I have had Elements 12 running previously on my machine. I have just upgraded the hard drive and am in the process of reinstalling. My version is an upgrade to V11. This installed correctly and is running. Whenever I try to install V12 it gets right to the end and install an icon on the desktop and then just runs. I have left it for 3 hours and it still won't finish the installation.

I have no external DVD drive, so I need to be able to download it to install it. Before, I just downloaded a trial of PSE 10 and then converted that to a full version. Now I'm unable to find any link to a trial version of 10 that doesn't just redirect me to 11 (including urls suggested in the PSE 10 users manual that came in the box). How the heck to I go about reinstalling my software?

Before installing CS6, I could quite happily scan photos etc via my scanner, from within Elements 8, but now when I go 'File > Get Photos and Videos > From Scanner' within Elements 8 (with Photoshop CS6 not open at the time, incidentally), I get a message saying 'Software for this device could not be launched. The device is not connected or is busy'. I would like to be able to scan from either Photoshop applications.

I at first thought it was down to insufficient registration with the images, but I realised it fails every time, so tried with 32bit PS and all worked OK. It loads the RAW files and builds the layer stack, and usually shows the 'Aligning files' message. Then the files disappear from the screen leaving Photoshop still running.
I don't think it has ever worked with this particular installation on this machine.

32Mb RAM (70% assigned for PS)

To recap, it works OK with PS 32 bit. I have tried starting from Bridge > Tools > Photoshop > Photomerge and directly from Photoshop File > Automate > Photomerge using open files.

I tried to save a file in another program while waiting for the crop to finish (usually about 1 second) and got an out-of-memory error. I checked the D: driv where the file in the other program was saved.
I have a flash C: drive and is not selected in the scratch disk preference. Two scratch disks, E: and G:, are selected with a total of about 800GB free space. After closing PS6Beta, the D: drive recovered about 164GB. The D: drive is not selected in the Scratch Disk list. I work with larger files and anticipate this problem again.How can I trap information for Adobe next time?

I never had this problem before, but in the past few days this message keeps coming up, and converts the files to outline mode. It's happening to all kinds of illustrator files ranging is size from 2MB to 56MB, from simple drawings with gradient fills, to complex drawings with mesh. In most of the files, I'm working with vector images that I didn't create, but purchased from stock photo sites.
I just installed the student version of Revit 2013. I opened it and everything seems to be working expect when I draw anything (ie topo surface, wall, etc.), the modify tab is missing all the draw options (line, circle, etc) as well as the Finish and Cancel buttons. This makes it impossible for me to use the software without those. Is there a way they could be hidden or is the software just corrupt?

Recently, I restarted my MAC and I'm not able to place images in AI or open AI files with images. Sometimes when I do place a jpg, it just shows a box.

I'm looking for a solution to export surface finishes into Excel. We built an assembly and parts and their faces has different colors. Is that possible to read colored faces, merged them by color, read the total surface area and then export into Excel. That is for estimating purposes. When I edit the wall structure, and modify the layers so that I can take the interior wall finish only up to the sheathing line, the wall does not join at the corners properly. It leaves a gap for the interior fininsh at a corner above the sheathing line when looking in 3d. What are you all doing with parpet walls and the interior finishes above the roof line?
