Photoshop Elements :: How To Save Raw Histogram Data For Export
Jun 16, 2013How can I save my raw histogram data in order to export it to something like excel?
View 1 RepliesHow can I save my raw histogram data in order to export it to something like excel?
View 1 RepliesI am trying to collect the mean, median, and mode of the RGB color values for a lot of different images.. Instead of just exporting the histogram raw data, I would rather just export what you see in the 'statistics' window when you open the histogram window.
Also, if I just wanted to transcribe it myself, I am not even able to keep the histogram window open while typing the data in excel.. So I constantly have to click back and forth (or just get better memory)..
Other than using the PrtScrn procedure,
way to save/copy the histogram of an image?
I have a nice image that has lost the red channel histogram data for about half of the image. It can still be viewed, and the preview is correct.
Can I copy the histogram data from the red channel of the non-corrupt portion of the image? I know it's the red channel because when I open the color data from the corrupted portion the red channel is literally non-existant.
I am fairly new to Gimp, but love it. I am a marine biologist and I would like to use this program for my research. I do need to export the histogram values as I need to do some calculations (pixel count and value). Is there any way I can do this?
View 7 Replies View RelatedSince I capture my images in RAW, when I open them in Adobe Camera RAW (via Elements 11), what information is displayed in the image and the histogram I see?
Is it showing me the jpeg created in the camera? If so, the jpeg settings in my camera are not only important in viewing the LCD and the histogram in my camera at the time of capture. They would also be important in viewing my image when it first opens in Adobe Camera RAW.
I have a problem with CorelDraw X4, some tools like save, save as, copy, cut, export doesn't work.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhile "Draw" of Coreldraw X5 is working well, Corel Photopaint X5 does not "Save", "Save as..." or "Export" files. It just does nothing, when I choose to save a file under "something.cpt". It works, as long as it is a JPG, but not as a CPT. I am working on a Win7, with CorelX5 in german. Support told me to reinstall.

In other words, after saving and exiting, and then reopening the image, the measurement log is clear. I can save the measurement log as a text file, but when I reopen the image, the data isn't there and I cannot find a way to link it back to the image. Is there a way to save the data with the image?
I am using CS4 Extended on Windows 8.
I only recently upgraded to 2.8 from 2.6 and was wondering if I am the onlyone missing the option to edit the file extension in the SAVE formwhich basically allowed you to Save, Save Copy, Save As or Export to anyformat from the same form?
I also found it strange that if I now open a JPG file (or drag into GIMP),I can't save changes (to the JPG) directly (it wants to save to native Gimpformat), so I again first have to go to Export instead!
I am wondering why this was incorporated, and if it's going to stay, is there a setting I can set to work like I am used to (and find much fasterand more flexible)?
Why is it when I save as RAW files using Photoshop CS3 to JPEG, it removes the EXIF data?

In the interest of not using the actual captures (intelectual property restrictions), I have extracted the data alone to a new multi layered file with each address as its own layer. Some have 1 person, some have 200 people.
Can I export each layer to file in such a way that the canvas will not be the 75 inch canvas in the parent image? I needed to use such a large transparent background because population density is very high. Is ther an autodetect feature?
URL....I am using PSE 12 as a photo editor for Aperture 3.5.1 and the photo is duplicated (as a tiff) in Aperture and PSE editor opens with the image. When I close the file and say to save the file it brings up the save as window.
I tell PSE 12 to "on first save -- save over current file" it now brings up the "save as" window and won't save over the file (changes the file type from .tiff to .tif)
I have Photoshop CS6 and Elements Premiere 11 and both were showing estimated file sizes properly up until a couple of weeks ago, and both stopped at the same time. Using Image, Mode I have verified on both that the images I am trying to save are 8 bit and not 16 bit images. I am on Window 7, 64bit.

After parsing corel SVG paths, I've noticed some odd behavior. Here are a few things:
The position of a Corel graphic on a page prior to exportation affects the size of the graphic in the SVG file?
I get negative numbers (x y points) in the SVG file when corel numbers are all pos. The x,y values seem to be flipped to y,x values.
I have a large volume of our own clip art that I need to put on line via Microsoft's WPF (windows presentation foundation) all of which is saved in CDR files .
Just updated to LR4.1 Win and working on GPS features.
There is that cool GPS tracklog import, but I am really missing a GPS data export! I would like to have the opportunity to mark some pictures and export a track list from that information to file.
My windows 7 laptop needs formatting (total wipe) and I would like to save the lightroom data. Is this possible? Or do I just copy the latest backup and open it when all is newly installed?

I use Xara for design work and am also a professional SW developer who has been developing in WPF for 5 years. It would be so good if Xara could export data directly to XAML, rather than having to go via an intermediate format. Searching in the forum reveals that this has come up several times and there have been a few hints that it might be about to be supported, but then nothing.

I have been asked to write a module that will export layer data from AutoCAD and put it in an Excel spreadsheet. The user wants to have this done through a macro. I am assuming that I need to create a dll that is called from inside AutoCAD but I am not sure.
They want to start with AutoCAD 2008 and once we get it working there we will convert it to 2011 or 2012.
First of all, I can not find the 2008 API and second of all I'm not sure where to start. I am very experienced at programming. We are going to use VB.NET.
Can I export the text from autocad 2012 LT to excel file.

Is there a plug-in or other software that can capture the key words and EXIF data and make it available thru MS Access or Excell?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just uploaded a picture to my Flickr photostream from within Lightroom 4 release version (Win 7 64 bit). I geotagged the picture in Lightroom's new Maps module and the image shows GPS co-ordinates in the Metadata panel in the Library module.
The photo on flickr has no GPS data and does not appear on the map in Flickr. I've downloaded the original version of the picture from Flickr and opened in the GeoSetter tool, which confirms that no GPS data is embedded in the JPEG file.
In Lightroom 4's "Publish Services" section Flickr does not have the "Remove Location Info" setting ticked under metadata.
EDIT: I've just tried to export a picture using the normal export button in the Library module. In this dialog box "Remove Location Info" was ticked. I unticked it and exported and can confirm that GPS data is successfully stored in this image. It just doesn't seem to get to Flickr using the built-in publishing service for some reason.
I shoot pictures in RAW (Pentax PEF format) which includes gps data. As the pictures are being imported the Lightroom prompts for reverse geo mapping and detects the data and locates it on the map from map module. However, when exported in JPG, the GPS is missing in the Exif. It was working in 4.1. Again, it did not work sometimes in 4.1.

we also create plans with office furniture.we have blocks with attributes to extract data like workstation numbers, department, roomnumbers etc.for the info from the spaces we use export property data to create an database file.for the export of the attributes we use dataextraction to crete an .xls file
Is there a way to combine the work so that we can export the attribute data with the export property data?Is there a way to link the blocks (who are within a closed pline) to the pline (space)? Can it be done with lisp or VBA?
