not sure how to tell a button to pause at the current frame and resume when clicked by the user. The button will also need to change states from a pause image to a play image when clicked and vice-versa.

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I import a short AVCHD or MPG (~ 1 min., 100 mb) into Premiere Pro CS6 or After Effects CS6, it plays great. When I import the same file into Photoshop CS6 on the same computer, it's jerky, even with sound off, frame skipping enabled, cached, and no other applications running.
System is a Core i7 with 8 gb RAM, 1.5 gb nVidia GeForce, Win 7 x64 and DirectX 11. All drivers ruthlessly updated.
I have been finding that when i have a process running that requires some time to complete in LR 4.3 (e.g creating timelapses, or exporting large sets of images, or creating many 1:1 previews), that if my mac goes to sleep these processes stop. When I wake my Mac again these processes start up again though.
After a little reading I seem to have found that the latest mountain lion upgrade has removed a macs ability to check hard drive activity before going totaly to sleep. So previously the screen will be sleeping but processes can run in the background. If what I have read is accurate this is also true for downloads and other processes. Furthermore they go on to say that applications now have to create "power assertions" to keep processes running.
I assume Lightroom does not yet have these? Are they looking into it?
I have a Pegasus R4 and an IMac 16G RAM.
Playback is not in real time with 10 bits uncompressed 4k scan.
I chose the option "Play From Memory" and surprise I can play only 40 frames.
QUESTION : where can I change the quantity of RAM to read more images ?

What I would like to know, is: How can I animate rotation of a layer? I want to rotate my layer at an angle and animate it. But when I rotate, the first animation frame is also rotated, resulting in NO animation between the frames.

When I make a CD and try to play in on my DVD player to view on TV, I have a problem. My DVD play requires the exif format. I have been told that Photoshop drops the exif tag and thus I cannot view my images on my TV.
Is there a way to keep all the exif information and still use Photoshop?

It gets a bit tedious when having to resave 100 or so files. Does anyone know why this happens, or has a quick solution how to resave them.

I can bring up yesterday's work and continue to work on the action run, however, when I closed that out and went to another project, I was unable to run any action loaded. I deleted the actions and re-entered turning off the computer after each action loaded. Still would not work. I finally uninstalled 11 and then re-installed it. Still no luck. Are ACTIONS suppose to be a preset folder? I don't have a preset Actions folder in my program files...not even after I re-installed.
