When I've been recently using Photoshop it seems that a small selection of the filter tools are not selectable on the filter menu (things such as Brush Strokes, Artistic, Sketch and Texture) even when I exit Photoshop and put it back on it still does this. However, with older works all the filter tools work and show up. Also if I was to choose a random JPEG file from my computer and open it with photoshop the filter tools are usable then also; but even when I save my work as a JPEG and open it back into photoshop as the file the filter tools still do not show up.
Also as I realized when trying to take a screen-shot, the files that do not have the filter tools showing cannot be uploaded, they come up as an errored picture when uploaded onto image sites such as 'Photobucket' or 'Imageshack',
The freeze tool is not pictured on the left with the other tools. I can access freeze by pressing the "F" key, but there is no way to unfreeze since that tool is missing as well. Only seven tools are seen now.
using CS2 on Windows XP. sometimes when i apply a filter, when i exit the filter dialogue - either OK or cancel - when i return to the picture, none of the tools work. space won't bring up the hand etc, and clciking on the Layer pallette, picture, anything, doesn't fix it. i manage to get stuff back by pressing every key in sight and swearing venomously at the machine,
While working on a project of mine yesterday the panels that display eraser and pen tool etc. stopped showing text. I can still see the hidden tools, but can no longer see text. I am quite familiar with most tools, but not all so it is a pain when I need to try that oddball tool I don't use regularly.
I must have clicked something or inadvertantly pressed a keyboard shortcut or something because a couple of weeks ago, the sub-tools on the tool palette started popping up without me having to hold down the mouse button for a second. Now when I click a tool (the rectangular marqee tool for example), the hidden tools (eliptical marqee, single row etc.).
I use the GIMP all the time and I love it! I'm not a realexpert, but can do mostly what I like.
I'm using Gimp 2.6 on Ubuntu. I open the GIMP, and I'm going along just fine, then all of a sudden I can't get the dialog box for a tool I'm using and I can't view the layers tool box. If I close everything and open GIMP again, it will work for a while.
We are using 64bit Windows 7 & Inventor 2012. We got the drawing tools to show up correctly on one machine, but can't get them to show up as an add-in on a second machine. We've uninstalled & re-installed the tools. registarted the tools many times. Nothing seems to be working.Â
I'm creating a floor plan of a simple remodel to show cutting a new door into an existing wall. Â The plan has ALL the info on it; existing, demo, and new. Â I have applied the Show All phase filter. Â The door jamb lines of the new opening don't show up (see attachment). I can add detail lines to take care of the issue but then these have to be managed. Â I am not interested in creating seperate demo and new views for such a simple project.
i have cs5 suite. last week everything fine in photoshop. this week, only the tools that are showing are available to use. i can not access the tools when i click on the corner of individual tools. i am running version 10.6.8
I instal form SDK User Tools because I need in Inventor Drawing Tools (Revision cloud). I do this install like on website Autodesk show and I didn't get it on ribbon. I do also registry of this plugin but I also didn't get it.Â
I tried to use the lens flare filter in Photoshop CS6.While the lighting effect is interesting, it introduces ugly artifacts like blue or orange blobs (which are supposed to be the reflection of the diaphragm, but do not look anywhere close to that, but instead are just cheesy looking blobs of color). Â In the "movie prime" setting blue lines are added which have nothing to do with lens flar.On top of it, the preview is about the size of a stamp. Any way to use the filter without getting these artifacts, or is it - what I assume - just a useless toy filter, that has probably been dragged on for years and years because it's always been there? What do you use to create a lens flare effect? Are you just building it from scratch with brush work?
camera raw filter does not show up on the filter drop list on CC. I am trying to determine why this is the case. So far everything else seems to work.
There seems to be way too many tools in the tools panel for me. Many of them I will rarely, if ever use. Is there any way I can rearrange or remove some of them? It would unclutter the screen immensely.
I have an interactive board with tools (such as pen or eraser) which I want to integrate with the AI. The typical scenario woulld be as follows: the user lifts the pen from the tray, the pen event will me mapped into selecting Pencil Tool from AI toolbar after which the user can add freehand annotations to the AI document. Â Is there an API which would allow me to map abailable hardware tools with relevant AI tools? Is there an example which would demonstrate such integration?
I've deleted my PS preferences and restarted, and I cannot get this filter to do what is was just doing a day earlier. It doesn't matter what the foreground/background colors are, nor does it matter what the resolution of the file is. I've experimented with every variable. The filter effect changes the filled layer to a solid color of the current foreground color. No lines, dots or circles at all.  I'm trying to make lines in a filled layer, or a rasterized text layer.Adjusting the sliders has no effect at this point, but the other Gallery filters DO work, oddly enough.  I've used this filter effect many times over the years, and it just started acting wonky. This is PS CS6, on Mac OSX 10.8.5.It seems to be unpredictable or temperamental. Is there a reasonably-priced plugin that will create lines that are completely adjustable?
I have Photoshop CS4 running on a 8 gig Vista 64 bit system. When I click on Filters, there is no Extract Filter. I did a search prior to posting and saw some threads talking about not moving files, icons etc from their original folder. I am un sure if anything has been moved. However, when I click on Filters, they all seem to be there (at least not greyed out), EXCEPT for the Extract filter. Any help would be apprecited and if you let me know where the filters should reside I can make sure they are in the correct location.
How to get the 'Shape to Block' command to work (under express tools).
It says select object, but no matter what object I select eg. circle, pline or line, it says invalid selection. I am running AutoCAD 2012. Are 'shape' objects somehow different from any other objects?
I am able to use the menuload command to load the express menu, but when I try to execute one of the express tools. AutoCAD say invalid command, there was something on the website that said to type express tools at the command prompt, but when I do that, too it says invalid command.
There are also a few other express tools that when picked from the ribbon menu, do not work either. Now, I have seen elsewhere on the web that in this case, you should make sure there are no search paths set to R14 Bonus tools (which mine aren't), or repair and update express tools from add/remove programs in the control panel. I did this, and the only thing that happened was the numbers after SUBR@ changed.
My application works with function it acet-ss-drag-moves of Express Tools. Â Can I distribute AutoCAD Express Tools with the program of Installation of my application? Â
This to guarantee that Express Tools will be with the user's AutoCAD. Â If this is possible what document should I use?
I had express tools loaded, but now I have a problem. I try downloading Auto CAD True View, but did not get it to work, since then I have been getting unknown Command "txt2mtxt" now none of my commands work. I try auto cad repair from the install program and it still does not work.
I have Photoshop CS3 and I am unable to use the tools (brushes, lasso tool, gradient, etc...). I have tried restarting and the usual but whenever I select a tool CS3 seems to not do anything in response - the cursor remains as the white hand. Everything else seems to be working apart from the tool palette.
