Photoshop Elements :: Viewing Edited Pictures Without Having To Open Each One Individually
May 12, 2013
Adobe Photo shop elements is not user friendly. It is in fact the most difficult programme I have ever used.
I finally managed to watermark my files they have been saved but when I want to view them on my laptop in the normal windows view the thumbnail just shows the photo shop elements logo and I have to double click each file separately and they open in the edit programme. I want to open them and flick through my edited pictures without having to enter adobe photo shop elements and without having to open each one individually.
I recently started having problems with jpeg photos edited on either Elements 10 or 11. I save to a USB port and then insert into frame for viewing but i get a ? error. However, when i open the photos on the USB i can see them fine.
I have five pictures on a page. They're so old I can't peel them off to scan them individually. If I scan the whole page can I capture each one individually.
I recently installed VideoStudio Pro X3. Whenever I play back anything I tried edit the program crashes and a dump file error shows. I have tried using the smart proxy without success. I am trying to edit HD files *.mov. The files are only a couple of minutes so that should not be an issue. I also tried closing all other programs. When I try and playback I can only see a couple of seconds before it crashes. I am wondering if my computer does not have the resources to edit HD. I have 1024 MB of Ram.
i done some photos in photoshop and now i cant open them why it says they are not a valid photoshop document or end of file was encountered i used elements 6.0 and elements 10
My Photostop Elements 11 Editor will not open pictues. I have tried to uninstall/install the product and this didn't work. I can get it to work once in awhile and then it stops working again.
I have a Mac with OSX8 and have previously been using PSE9 without any trouble. I've recently installed PSE12 but it cannot access the pictures in my iPhoto library for editing, even though I've changed the iPhoto settings to use PSE12 as the external editor. When I right click a picture in iPhoto and then click "edit in external editor", PSE12 opens but the worksurface is empty, and I can't figure out how to open the picture for editing. I have no problem editing photos that are on my desktop, so the problem seems to lie in communication between iPhoto and PSE12. I never had this problem with PSE9.
I was always able to send photos from Photoshop 11 via the photo mail and they would arrive fully opened which was great. Now, when I send a photo it arrives not opened and if one clicks on "open" to open it, a notice says it cannot be opened because it is a zip file or a temp. file.
is there any way to delete duplicate photos in batches rather than individually?
Also, I have not been able to register my product (I purchased it about a week ago. There is no serial number on the box or on the envelope the disc came in nor is it on the disc itself. I've tried contacting support but when I click on the link that tells me there is an agent available, nothing happens.
After importing pictures from my digital camera in RAW format using Lightroom 4 it places them in my Pictures file on tghe hard drive. When I go to my Pictures file and try to open the photos i get the message: Photo Gallery Can't Open The Images Or Video Because The Format Isn't Supported Or You Don't Have The Latest Upgrade To Photo Gallery. Pictures from a small point & shoot work fine. I get the same results when importing using the camera Mfg's software.
I am having issues when Uploading photos to my website, dropbox, email or online lab after editing in photoshop , First I edit in LR5 then export to PS with Lightroom default settings and my adjustments made to photos and then in do minor adjustments in Photoshop cs5 and then save in jpeg, well when I go to upload to my website or the others mentioned, the photos tuen green and desaturate and I am not sure why but need to fix this really bad, They do not turn green however when uploading to the blog...
Is there any way to automatically export only the pictures I've enhanced during the develop phase? I was resolved to Ctrl-Click on the ones at the bottom filmstrip that I could 'see' that I had edited (about 15 out of a hundred) and then export to a subdirectory. Maybe someway to filter that bottom filmstrip to only the pictures I've edited/enhanced?
When exporting my edited pictures to a folder in m Pictures it goes as a blank soft color but no photo. It looks like a tiny dot and when you open it, it is a soft color..
I have trial version of Elements 11; Also have full version, but have not installed yet, as I wanted to wait until I completed current project. I created/edited an album of wedding photos in the Organizer. I tried to upload album to Shutterfly to make an archival DVD and also make a photo book in Shutterfly. The photos uploaded individually to the Shutterfly print page to print individually, but the album will not upload to My Pictures, it shows the album name, but it is empty. How do I get the photos to upload?? Shutterfly was not sure how.
I downloaded a 90 page Owners Manual to PSE 9. How do I go from one page to the next without having to close PSE 9 and re-open it to view a different page?
Is it possible to have VS Pro 5 open with the last-edited vsp file when starting the program, by default? I couldn't find anything in the "Preferences" about that option.
I want to be able to look at all the thumbnails of images in a folder which in itself contains several sub-folders, rather than having to go into each subfolder to view the images. Elements 11.
how do display the filename UNDER each thumbnail in the Elements 12 Organizer and NOT just on the right side of the screen? I see the date and rating under each thumbnail, but not the filename.
I have been using Photoshop Elements since around 4. I just started using Elements 11 and have somehow made my organizer so large I can't see the whole photo on my screen. How can I get back to the usual look?
When I right click on a photo in LR3 and click on 'edit in Photoshop CS4', it opens the dialogue box that it has always opened: 'This version of Lightroom may require Camera Raw version 6.5 to be fully compatible,' or something to that effect. I have never needed to worry about that, and have always been able to just click on OK and it has worked anyway, however suddenly it doesn't.
So I checked (just in case the issue was my version of Camera Raw) and I am running Camera Raw version 5.70.213
So I tried to update it to 6.5. I downloaded it (and the Adobe installer manager which it seemed to want me to install), but when I try to install 6.5 I get a message: 'This is not required'.So one message tells me it is required, and another won't allow it to install and says it is not required.
I don't seem to be able to install the latest version of Camera Raw (doesn't bother me as I don't use it - I use LR, except if it is causing this problem), and I have the problem of being unable to edit any of my LR catalogue in CS4.
In trying to get to grips with the Color management aspects of PSE11, I have encountered the following problems: Having selected "Display" a sequence of clicks (Change display settings -> Advanced settings -> Colour Management -> Colour Management tab -> Colour Management) gives a screen which includes the headings:Device Profile and Viewing Conditions Profile.
1. Device Profile. Besides sRGB and ARGB, the profile list includes the profiles for all of the Epson papers.I changed the Profile to an Epson Grayscale, this was accepted within the menu, but there are no changes from normal when I viewed the image on the Windows screen or within PSE11. ("normal" is sRGB or ARGB). I thought it worth a try to test that, if I wanted the display image to closely represent what I would get on a particular Epson paper, this may be a way to do it.So what is the purpose of all of the paper Profiles appearing in the Display listing?
2. The Viewing Conditions Profile has also several options. I have tried to find the criteria for choosing one rather than the other, but failed to find any information. I seek general guidance rather than the details of the Profiles.
Selecting Image on the PSE11 menu across the top of the displayed image, and then Convert Colour Profile, I tried this process on an image, converting tiff to sRGB. When saved there was an extra asterisk in the saved title but in this case, the file was still labelled tiff and there was no change in the number of Mbs. If a conversion has taken place, how is one to know? Does saving a tiff file as jpeg change its colour profile? When is it useful to use this feature?
When I try to edit one of my photos in Adobe Photoelements, I am able to do so. I am also edited to hit the save as button. But when I try to load the saved photo it is the same as it was before the edit. Why
