View 2 RepliesWhen I insert one layer from one image file to another file I find it difficult to align it. I ensure that both layers are the same DPI and the same pixel dimension. But when I drag one layer on the other file it is hard to align it so that it exactly lays on top/underneath the other. And even when I ensure thet layer is the same size it doesn't always seem to align size wise with the existing layer. This is the one area that I am struggling wtih on Elements and I want to use this a fair amount. I had Elements 11 and have just upgraded to Elements 12. Haven't seen a tutorial video on this, but maybe I missed it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am making a video in Nero Vision 10 and need to cut out the screen of a tv so that I can layer the TV over an image/video so it looks as though it is on the screen. I enclose a screenshot of the project. 'Transform-tools-crop' only cuts in straight lines so I wonder which device I should use which can cut out an odd bespoke shape? You can see in the uploaded image from the project how the image currently cannot fill the frame without covering it.

Also, is there a quick way to return PS Elements 10 to its default settings?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I create an image layer (say 1.5 x 1.5 inches) and when I set that image onto a background (say 2.5 x 2.5 inches) the image expands to the larger background size.
Why? Or what am doing wrong that would cause this to happen. I recently upgraded from PSE 9 to PSE 12. This was never an issue with PSE 9.
When I try to crop a photomerge image all the layer boxes go blank, the box that should have the cropped image has a teeny paint brush overlaying a teeny canvas, no image.

However I am still trying to figure out how to insert my image into this template so I can then have photoshop manage the color and print it with my Epson 3800 printer. When I click on the template it says could not complete your request because more than one layer is selected. This what Avery sent in the download. Do I have to do this in layers? I just want to insert the photo and print my images on the postcard templates I bought from Avery.

To correct this it usually involves several steps - Explode and change the layer, setbylayer, bedit, etc,
Is there a command to where I can directly insert a block and its layers change to the current layer of the active AutoCAD drawing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have two maps of same area (different years) and I want to match them up as one map. I can load them both as layers and make the older map transparent so that I can see through to newer map, but older map is larger than the newer map (in the background). I can move the transparent map but I cannot make just the transparent map smaller to fit over the other map. I will also need to rotate the map slightly. When I try to resize it changes both maps. I have tried the transform and the move tool. So how can I make one layer smaller and rotate it it leaving the other layer intact?
