I have data in an Excel spreadsheet that I want to insert into the drawing in a table format that replicates my spreadsheet formatting and creates AutoCAD entities as opposed to a bitmap image or the mess the TABLE command generates - I'm looking to keep my text consistent within the drawing and I still use the old SIMPLEX font.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a picture of an airplane and a company logo. I need to put the logo in such a way that it looks as if it is painted on the wing. For that I need to twist it, rotate it and somehow curve it. I only know how to do the rotation but not the rest.
I am linking an example file with the airplane as the background and the logo as a separate layer.

I have downloaded a drawing of a Spitfire from WWII. I have made the curves with the curve tool. I cannot seam to convert them to anything else. I am trying to "skin" the aircraft so I can make the fuselage.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am making a video in Nero Vision 10 and need to cut out the screen of a tv so that I can layer the TV over an image/video so it looks as though it is on the screen. I enclose a screenshot of the project. 'Transform-tools-crop' only cuts in straight lines so I wonder which device I should use which can cut out an odd bespoke shape? You can see in the uploaded image from the project how the image currently cannot fill the frame without covering it.

However I am still trying to figure out how to insert my image into this template so I can then have photoshop manage the color and print it with my Epson 3800 printer. When I click on the template it says could not complete your request because more than one layer is selected. This what Avery sent in the download. Do I have to do this in layers? I just want to insert the photo and print my images on the postcard templates I bought from Avery.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to prepare my images in PS CS6 for print. I have read several articles that TIFF files print best since they do not lose any information but sometimes you can barely see the difference from a TIFF to a JPEG. However, I have also been told by a professional wedding photographer that you should always give your clients JPEGS since it is such a universal file format. I noticed on websites like CVS photo or Shutterfly they do not even accept TIFF files.
what file settings are best when printing JPEGS?I would normally save a file as the following:
- JPEG (quality 12/baseline optimized)
- 16-bit
- 300 dpi
- 3000x the longest side
- RGB color space
However, when I use the 'Image Processor' in PS to save all of my open files as JPEGs, it always saves them as 8-bit, sRGB color space. I have have a few concerns with this..
- Do JPEGs have to be 8-bit? If so, is this ok for printing? I have heard 16-bit is best.
- Shouldn't print files be RGB color space? NOT sRGB?
- Does the dpi matter?
Is there any easy way to change the auto settings when saving as a JPEG in the 'Image Processor'? Or maybe I could create an action for saving? Although, I have tried this and it never seems to work properly.
I have created many images for my new website and they all look crisp and clean in .psd format but when i save them to .gif they become slightly jagged around the edges which are not straight.
I have tried .png format but this has a mask over the image when viewed on the site. Also .jpg images are to big for websites i thought?
What is the best image format and if it is .gif which i have been previously informed to use how do i stop the rounded edges from becoming jagged?
I've tried inserting a table from Excel into Photoshop and making a jpeg and gif out of it, but when I upload it to the web the resolution is terrible. How I can make get a table into an image? It's a bit too complex to create with HTML.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop CS2 and Image Ready CS2. I have my signature scanned into a JPG file, and I have a form that requires my signature also in JPG format. I want to be able to paste the image of my signature into this form, but I don't want it to erase anything in the backround, that being the actual signature line on the form. I can't quite figure out how to do this using Photoshop.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I insert one layer from one image file to another file I find it difficult to align it. I ensure that both layers are the same DPI and the same pixel dimension. But when I drag one layer on the other file it is hard to align it so that it exactly lays on top/underneath the other. And even when I ensure thet layer is the same size it doesn't always seem to align size wise with the existing layer. This is the one area that I am struggling wtih on Elements and I want to use this a fair amount. I had Elements 11 and have just upgraded to Elements 12. Haven't seen a tutorial video on this, but maybe I missed it.

TIF can only do 32bit, PNG can only do 32 and OpenEXR can do up to 32bit float, and as far as I'm aware only 32bit equal to PNG and TIF.
i cant save an animated gif in image ready. when i try to save as...it will only let me save as a psd file, and when i try to save optimized...it will only let me save as a jpg.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have more of a geometry question, rather than CAD question. I need to determine the size of a spar hole for an airplane wing. The wing will be cut out of foam with a hot wire. There is a round spar hole in the wing that runs from the root to the tip on each wing half. A carbon fiber rod goes through it. Seems easy, but the wing is swept back 35 degrees, so round hole will actually be an ellipse is when it exits the root and tip. The hole needs to be 5mm. The ellipse will be 5mm tall, but how do I figure out how wide?
