View 5 RepliesSo every time I try to change my layer replace like this (200ms) (replace) in the name field, it makes no difference when i open the image up like in chrome or anything. I also change it when I export it to default value to use for all frames, and nothing comes out of it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Quicktime render of a project I made a few months ago that was originally created at 23.976 FPS.
I now need to prepare this Quicktime render for digital projection in a movie theater -- the file I need to give my client has to be 24 FPS progressive.
I'd like to try and convert my Quicktime and audio without going back to the project itself, as this is a complex project and would take a really long time to re-render at 24 FPS.
Best method to convert my 23.976 Quicktime movie? Are there specialty plug-ins I should look into?
I have some video in mpg format I'm trying to split into scenes, and then save off a separate videos. When I try to save one of the trimmed scenes using "Save trimmed video," I get the error: "Unable to compress video with the specific frame rate or frame size." It's all set in 16:9, and it's all set to 29fps, etc.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI create animated gifs frequently using the Frame Animation pallet. The default frame rate starts out as 10 seconds, so I always have to change it to 4 seconds. Is there anyway to reset the default frame rate that I start out with to 4 seconds, so that I don't have to change it every time?
Preferences did not yield any promising menus
I know the standard default reset with many Adobe products is to change it without a document open, but in PS CS5.5 if you do not have a document open the frame rate option is greyed out

I use this software to extract some graphics and animations. But when i export an animation to .gif it slow down. So, i export each frame to .bmp. I open in photoshop all the .bmp, create an animation, but when i export it...yeah the same problem... the .gif is slower.

I don't know why this happens.
Note: This is an example. This happens with almost animated gifs i create with photoshop. I use Photoshop CS5.5)
how to change the frame rate of an imported video in the working animation timeline box.
It automatically imports them as like 33 frames a second.
This is in CS3.
I imported a video layer from file then set the frame rate to 12fps, when I play the video it keeps changing the frame rate to random times. How do I keep it at 12fps?

I tried MaxStart.max way, but it doesn't work (I created a new file with PAL frame rate and saved it as MaxStart.max into 3ds Max folder root)
I already set the frame delay to 0secs but when I "save as web design..." but when I save it as a .gif after this step, viewing in FIREFOX browser, the animated gif is not the original speed. It has some delay.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI need to do a frame rate conversion and interlace of 24P to 29.97 interlaced for inclusion into A 29.97 timeline.
I'm on Win 7 and CS6.
Is any plugin required with CS6?
Or, can After Effects do it alone?
If a plugin is required, what is the best one for quality?
Or what stand-alone utility is most highly recommended? I thought I'd read on a Google search that Twixtor or "Magic Bullet" by Red Giant. I just spoke to Red Giant and they said they have nothing that does this.
I am using VS ProX5. While capturing the video captures normally for a few seconds and then stucks and moves slowly with one or two frames per second and the audio is very choppy.
Other video clips in my PC plays OK in VS.
I am capturing from my Panasonic digital camera through firewire cable/port to my Windows XP PC.
It used to work properly and for the past few months it is giving problem and I left it from there.
I tried using the frame rate tool and it does convert the frame rate to 25 fps but the length of the clip (in this case it should be :15) isn't changing. I'm not sure what the correct workflow would be in Smoke to do this conversion.

i'm using the trial version for corel videopro x3 -. when i try to trim the clip, the output is not as good as the original clip. Why would this be ?
i selected the "same as project settings" option when creating the file. is there some other option i should choose ?
or is this because i'm using a trial version ?
i used to edit my clips in windows movie maker and it irrespective of whatever editing i would do, the clip quality would be exactly the same as that of the source clip.
I have VideoStudio SE, packaged with Sabrent USB-AVCPT cables. I was able to capture video for a while. Now when I try I get the following message. "Capture video bit rate is 300. Frame size is 640 X 480. When using this frame size the video bit rate should be between 1578 - 8838."

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to import some clips from Avid and the clips are playing back too fast.
In Avid, the clips originated as HDV 1440x1080i 59.94 fps. I transcoded them to DVCPro 1920x1080i 59.94fps. I exported the clips from Avid using "same as source."
In Smoke, I went through the library to select and import the clips. My Smoke Cfg settings are:
30i 1280x720@5994p, project settings 1280x720.
The clips playback as if they are running at 120% (best estimate).
in the Cfg template there are settings that are similar, such as 30i 1280x720@5994p and 1280x720@5994p. Is the "30i" for interlaced footage (ie HDV and uprezed SD)?

What is the point of Xrefs in 3ds Max if disabling the Xref does nothing to improve performance? Apparently everything in the disabled Xref is still calculated, because my viewport performance is crap. So I am reduced to deleting the Xref entry completely in order to get an acceptable interactive frame rate. This defeats the purpose of Xrefs. I might as well just Merge objects in and delete them when they're not needed.
This is 2013, I thought this sort of thing would have been dealt with properly by now. If the Xref is disabled, that means I don't want it to use ANY CPU time or ANY memory. As it stands, the value of Xrefs in 3ds Max is dubious at best.
I have created a slide show by Inserting Media file to Timeline, Insert Photos. I then Share, and then Create Video File. This is a great product, so easy. However I noticed that the time delay on each picture frame is about 3 seconds. I have manually increased each slide to 5 seconds using the slider on the timeline. But this is cumbersome. Is there a place to change this default 3 seconds to what I want in the software? I cannot find it.

somewhat new to photoshop (around 6 months of practice) and am getting used to it BUT I have a problem:
up unitl this point I have been mainly editing and tweaking still projects but now I'm trying to get into the animation (for another forum )
I have all the images but when I go to Save for Web, it won't let me change the delay at all from the whip-lash fast 0.2 seconds a frame!
It's great.... I just can't have it going that fast and don't know how to extend the delay ...

Is there a setting in the registry?
I know there is no setting in Preferences.
First, I have lots of files with different properties ( SD and HD files) and all files have different properties. My goal is to edit each individual file, save as individual project file (VSP) and create individual final video file, however with an option. The option is to change any property of that individual video file.
Since creating template would not work with all different video properties, how else should I create a final video file to be able to change only the video bit rate (VBR)?
After editing a file, in when I select “SHARE/CREATE VIDEO FILE/SAME AS FIRST VIDEO CLIP”, the “OPTIONS” does not give me the option to change any individual property. That is, the video files that have too high VBR, I would like to reduce their individual VBR only and leave the rest of the other properties alone.
I have several tutorials call for a flow rate, using the paint brush. I do not see a flow rate drop down box or any other sign of flow rate adjustment in my PSE10. Could there be a hidden tool somewhere? where the flow rate box is?
