Oct 11, 2007I am starting a small screen printing business and need help with registration marks. I have adobe photoshop 6.0. Now I know you have to scoll down to print option and then from there you can check a box that says registration marks but they dont work, nothing appears. I have used them before about a year ago so I know how to get them on. They just wont work now...

I've attached an example image of where we place the registration marks and am also attaching the actual registration mark CDR file. I'm assuming this would probably be rather simple...
We'd like this registration mark to be centered to the image and placed on the top and bottom of the image at .25 inches away from the image itself. So, I would think the macro would have to select the entire image on the page, then decide where .25 inches is away from the top and bottom of the image and place the registration mark, centered in that area.
CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 :: Registration Marks On All Layers For Vinyl Cutting
Aug 3, 2011Using CD x4.I cut directly from Corel. I was trying to do a simple 2 color vinyl job. I put reg marks but they are only on one layer. I tried copying but they weren't in the same place as the other layer.
Is there a way to get the Reg Marks to appear on all layers properly ?
Photoshop :: Photoshop 6.0 - Weak Registration Marks
Nov 15, 2005I am using a plugin for Color Separation named FastFilms which produces separated (hidden/non-modifyable) color channels. When I print any channel (to an old 11x17 HP Laser 4V) using 300 DPI, the registration marks are nice and dark, but of course I lose pixel definition. When I change the print setting to 600 DPI, I get more pixels but the registration marks are much lighter and partially missing parts of all the circles.
I am using this for screenprinting and the light registrations do not expose enough to print. Eliminating the Plug-in as the problem, I created a totally new blank page and printed (same printer) in both 300 DPI and 600 DPI and (hard to understand), both prints have the lighter registration marks.
Unless I can somehow darken the registration maks (during print), it would also work if I could "unlock" the hidden Photoshop separated channels (for each color from the plugin) and copy/paste duplicate manual registration "+"s myself. Manually prepared graphics with manual registrations work fine on this printer. I am at a real impass on this. Any help, suggestions, or ideas?

Jul 25, 2012I've just started using Paint.Net, primarily for pixel work. I needed a program that had the curve line tool but with extra features than the ones provided in Microsoft Paint. But it seems that I've came to a problem, the lines are anti-aliased, even at 1 pixel big. I was wondering if there was a option to turn the aliasing off for the line/curve tool.

Jul 24, 2013I need to recreate this dial and I've learned how to create evenly spaced tick marks within a circle, but this is an ellipse. Here, I attempted to draw two ellipse then used the scissors to cut them to size. Then I used the line tool and drew each of the tick marks. Then I adjusted the weights of each tick. This is not a good method because the end ticks are not meeting the ends of the ellipse perfectly, leaving a tiny bit of tick mark outside the ellipse. Here is what I ended up with:

Mar 27, 2013I have an old black and white photo that when held at certain angles has what I will describe as iridescent marks that mainly show up on areas that are darker or have shadows. Perhaps something deteriorated in the chemical developing that was originally done. When I download it onto photoshops the markings show up. Has seen this in pictures and the best way to correct it.
