Photoshop Elements :: Tags / Keywords - Tagging And Filtering / Searching Photos?
Oct 11, 2013I would like new functionality on handling tags for filtering/searching photos (as a replacement of the `advanced search`)
The goal is, to use the same Tag-structure to tag photos and also to filter them (most likely as you could do that with PSE 9 ) .
I don't want this `advanced search` window, that takes a lot of space - I want to see my photos, not a hug program border..

Nov 3, 2013Got a new Windows 8.1 PC. Successfully transferred all photos (about 12000) to the new hard drive. When I open Photoshop and use "get photos from files and folders", I can locate the pix but when I try to import them, the process starts then stops without bringing any to the organizer.

May 25, 2013I have prepared a folder using AVCHD for BLU RAY Disc( that is I am not trying to burn Blue Ray from timeline). When I go in share-create disc-pick blue-ray, the program aborts with message 'Program will abort Contact technical support'. No details on error
The file size is less than 6 GB
I am using WIN 8 have 16 GB of ram, Have Blue Ray burner and Quad Core CPU. I have checked and Burner's firmware is up to date Same for Videostudio 15. It has all the updates and patches installed.
Lightroom :: Reordering Photos Stops Working After A While?
Jan 12, 2014I use the grid view to reorder photos then rename them so I have the corrrect sequence number for each image as part of the name. After I have been doing this for an hour or so (on various folders of images) Lightroom gives me an error message saying: "Reorder photos by dragging from within the grid view, not by dragging from another source". The images are not from multiple folders and I am gragging within the grid view same as I was doing moments before it simply stopped working. Subsequent attempts to drag are met simply with silence. No more error messages.

Mar 10, 2012I have a folder containing all my photos (15000 photos: 70% JPG, 30% NEF) in a sorted folder-structure.
I am trying to import that filestructure to Lightroom, but after some thousand fotos the import-process just stops. Lightroom is still usable, the "import-progress-bar" shows the correct value (something below 50%) but import action is frozen.
I can shutdown the program and them try to restart them import, but it does not work.
When I then try to import the fotos "year by year" then it also has the same behaviour after some time...
Seems to me quite a bug for the sake of a photo-management-tool?

Mar 31, 2013When I open Elements 7 on the left side it starts looking for subscription information but it never stops looking. I have to close the program and restart to get in. Thisd is extremely annoying. Why does it do that? I have a legal registered program. How do I get it to stop this?

I see that the initializing window opens when I switch to QUICK but when I switch back to GUIDED the Initializing bar is always somewhere in the middle and never moves to the end.

Mar 21, 2013New user to PSE11. Is it recommended that ALL photos be in albums or is the idea that photos in albums are a subset of the photos in folders? With all the sort and search functionality, I don't understand the benefit of albums.I name my image folders using a standard naming convention with the date embedded so it makes them rather easy to manage.
