View 2 Replies View RelatedMy computer was infected this week by the FBI scam trojan virus. Microsoft Windows tech had no choice but to return CPU to original factory settings. I reinstalled Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 and attempted to retrieve my images from Adobe online storage. Only 121 of my images reappeared, even though a status bar shows my online storage level at over 7GB. Now when I open PSE9, if I click on "Organize," the program either immediately closes or I get an error message that says "the requested operation could not be completed because the catalog is currently locked by another process."
I've tried restarting my computer and even shutting down my computer, but still no luck. I can't figure out "other process" could be locking out the catalog.

View 6 Replies View Related[URL] We have a client who are using Adobe Acrobat 9 and have .PDF's saved in a Share Folder. Is the creator of the document but is still faced with the read only prompt when trying to save the document after making an edit (e.g rotating). Upgrading to Adobe Acrobat 9 isn't an option.
Folder permissions in both Share and NTFS is okay. User's profile has full control of the folder it is being saved in. I've also ensured the reading pane is Windows Explorer is off when they're opening it.
Have run a repair on Adobe Acrobat 9 and tried with other documents with the same result.Saving locally does not have the same issue. using .PDF for Adobe Acrobat 9 in a Share Folder environment.
Server is SBS2008 and user's PC is Windows 7 Professional.
We have a computer that using AutoCAD Architecture 2013 and Acrobat 9 Standard. When printing a large sheet (30"x42") with images in it to a PDF the images do not appear in the newly created PDF. However, if the same file is printed to fit an 11x17 the images display correctly. Any thoughts as to why the large sheet size is not printing properly?

I am looking for a way to force all DWG files created with previous versions of AutoCAD to automatically open "Read Only". For example, using Civil 3D 2011, I open a file that is a 2007 format DWG. I want this file to automatically open read only, and inform the user that it has opened read only.
I'm hoping that this is possible, since opening a 2007 format DWG in a newer AutoCAD already tells you that it's an older format in the command line, and files can already be opened as read only.
Is there any way to save/open files in Adobe products using the general Windows format, i.e. where you could copy & paste a folder location into your address bar. I work on multiple projects across a complex network and I have to manually navigate through all the folders each time, and I can't copy & paste a location like I could if I was browsing through Windows normally. Also you can't save favorite locations?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm creating video clips in Corel Video Studio X4 Ultimate (Education),for use in creating multimedia PDFs with Adobe Acrobat X Pro.
The formats Adobe Acrobat says is accepts include MPEG 4 / H.264,so in Corel Video Studio X4 I've tried selecting the following types of output file:
1) "MPEG4: iPhone H.264 (640 x 480)" My preferred resolution, but Adobe Acrobat won't accept it, apparently because it's "Sony PSP" (according to an analysis by MediaInfo), not supported by Flash, according to an advisor on the Adobe forums.
2) "MPEG4: iPod H.264" (320 x 240) This is accepted by Adobe Acrobat, even though it's also Sony PSP (according to MediaInfo). But this isn't enough resolution for my purposes.
3) "MPEG4: iPhone 4/iPad HD" This is also accepted by Adobe Acrobat, but the resolution is too high (1280x720) as the files are too large.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have scanned something in OS X Mavericks (10.9.0) using my Canon PIXMA MP280 and am attempting to add it to my main Lightroom catalog (LR 5.2) but am having issues. I have tried the following formats with the noted results:
.TIFF - Lightroom throws error "The file appears to be unsupported or damaged. (1)" .JPG - Lightroom does not show the file in the import dialog, thus does not even attempt to import it. .PNG - Imports ok.
The .TIFF and .JPG formats seem compeltely intact as they open without any issues in OS X Preview and Pixelmator.
I am a Canon shooter and a seasoned Lightroom user. About a month ago my Mac stopped allowing me to import images from my CF card into Lightroom. I have worked with Mac and Adobe to no avail. At this point I know that my Mac can see the card and will me allow me to download images into iPhoto. It will generate thumbnails in Lightroom, but will tell me that it's unable to read the images when I try a complete import. If I switch users on my Mac to a dummy user, I am able to import the same images off my CF card. I didn't changed any settings, at least not intentionally.
