I have read as many reviews of PSE11 as I can find but none have mentioned the Timeline, which I use every day. Does it still exist in PSE11? What about the full screen view and compare side by side view? Do they still exist. If they do, can you still see the image full-size by clicking on it in full screen view?
View 2 RepliesUpgrading from PSE 10 to 11, I noticed that when I watch my images with the organizer in PSE 11 in full screen view mode (F11), while the images load faster, they are shown in a lower quality than in PSE 10 or any other version of PSE that I owned before. In PSE 11, after the initial viewing in full screen (in the "fit screen" mode), when I click with the mouse on an image to display the "100%" view, there is a delay and the program says "Loading...", after which the 100% view in the full screen mode appears. When I then click another time with the mouse on the image to get back to "fit screen" mode, I get an image of better quality than during the initial view!
So it seems like the program first gives a faster, but lower quality view of the image in full screen mode, and only after the user requests a 100% view, it actually loads the image with full detail, which is then preserved when going back to the "fit screen" view. This is a serious issue for me, because I also use PSE organizer to present my pictures to other people, and I don't want to show them some lower quality versions of my images, but the full quality ones, without having to first choose "100% view" and then go back to "fit screen".
How can I make the PSE 11 organizer give me a full-quality full screen image right away, as this used to be the case in PSE10 and before?
(I have both versions, PSE 11 and PSE 10, now on the same computer and tested this to confirm that the PSE 11 initial full screen view is of lower quality than the PSE 10 one. Also in PSE 10, there is practically no delay for displaying the "100%" view afterwards, indicating that the image was loaded with full detail right away.)
I can't open the full screen view/edit option in the organizer. It keeps 'pinging' me...

After you preview an effect in full screen, the time navigator brackets are pulled to the very start and end of the video. You return from a fullscreen video preview to see your timeline extended over the whole duration of the project.
Is there some way to turn this off? I frequently work on small sections of a project, regularly watching full-screen previews to check how various changes look, and after the tenth or so time what starts as a minor irritation becomes completely infuriating. It seems like something easily fixed, but I've had no luck finding out how.
How am I able to view the LR5 module full screen? It only covers 2/3 of the screen.

Currently I have MaxImageSize at 200M, but can't find a similar setting for the Editor, and clearly it doesn't work for the full screen view either, so if there is a setting that enables these functions, that would be useful information.
I have upgraded from pse9 to 11 and after selecting a photo in organiser then viewing in full screen and enlarging to 100% then exiting, organiser loses the highlight and reverts to the first photo. This also occurs when the photo is edited and saved you have to find where the editedd photo has gone to, it is time consuming when you have a large number of photos in the organiser. pse9 did not do this.Also pse11 does not sort photos properly by the shot date especially when the photos ard edited
View 1 Replies View RelatedEach time I open a new image in ACR and then open image the editing screen reverts to QUICK mode and a smaller screen size. I then have to click to change it to EXPERT mode and then click to make it full screen. I never had this problem with PSE 10.
(I am bringing RAW images in from outside and not via Organiser.)

Can not view image at full size when in liquify. e.g. the image is much smaller when you select liquify and when you enlarge it it pixelates. Is there a adjust or is something wrong with my Elements?

I have completed a slide show and added 3 songs. The songs are showing up on the audio bar at the bottom, but when I do full-screen preview there is no audio. My speakers are working fine, i'm able to play songs from other programs. I am working in PS Elements 9 on Windows 7.
And another question, if i want to burn the slide show onto a DVD - what type should I buy?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo, this is something that's been a nuisance for a while now, and I think it's time for me to inquire seriously about a fix for it. I'm working with some ani's in max's timeline, and everyso often I find it starts to make use (or I start to make use...?) of "ticks"...I really dont wnat them, and in fact they cause a whole bunch of issues when adjusting keyframes as Im sure some of you can imagine.
Im not sure if it does this because of a setting I choose ( I always start animating in frames mode), or because I often will work in Key mode when Im swapping in a certain pose often...since all my character's animations are in one timeline.
The big question is...is there a way to FORCE these "ticked" keys onto full frames somehow? I've looked through all the timewarps I can find, and adjust <i>their</i> keys to full frames, but eventually it still goes back to ticks....WHAT MUST I DO!!!!! maybe there's a script, or Im missing something obvious?
I keep resetting to frames mode, and rechecking timewarps...to no longterm avail.
I'm new to video editing and know little about the program I am using (Adobe Premiere Pro CC). How I can add the full size video or pics to the time line. It appears whenever I add something from my Gopro 3 HD camera I only get a partial of the video / pic.

-Premise: I like working in full screen mode. I see only my composition, and access all of Photoshop's functionality with hotkeys.
It used to be that, in Full Screen mode, one could press alt+f to access the file menu, or any other menu using the correct letter. Is there anyway to get the same results in Photoshop without leaving full screen? What happened to alt+'space' to access the common Windows Application menu for things like Minimize, Maximize, Move, Close, etc? I see that I can click on the PS icon at the top right, but this is not the same: consider those of us who use multiple monitors, sometimes the application closes on one monitor and then is re-opened when that monitor is no longer present. In cases like these, the application is stuck on a non-existent monitor with no way to use it. Alt+'space' used to be the solution for this.
