Photoshop :: CS6 Suddenly Stopped Launching?

Win 7 64bit SPANISH
Photoshop CS6 US ENGLISH
Hardware: Intel Core i5-2500 CPU @ 3.3GHz, 8 MB ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti
Appears: Error: 16 and the following images. How can I uninstall if I can not launch and deactivate first the product ?

Nov 25, 2012I'm using Photoshop CS 5.1 on an iMac, running OS 10.8.2. I've encountered an odd behavior. Photoshop is open. I try to open a tif or jpeg in Photoshop by control-clicking the icon, or double-clicking in Bridge. Instead of simply opening the doc, Photoshop launches again - so now there are two Photoshop icons open in my dock. (And if I check behavior in Activity Monitor, indeed there are two Photoshop 5.1's running.) I get a message.
"The application has been moved, and its path has changed. To update the product configuration, click Update."
Click Update. Enter admin password. But then the problem simply recurs. The update isn't sticking.
The problem doesn't occur if I try to open a Photoshop doc by clicking it (just .tif and .jpg).
When I look in 'recent items - applications' in the finder I see two Photoshop 5.1's. But there is only one Photoshop 5.1 in my Application folder.
When I have two Photoshops open (as it were) neither one 'knows' about the windows open in the other. That is, if I have picture.psd open in one and picture2.psd open in the other, I don't see picture2.psd as an option in the bottom of the Window menu, if I'm viewing picture.psd.
But when I quit and just re-launch Photoshop from the dock, it remembers the docs from both launches via 'open recent'.
Most peculiar.
This really isn't inordinately impacting my workflow but it's odd, and I think it's slowing the system. (I'm thinking of updating to CS 6. Maybe it will just go away!)
Photoshop :: Stopped Opening Files
May 11, 2006I am on a mac running the latest OS and i had to take it in to the shop. It got the logic board fixed and when I got it back I can no longer drag and drop files into Photoshop to open them.
It opens photoshop but will not open the pic. The only way I can open the pic is if i go under the menu and select open. Even when I right click on a pic and "open with photoshop" it only runs the program and not opens the file.
Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?

Apr 6, 2013I have Win 7 and my PS CS 6 worked fine for months but now has stopped opening any files or creating new ones. Instead it just freezes without any errors warnings. I do have CS5 PS still installed and it still works fine. All other CS6 programs work fine also. I tried uninstalling and reinstalled and I still got the same problem.

I can log in to any other account on my computer and it opens just fine. have to sign out go to another user account edit then log out and then back in to my normal admin account

Sep 27, 2012I have LR4 and PS CS5. Edited several photos this morning without a problem --But this evening, after editing in LR, clicked command+E to open in Photoshop- as I always do, but didn't get the dialog that gives me the option to edit with LR changes. The files are opening as raw instead of TIFF all of a sudden! I have done nothing different aside from updating the Kubota dashboard.
I deleted the Kubota plug-in since that was the only thing I did out of the ordinary but still no luck. I am deserate to get images edited in LR transferred to PS WITH THE EDITS! Why would it work one minute and not the next?
Just tried to edit in Color Efex from Lightroom and got the dialogue. So...it's only happening with Photoshop. I tried uninstalling Photoshop and reinstalling with updated Camera Raw 6.7 plugin. No luck....

