Photoshop Elements :: Can't Type Text When Using Adobe Attachments
Feb 6, 2014
Trying to use the Adobe email to send attached photos. After attaching the photos and before sending the email I am trying to type in text in the message area, but it will not let me?
In the manual is indicated that you can resize pictures (under the Share tab) to use them as eamil attacments and then put them in a folder to manually attach them to a message in the email client of your choice. Unfortunately I cannot find this option in the Organizer part of the program. Using the Fotomail or Adobe mail options is not possible in a Win 7 64 bits Outlook environment and I don't want to change to a 32 bit version of Outlook.
When using Windows Live Mail (Windows 8.1) to share a photo, PSE 12 will not send it as an attachment. It will send it as photo mail. We need to be able to do both.
The message I receive is "Elements Organizer could not finish creating your e-mail message."
In Share - email attachments - my default email address is not recognised - it uses an old address. In preferences - sharing - email settings - I only have two choices - Windows Mail and Adobe email service - Windows Live Mail does not appear.
I am now being asked to verify the e-mail address I am sending out from...it says I am supposed to get a verification code to enter after my email but no e-mail was ever sent to me..when I try to go into edit and preferences all the choices are grayed out?
Set Outlook as Default, but still it won't go. Then tried the Adobe Email service, but it won't send verification email. I"ve have uninstalled and reinstalled PSE11 - did not change. This should not be difficult.
II cam unable to type a message in the email body when using Adobe Email Service.
I have my email sharing preferences in PSE 11 set to use Adobe Email Service. I successfully verified my email and I am able to send photos using this service; however, I am not able to edit the message that accompanies the photos. I can type in the address line and subject line of the email dialog box. But, I am not able to type in the body of the message. I would like to be able to write a personalized message. I believe that I was able to type a message in previous versions of PSE.
Type a custom message when using Adobe Email Service? If yes, how can I enable that feature?
I have a type layer with some text in it (a headline, let's say). I click on the layer, I click on the Character Panel, and first thing I see is the color in the Panel is not the color of the font in the layer.
I then click on any Panel property, and the text in this layer is replaced by text from another layer in my document ( a paragraph layer, let's say), but the color is not the same as the layer the text came from.
I've just read your article on 'Cleartype Text in IE7'. I am a user experience designer/art director who regularly creates visual designs of websites in Adobe Photoshop CS3.
I have a question that I am trying to find out the answer to, which is proving to be quite the mystery/problem.
Here's my question: Is there anyway to mimic clear type displayed in an IE7 browser, in Photoshop CS3 (on a PC)?
As you probably know there are 4 different options of anti aliasing text in Photoshop, but none of them truly represent how the text will appear when it's been coded up and displayed in IE7.
I have a vector shape (which is simply four rounded rectangles) that I have converted to a 3D object, now you can see I've angled the flat plane so it's a little oblique, but what I want to do now is map the 'face' of the extruded shape so instead of lying on a flat plane, the plane itself is warped like a sphere.
Imagine taking these 'chicklets' and pressing them onto a bowling ball instead of lying on a flat table. Is there any way to do that in CS6 or am I going to have to do this in another 3D application?
Is there a way I can edit the registry so that in Adobe Bridge, under edit, preferences, file type associations, the jpg extension is forced to use the 32-bit version of Photoshop? I can do it manually, but is there a registry key i can export to apply it to multiple computers?
Since applying the latest Microsoft updates to XP/SP3 last week I can now no longer add Open Type 1 or Type 1 fonts to Fonts in Windows, and therefore can't add more fonts for use in Photoshop CS3. I tried a new hard drive, reloaded with XP/SP3 plus updates and the exact same thing occurs. Any of those types of fonts I try to add come up as corrupt/can't load, when in fact they are not corrupt and the exact same font files load with no problem in another XP/SP3 machine that hasn't had the updates applied, and they also load without a hitch in a Vista machine. Anyone else, who has all the updates installed noticing this? Anyone have a solution? I know that this isn't exactly 100% related to Photoshop only, but it does affect the program.
In creative cloud i selected English (Arabic enabled) as a preference. I reinstalled Photoshop because I had already installed Photoshop with English as a preference. I still can't type joining Arabic letters. How to type joint Arabic letters in adobe Photoshop / illustrator?
I have the Adobe Font Folio (Open Type) but I don't know where to start. I do a lot of small ads and so I use a lot of small type.
Does anyone know which fonts in this pack are good for small type? Maybe something thick that will look better at a smaller font size.
I've tried going through the fonts by highlighting the font name in the box and using the arrow keys to rifle through them, but as you know, it highlights what's on the page, making it near to impossible to see how the font would actually look if it weren't highlighted.
I batch renamed a bunch of photos in adobe bridge and renamed them as SaraJ._01 etc. and they were saved as a strange file type that I can no longer open?? Document type just says _35 or whatever number the file is. They are just white files no thumbnail preview nothing...
First it stops pasting anything except the first thing copied when Gimp opens, and now this. When I try to search for a font or type in text in the text tool in Gimp 2.8, it just jumps to random other tools instead of typing.
Today Illustrator CS4 decided to start crashing on me when I try to paste text into the art board. It will also not allow me to type text into the artboard. Whenever I try to type, it just does all the tool shortcuts. I have alread tried deleting the preferences and that hasn't worked at all.
I have recived an illustrator file which ontains some text and I have to update the labels on the file but it seems the text has been chnged to Outlines Path. how i can convert them to regular editable text type?
What a mess trying to attach two images! I finally got one image up - but when i tried to attach two, the second one only showed up as a number code. How to attach multiple images correctly.
I can't type text anymore. I choose the text tool, position it somewhere in my drawing, start typing but nothing shows up. I can see where I placed it because the small box is there. I tried adjusting to various point sizes, different colors, different fonts, but nothing seems to work. If I type something, what I typed shows up in the layer name but not the picture. Would anyone know what might be going on?
