Elements will open but will not load picture from lightroom..using a new iMac... I have already change the preference to edit in elements 10 (in lightroom)but it still will not open image..

When i open Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, which i have used for quite some time and its always worked, it now had a blank window pop up and it will no longer let me create new documents, open old ones or use any features. Basically it just freezes and doesn't even let me quit the program, i have to force quit it every time.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a terabite and a half hard drive with not very much used up. I have b een reading about Adobe 9 and the answer seems to be lack of space. That just can't be true in my case. I have 1.45 TB free of 1.80 TB. Operating system Windows 7. HP desk top computer.
It takes forever when workiing tagging photos, writing comments at bottom of picture etc. I am continually haviing to "wait for program to respond" ???

The computer is a new HP desktop with Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 operating system. I'd like to upgrade from Elements to Lightroom. I'm currently using Elements version 11 for Mac.
With my free trial download of Lightroom, I've attempted multiple times to upgrade my Elements catalog, but it will only recognize about 1100 of my 45000 photos. If I cannot import the catalog I will not be able to switch to Lightroom.
I downloaded a trial of Lightroom 4 and went to import my Elements 8.0 catalog. It says that it did do it, but with errors...and now when I open Lightroom, all my pictures just show up as grey squares. If I try to import pictures individually, it says that Lightroom already has all my pictures in the Library.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe company I work for has used autodesk models and set up their own frame generated parts. Basically took the models and every generated model will have their custom properties specific to our company. These custom parts appear when I change to the correct project and will not show on default. Frame generator has been working fine up until the past 2 days.
When I try and edit the a frame generated piece (deleting a trim with frame generator, editing a part with frame generator) the dialogue box shows and the blue bar is running across the box but it stays in this state until I exit the program. I have even let it load for about 30 minutes before after leaving it to go out for lunch.
This has only recently started happening and I am not sure what is wrong. Frame generator does work like normal sometimes. I don't have any programs that are using excessive amounts of memory in the background.
When I try to create a sequence the program stops working and force quits, I have a school project due!!!