Feb 25, 2014i'm on a windows 7 HP Z820 and premiere pro as well as after effects CC stopped reading pores files from my black magic cinema camera (2.5k), but the audio still works (and all other players on the system are playing the files properly).
- uninstall/reinstall premiere pro CC - didn't work
- uninstall/reinstall apple codec - didn't work
- shot different codecs (cinema.dng/prores/DNxHD) - RAW and DNxHD kept working
- encoded the camera's SSD's HFS+ on windows / oSX journaled on a mac - no difference
Premiere Pro :: Flickering Image Then Display Drive Stopped Responding
Mar 11, 2014What I've done differently is applied a few effects to clips, such as contrast and exposure, and then nested the clips. Then I've dragged these sequences together on the timeline and trimmed and edited. The 13 minute video plays well for about 9 minutes, then it starts flickering, alternating with black and white screens, then in the last minute it crashes. I get the message "Display Drive Stopped Responding and Has Recovered." I've begun replacing some of the nested sequences with the original imported assets, but still the same end result.
I'm working with 1920 x 1080 assests at 23.97 fps. I've worked with these before, no problem (though I haven't had to add so many effects before).
I'm working on an Intel Core i7-3770 GPU @ 3.40 GHz 10 GB.
CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 :: 6.4 Has Stopped Opening Documents?
Sep 16, 2013I noticed over the last few days that Corel was taking a while to open files. Like, if I had one open already it was usually fast enough, but if Corel wasn't open I'd get an error from the file manager I use saying it couldn't execute the program. Every time though, if I closed CorelDraw, and open a new instance of the program I'd be fine again.
Today has been different. Today I've had to restart corel practically every time I've tried to open a document. A few minutes ago I couldn't even get corel to open.
Right now where I'm at: I can open corel, I can change workspaces, but I can't open any file or even a 'new blank document' It freezes/hangs with the processing bar at about 80 %.
I'm going to try a restore point. I brag about how stable my system is, this makes no sense, I don't think it is a corel problem, I've noticed a ton of updates from Windows starting middle of last week. I just figured it would work itself out. I'll post every step I take. Oh, and by the way, I can open PhotoPaint Just fine.
I've removed update KB2853952 - Improvement only in that I can open corel, but can't open a new document or an existing document. I've done an F8 while starting up Corel Draw and reset to factory specs. No change. Deleted all 10,006 items in my temp folder. No change. System restore back to 9/10/2013 worked. Corel functions as expected.
Current System: i3 3.07ghz, 3gb ram, Windows 7 32 bit with all updates and X6

Jan 7, 2014I have had premiere fail to open for a while now on one of my secondary PC's. This computer was setup with a network drive as its disk cache/links to projects. This is so multiple editors can work off the same RAID. Works perfectly, aside from the fact that windows somehow unlinked the network drive. Once this happened premiere fails to launch and crashes when starting the program.
I had got the network drive linked back up at one point and premiere launched again running with zero problems. Again windows messed up the network drive, and premiere again, does not work.
I need to reset the settings for premiere (the disk cache settings).
THINGS I'VE ALREADY TRIED: I already tried holding Ctrl + Shift to reset, did not work. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the settings were not removed and program keeps crashing.
I would just relink the network drive and then once premiere launches change the disk cache and never do that again, but sadly the computer will not relink to that partical drive.
I'm running windows 8, latest version of CC (just updated). I have 32gig Ram, I7 processor overclocked to 4.4GHz, Nvidia Graphics.

Mar 1, 2014On my primary Workstation I´ve created a project of medium complexity (150GB, approx. 200 files, 5 sequences).Here everything is working just fine.
On my laptop I also installed Adobe CC. I copied the whole projects' folder from workstation 1 onto my external HDD and connected it to my laptop.Opening and cutting works fine here too.
Now, when I save and take the project (project file only) back to workstation 1, here Premiere Pro CC fails to load it up.The loading bar proceeds to about 75% and then freezes. If I give it some time (10-15 minutes) it finally finishes loading, but Premiere isn't showing any reaction to mouse or keyboard, there are no panels at all visible. Basically it is crashed, allthough that´s not being indicated by the task manager.
I´ve tried all the tips from in here as well as the "usual stuff": Saving a new project file, nothing.Deleting preview files, then saving a new file, nothing.Importing the project into AE and exporting a new project (on my laptop), nope.Deleting all dynamic linked comps from the old project, saving then taking it to laptop 1, opening and saving it again, taking it back to the workstation, no.Completely deleting everything Adobe on my workstation 1 and re-installing CC, "great" experience, but to no avail.I also followed the solution of the similar problem on another thread here in the forums, with unzipping the xml and deleting certain lines of code and so forth, still nothing. Then I went ahead and installed CC on my second laptop (not at all to be considered a workstation). Here the projects saved on laptop 1 opened just fine (asking for media files of course...).
EDIT:I forgot to mention that a new and blank project from the laptops opens just fine on the workstation...
So I have to consider that something's wrong with my primary workstation. Right?
It´s a fresh installation of Windows 8.1 with 24GB of Ram, GeForce GTX 570, i7 950, WD drives only, Windows on a seperate hybrid disk...All CC installations are up to date.
Premiere Pro :: Get Blank Audio Tracks On Opening A Project
Dec 10, 2013I can edit a video, with resynced sound/dialogue in premiere cc. When I save and close the project, everything is okay. When I later reopen the project all or most of the audio tracks are blank. They are there with the right name and length, but no waveform and no sound. I have put them in manually resynced and then on save and close: again they are gone. So there really is no point in editing if I can`t save the result. How can i restore my edits and also why do I have to do so? I have now redone every scene 5 times and I need a solution asap. Autosave keeps the same useless projects.

