When using a Neat NM-1000 scanner and I acqire image from scanner the program loads the Neat software to scan the image and runs the photo through the scanner and then freezes the software and will not allow me to continue. Is there and update I need or some settings I should make somewhere in the software?

HOWEVER I can acquire them in PhotoPaintX5.
Is this a "glitch" or a built in inconvenience?
Can not get X6 to recognize my scanner under acquire. It is a Muzteck USB3 2400 Pro.

it is bug or need some more software to enable for CorelDRAW x6 because HP 5610 Scanner work with other software.
Why can I import images from my scanner in Adobe Elements 11 in the organizer but not in the photo editor? I have Windows 8 64 bit.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI find only limited image import options under Photoshop CS5 and CS6. Under CS3, I have a number of options which I have used frequently, regarding preview, zoom, descreening, filtering, stretch, noise removal, fading, grain, etc.
None of these seem to be available under either CS5 OR CS6. In fact, under CS5, under "FILE>IMPORT", I I don't even GET the Canoscan 8400F opton. This is pretty basic stuff, getting good quality off a scanner. Do I need to go back to CS3 for everything? It actually worked.
What is the prosedure to import img from scanner to photoshop elements? I'm used to PH CS, and there i have a choise to import scanner, but that is not present in PH elements?

Before installing CS6, I could quite happily scan photos etc via my scanner, from within Elements 8, but now when I go 'File > Get Photos and Videos > From Scanner' within Elements 8 (with Photoshop CS6 not open at the time, incidentally), I get a message saying 'Software for this device could not be launched. The device is not connected or is busy'. I would like to be able to scan from either Photoshop applications.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI've just upgraded from Elements 4 to 11 using Mac OS 10.6 Previously, when I wanted to import an image from my Canon 8600F Scanner I went to File,Import,Canoscan 8600 and the Twain driver window appeared. No problem.Now with 11 this doesn't happen. It doesn't happen with either Editor or Organizer. A search on these pages shows a similar problem with Elements 10. I've carried out this procedure but it doesn't work. Why not? What is the point of this programme if it won't import from a scanner or am I missing something?

As with many of my previous projects, all of which were much shorter, it is plagued by freezing. also the slides tend to corrupt. they may black out and even to black out only on playback with no indication that they're blacked out. finally, navigation is extremely slow.
I disabled anyone the analysis function, but this didn't work. I'm thinking about getting pse 12, but how do i know if this problem has been corrected.
I just purchased and installed Adobe Photoshop Element 11 & Adobe Premiere Element 11 from DVD. Installation was smooth but freezing computer on starting any of them. I forced shutdown my computer and tried more than 10 times and same issue.
