I want to double matte a photo on a page with a background. The inner matte will be a 10 pixel black and I want the outer to be a half-inch patterned matte. I have scanned in the pattern from a piece of scrapbooking paper. How do I do the two mattes? I want the the mattes and picture to be moveable and sizeable.
I am trying to add a colored frame to a batch of pictures....I can't figure out how to do it with a color other than black...I have a specific color I would like to use all the time..
I am using photoshop cs and also have cs 3 and illustrator cs 4? and am unable to figure out where to find these frames that I see all over the place. I'm not sure if I have to download them somewhere or if there is a menu I'm missing in the program. I've added a link to show an example of the frame below.
I am trying to add photo frames around some portrait photos I have. With Elements 10 and 11 I could do this, but I cannot seem to find a way to do this in CS6. Whether this can be done in Cs6 and how to do it.
i have about 600 frames in timeline in photoshop cs6  i want to make Create Frame Animatiom  but photoshop not allow to save more 500 frames  what can i do?
So every time I go to the frames to layers option under import, I get this message: Â Could not complete the Video Frames to Layers command because Photoshop does not support video on this version of Mac OS. I'm not sure what to do because my Mac OS is up to date, and when I had a trial for CS 6, I was able to do frames to layers.
1) How do I make a border with a transparent middle section. So I can use that border for a flash project (picture album etc). I know how to make a border over a picture, I just need to know how to make a border that I can use over any image of my choosing.
2) How do I make a text only image that is transparent. Lets say I make the word "Home" with a Bevel, how do I keep the word only without the white background? I keep getting the full canvas size (e.g 100X100) with the word Home in the middle (including all the effects I add to the word) on a white background, even when I have set my options to transparent background.
I have photoshop 7 and elements 2 and in 7 i can't access my frames to frame my photo's. In elements it has effects that show the frames that i can use, but in 7 it doesn't have that. I can't load the new set of frames into elements because in the preset manager it has not custom shapes option. In 7 it has the custom shapes option so I have my new frames added there but i can't access them.
i created 3 frames of a pic, but when i edit like the 2nd frame all 3 frames change. how can i get it so i can make each frame individual. and, is there a way to change a lens flare color?
I have several animated GIF files. I can only get the first frame to show up in Photoshop. Is there a way I can import "all the frames" from within an existing animation??
i want to create a circular frame around a square picture, cutting off the corners in the process in order to almost fill the circle. i tried to do this with a layer mask by drawing a black circle and using a transparent brush, however i found it quite difficult to acheive this accurately. is there a more accurate method i could use to do this?
I am having troubles with ImageReady its almost making me cry! For real...I can't add any frames...I am only getting ONE frame and I keep adding new layers but nothing...I am trying to make a .GIF file of course...Also I can't get it to save as a .GIF...It ALWAYS and ONLY saves as .PSD
I’m designing a website for my wife, who is an artist. I’m finding that using the wood frame in the action panel (PS 7) enhances the images of her paintings, but I would be interested in a source for additional frame styles (maybe not the thousands in the artists’ catalogs…but more than one). Are any ps-ready frames available out there?
recommendation for photo galleries that are nicer than the built-in one in PS?
I'm using the trial of Photoshop CS6. When I try to import frames to layers, the popup-window shows just as it should, but the preview is just a blank box. It's like there is no video there. Once I tried to continue even without it, but all I got was layers filled with the color black as frames.
I'm working on some practice animations, but the issue I've been having is that I don't know how I can work on my inbetweening on a video layer with onion-skinning enabled. I know I could just switch to frame-by-frame animation, but I wanted to have onion-skinning enabled still so that I can make my inbetween animations more acurate.
Working panels always used to lock into place inside frames in prior versions of Photoshop, but are free-floating in CS6; is there a way to anchor them as in prior versions?
Earlier today I tried making a gif and while importing the layers I wasn't able to click play to preview the section I wanted to import because this popup appeared:
And I while I ignored it the first couple times I think it also affected the video frames since the the last ones seemed the same frame repeating over and over.
I have looked at multiple tutorials saying that to create an animated gif in Photoshop CS6, you just open the Timeline palette and select "Create Frames from Layers" from the dropdown. I don't see this option, not even grayed out. What is the problem?
Been combing over the interent to try to figure out how to (in CS6 PS) get multiple gif to load onto the same static image that have different amount of frames, thus far I have my two gifs (on opposite sides) on the image and a short title video in the center but it starts with all three images and then runs the two gif until the the first (8 frames) runs out then the remainder of the second runs out at 13 frames and lastly the rest of the video plays each frame.  My goal is to get the video to just play naturally in the center and each gif on the sides to play on a loop as I want the entire image to be a banner for a website.  Win7 64 bit CS6 photoshop  Gif1 = 8 frames/layers Gif2 = 13 frames/layers video = 96 frames/layers (also it is set at a very low resolution and is just a title with a second title transitioning in)
I have video that I want to change the color of a PART of a video. A person in the video is moving and I want to edit ONLY that person ( not the surroundings ) . How do I mask a moving object and only edit that selection?
Adobe says, that you can select a group of frames, edit 1 frame from the group, and it will apply that for the rest of them. In order to do this, it says have one frame selected, the Shift-click another one. I had a frame selected, and then I shift-clicked another. Nothing is highlighting.
On CS5 and CS6, I've easily been able to make gifs, but now in my CS4 extended, there is no option under IMport to do video frames to layers. I also can not open ay gifs or get the animation toolbar.
i took a online lesson on making simple picture frame and have used this many times But id like to know is there a Photoshop Plugin that gives Frames / borders please?
I am trying to put a border, or color around a Font, or Picture. It has to be able to detect the edges of the picture or Font. I remember that I was able to change the color and width of the border very easily and quick.
I use Photo Shop and Corel Draw. Does any one know how to do this on Both Programs???
If anyone could get back to me asap, that would be awesome. Are there any other good forums out there, or is this the best one?
I have seen some neet Picture borders and I do mine with the Canvas sizing but some I have seen are done different. Can anyone give me some other methods of framing or drawing borders around pictures.