I tried the pluraleyes extension (as I was using pluraleyes) but this makes no difference.
Premiere Pro :: Opening All Projects Freezes It With Media Pending
Feb 4, 2014I've run into a problem with Premiere Pro CS6. Last week, I experienced a crash while working on a project, and ever since then I have been completely unable to open ANY of my saved projects.
Whenever I now try to open any saved project - regardless of whether it contains any footage or not - Premiere immediately freezes unrecoverably. The same thing happens with newly created projects. If the project contains video footage, the 'Media Pending' preview shows on the frozen page - if there is NO video footage in the project (which would be rare, obviously), then it just freezes without the Media Pending message.
I can, however, open a previously saved project by opening Premiere, creating a NEW project and importing an old project or sequence into it. Using this method I am able to encode one video at a time. I can not use Adobe Media Encoder to queue up video sequences for encoding - Adobe Media Encoder also crashes (freezes) whenever I attempt to start the encoding queue.
Steps attempted to resolve this issue (all unsuccessful);
Uninstalled the Adobe Master Collection CS6 completely, followed by a reinstallation. No change.Uninstalled every Adobe application on the computer, then deleted every remaining Adobe directory I could find - including those contained in Program Files, Program Files (x86) and in my user profile directory. Also emptied my Media Cache folders. I also then ran the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and removed everything it would allow me to from CS6 and below. Followed by a reinstallation. No change.Both of the above installing back without any patches (Premiere CS6.0.0) and with patches (Premiere CS6.0.5). No change.Emptied the 'Temp' folder for my user profile. No change.
The one slightly useful thing that I have found is that if I create a new user account in Windows and open Premiere from there, everything seems to be fine - so the issue would seem to be related to my Windows user account ...
I do not want to simply eraze my current user account because it would take me ages to restore all of my preferences, applications and whatnot to their correct configuration - and there's no guarantee that the same thing wouldn't occur again (especially given that I've seem similar reports from other people, so it's not an isolated incident).
I'm running Windows 7 Pro, SP1, incidentally.

Everytime I start the programme It goes into organiser and ten seconds or so later I get a message saying " Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working" A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Mar 3, 2014I recently had to have a new hard drive and motherboard installed on my PC, which is running Win 7. I didn't have any problems at all with Elements prior to this.
I haven't opened PSE 12 for a few days.
My normal workflow is:
Open RAW file, edit, then separately save PSD and JPG in Irfanview (maybe an odd choice but it's familiar and easy to use).
Just recently I've noticed a problem in Irfanview when entering and saving IPTC data, in that suddenly I'm told the file isn't found, when I try to open it the image area is black, and all I can do is delete it. This is possibly unrelated to my PSE 12 problem, however each time the only way to get a usable copy of the JPG is to re-open the PSD in Elements and re-save as a JPG.
Today, in Elements, when I go to Save As (my usual choice) I go through the usual process but when I check on my hard drive the JPG hasn't been saved.
