i created 3 frames of a pic, but when i edit like the 2nd frame all 3 frames change. how can i get it so i can make each frame individual. and, is there a way to change a lens flare color?

using PS ImageReady 7.0...
I am having troubles with ImageReady its almost making me cry! For real...I can't add any frames...I am only getting ONE frame and I keep adding new layers but nothing...I am trying to make a .GIF file of course...Also I can't get it to save as a .GIF...It ALWAYS and ONLY saves as .PSD
I am trying to move my sig layers which are just a jpg into the correct position, I also have a gif image which is not visible as it is hidden behind the layers. When I move some layers it does not move it on all the other frames (the frames are there cos of the gif file so they each are seperate).
Does anyone know how I what options or what tool do i select to move the layers in all the keyframes to the position i want?
I'll try and get a screen capture if u dont understand
how I changed the background on an animated gif, from white to transparent, on all frames, at one time. I did do that using ImageReady, didn't I? I must be having a major senior moment.....

I am working on an image in photoshop and I want to jump to IR to add some rollover buttons. When I jump to IR and preview my work in IE or firefox, or view in the optimized view, it moves my images. It looks the way it should in normal view, but in the show optimized view things are moved. Why does it move the images? It seems in PS7 IR and PS worked more harmoniously. What has changed?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was working on an image, and I wanted rollovers. I finished those up and went to save it [Save Optimized As...] and realized it was saving the images as .gif files. That's no good; it's a large image that looks terrible in .gif format.
I have been trying for quite some time now to get it to save as a 100% Quality, 0 Blur .jpg, I know I've done it before, and now it isn't working. As far as I can get is 60% [High; I want Maximum].
i have a pretty noob question, how do u make button rollovers for a website through photoshop/imageready? once my layouts are sliced, how is it possible to make rollovers? do i have to use dreamweaver? (i.e.- navigation text underlined when mouse is over it..) something basic as to that.

When I try to import/open an avi file in ImageReady, the import/open window comes up but then another window pops up telling me that quicktime does not have the plugins required to import the file and the plugins are not available on the quicktime server, when i proceed to import/open the image turns blank. I tried updating my quicktime, I updated image ready.
I have been looking but can't seem to find a good tutorial on how I can create a website using Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Anyone know of any good ones? I see talk of using ImageReady...anyone know of a good tutorial on how to do this as well?

The problem is, when I adjust the size of the text (smaller) in the second frame to tween it later, the text size in the first frame gets smaller as well. I hope I make sense. well i just upgraded from photoshop 7 to CS2 and of course imageready too. so i was working with imageready cs2, trying to make a gif, when i realized that the movements werent smooth like they were in 7.
heres how a IR 7 gif looked when i made it:
see how its all smooth and the fading is continuous?
well heres something i made using CS2:
in the CS2 gif, the fading is like, frame-by-frame ish. how come it didnt do that when i used IR7? im using the same steps on CS2 as i did on 7.
I have these two clips I want to make animated .gifs out of but when I open ImageReady 7.0 it says, "Quicktime is missing software required to preform this operation. Unfortunatley, it is not available on the QuickTime server". It still lets me open the clips though, except all the frames are blank.

Halfway down the page I have three butons on the left
Click button one and the picture in the middle of the screen shows picture 1
Click button two and the picture in the middle of the screen shows picture 2
Click button three and the picture in the middle of the screen shows picture 3
The problem I'm having is that whenever you click on one of these buttons
the screen goes goes to the top.
I never use ImageReady embedded in my English version of Photoshop CS2, but
today I inadvertently ran it and noticed that its splash (About) screen,
tabs and options are in Greek, while tools bar, drop down menus are in
English. I wonder why, and if it can be remedied.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been playing with PhotoShop 7 and ImageReady to creat my rollovers. I just added the Rollover state to each of my slices and saved it Optimized as HTML and Images. I previewed it but to my horror found out that when I changed the Over State it also changed the normal state.
I went back into ImageReady to try and fix this but each time I change one the other also changes. I can highlight each but cannot change only one.
I want the normal state text to be red and the over state text to be blue.
how to change the frames per second of an animation. It currently defaults at 12 frames per second, but I want to adjust it higher so I can make higher quality animations.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm tryin to make adjustments to a sig and when I play the final animation, ImageReady didn't play each frame in a row, instead it played them ontop of each other. I couldn't figure it out so I just saved each frame individually (only 13 frames) thinking I could just put them into Windows Movie Maker real quick and be done with it. Nope. Windows movie maker won't allow a frame to be shorter than 1 second and I need each to be .1 second in length. So here I am back in ImageReady with all 13 frames and the animation box open, but I can't figure out how to put them in there.

I know how to do fading text, but not how to apply the tween to only one section of the image.
