I have my email sharing preferences in PSE 11 set to use Adobe Email Service. I successfully verified my email and I am able to send photos using this service; however, I am not able to edit the message that accompanies the photos. I can type in the address line and subject line of the email dialog box. But, I am not able to type in the body of the message. I would like to be able to write a personalized message. I believe that I was able to type a message in previous versions of PSE.
Type a custom message when using Adobe Email Service? If yes, how can I enable that feature?

Trying to send photo by email attachment or photo email.
Had previously done the verification code thing and got the code and have been sending pics by photo email.Have got PS10 loaded to my Desk Top - main system and also my laptop .When trying now to send pics on my DeskTop I can get to the (maybe second) screen where you choose the size of the phots and then I get the Verification Code screen - which tells me that an 'initial verification code' will be emailed to the chosen email - but when I say continue, I go to the next screen of the Photo email and then when trying to send the phto email it locks up and says an unexpected error has taken place ...
I have sent some photos via the laptop but it seems to be very hit and miss at the moment. Also I have some problems opening PSE10 - When I click on the icon - I get the initial "organise or edit" screen where I choose organise - but then all that happens is this screen closes and the Organiser does not open. Most of the time I'm left with maybe shutting down my whole computer and starting up again and it works again.
In the manual is indicated that you can resize pictures (under the Share tab) to use them as eamil attacments and then put them in a folder to manually attach them to a message in the email client of your choice. Unfortunately I cannot find this option in the Organizer part of the program. Using the Fotomail or Adobe mail options is not possible in a Win 7 64 bits Outlook environment and I don't want to change to a 32 bit version of Outlook.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from PSE 6 to PSE 11 but I can't use email for sharing either as attachments or photo mail. It all worked great in PSE 6 before I decided to upgrade this week. My OS is Vista. I checked the registry and my default is correctly set to Windows Mail, however Windows Mail is not an option in the PSE 11 Preferences Sharing set up. The only options that currently show up are only Outlook or Adobe Email Service. I tried the Adobe Email Service since Windows mail didn't appear in the drop down. I got the confirmation code but PSE 11 still freezes up and is not able to complete the email process.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Windows Vista and have just installed PSE 12. I have chosen and authenticated Adobe as my email client. (I received the email from Adobe and pasted in the code, which appeared to work.) Now when I choose a photo and a recipient from my contacts list, a message appears that's ready to send. I can delete and type into the subject line, and I can delete in the body of the email, but I can't type anything into the body. If I click the font button and choose a font, its name immediately disappears and the font box is blank.
When I sent messages from PSE 6.0, the body of the message appeared with the chosen photo before the final form of the message appeared. I could edit the body of the email at that point, although I couldn't edit the body once the final form of the email appeared. But in PSE 12 the body of the email does not show ahead of time with the photo, as it did with PSE 6.0. I have had LOTS of trouble switching over from PSE 6.0 to 12.
I need using the feature which allows users to send an edited photo via e-mail. I've done it 100's of times with earlier versions but can't locate the How To.
