I am trying to put two photos on the same page to then crop and save as one photo. It was extremely easy in the old Adobe Photo software but elements is a nightmare - I have spent hours trying to figure it out.

I want to center this group on the page but as soon as the background layer is selected, each photo piles onto each other with a mind of its own. Tried everything I know (which isn't really very much). It will work if I merge the group, but I don't want to do that.. I am using Elements 12 with Windows 8.1.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to print two 4x6" photos on each page of a picture package, but I can't get it to print out the captions. I've successfully done it before, but can't now. The "more options" menu doesn't provide for "printing choices" and "show captions" for picture package, and I'm not sure how else to do two pictures per page. Is there another way to get the captions to print out when printing two per page? The captions print when I print individual photos.

After moving a page in my document the master page elements no longer display on screen or in print. If I move the page to a different location in the document the master displays but if it is in the specific position that it needs to be it will not display. The document has multiple Masters and others do work on the page but the one that I need will not. I've tried deleting the page and adding a new one and that does not fix the problem. I've checked and "Hide Master Items" is not checked. The page in question is in position 48 with F-Master applied. If I move it to position 49 it works, 50, it works, 51, or any other it works. If I apply a different master to the page, it works. If I delete the page, add a new page and apply F-Master it still does not work. The only page that this problem is happening on is page 48.

New user to PSE11. Is it recommended that ALL photos be in albums or is the idea that photos in albums are a subset of the photos in folders? With all the sort and search functionality, I don't understand the benefit of albums.I name my image folders using a standard naming convention with the date embedded so it makes them rather easy to manage.

When I attempt to sync photos in iTunes (to synch with my iPhone), Photoshop Elements appears in the drop down and when I select it, it finds all the "albums" in the catalog. However, when I select an album to sync, iTunes indicates 0 photos are available in the album.
I'm running photoshop elements 11, iTunes 11.0.1.12, Windows 8 Pro.
if I try to sync "all photos and albums" it still reports that there are "0 photos" available to sync.
I've tried to make new albums, which iTunes "sees" the names, but there are "0 photos" available to sync.
I've also tried to sync with a folder (file system) which works just fine.
I can not paste photos from my photos file. If I start a blank file I can paste anything photos want from the web in as many layers as I want. If I try to paste a photo from my own photos file it becomes the back ground by itself. I don't know how to stop this. Using photoshop elements 11.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I open a photo from one of my files in PE10 and want to print it at 4x6 (which I properly indicate in the appropriate box,) it will do that if I keep the photo centered on the page. But if I move the photo to the top of the page so that I can print two photos on the same sheet, it will crop the photo and reduce the size to 4x4 1/4".
Is there any way of keeping the size at 4x6 at the top of the page, or can I print only with the photo centered on the page?
I am in the create Photobook portion of Photoshop elements. In the photobin if I right click on a photograph and then left click the option "use image as page background". It deletes the current background and inserts the photo that I have selected but it seems to be about 50% opacity. I can see the photo and it is half faded with the white and grey square background.
How do I get the background photograph to show fully (or 100% opacity?) I can not find any where to set this?

I noticed that I can't add more than one page to a project and save a multiple page PDF. I can open a multiple page PDF, but not create or save one.
Is this a new limitation, or just a software bug Adobe plans to fix?
Any way to work with multiple page PDF's in Photoshop Elements 11?
