Photoshop :: After Deleting 5 Default Patterns / Section Is Now Disabled
May 28, 2013Just installed Photoshop CS6. I deleted the default patterns and now I want to import my patterns.pat. I successfully imported it, however the patterns section is now disabled (gray). So I can't access my patterns! How can I enable the patterns again?

I just want to create a section from the point cloud, but the point cloud won't allow me to select it as an object in the 'Generate 2D/3D section' dialogue as it's not a solid/surface.
On an unrelated note, I find snapping to the point cloud impossible - is there an option in OSNAP that I'm missing? I've tried this with attached PCGs and RCP point clouds, no difference.

Feb 20, 2013I have lots of section views with some surfaces and pipes. Unfortunately, in a number of section views pipes are not shown in full height because the section view level range is too little. What I am wondering is - is it possible to automatically adjust section level ranges so that they fully include pipe sections? Please see also the image in the attachment.

May 21, 2012When i am creating section sheets from multiple section views ,section sheet  view port scale  changes.I did set it correctly in my template.
For example it changs from 1:150 to 1:150_1Â
Then in section sheets scetions views are not displaying correctly.
When i change view port scale manually it shows correctly.But it should do to all sheets.
What should I do?
In model spacr multiple section views are showing correctly.

I have existing sections.
I have section views.
I created a corridor.
How do I add the corridor section to my existing cross-section in the section views?
I can view them in the corridor section editor. But I should also be able to add the corridor section to my section views, right?
To plot them, do I NEED to do this through Sheets Sets? I don't have experience with sheet sets yet.
I don't use Civil 3D often enough anymore. Still learning much about the new interface and pulling a design together.
AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Corridor Section Editor Not Displaying A Section
Mar 8, 2012I've got a corridor where the section editor does not show a section that the corridor has created. Â My frequency is set to 25' with high/low points along curves. Â At station 22+75, in the model space the corridor shows a section being created (image #2). Â However, I cannot edit or even see that section in the section editor (image #1). Â The first screen shot shows the list of stations for the corridor in the editor while the second screenshot shows the model space at the problem station. Â This is in the middle of a region, so there shouldn't be any issues with other assemblies or regions.
In the section editor, Sta 22+74.91 is listed, skips 22+75, then lists 23+00. Â I am needing to manually adjust the cross slopes of my lanes. Â If I view the surface there is a weird dip because at station 22+75 the default slope of my lane is -2%. Â I cannot edit station 22+75, so I cannot adjust the cross slope of the lanes.
What is causing the section editor to not even recognize a section? Â How can I edit the cross slope at station 22+75 if the editor doesn't even display that section?

Nov 8, 2012I am having an issue when producing a section view with my corridor. Â I have a corridor and corridor surface, as well as an existing ground surface. Â I create a sample line group and sample EG, Corridor Surface, and Material. Â When I produce a section view I get 4 sections in the view: EG, Corridor Surface(with the corridor surface naming convention), and an additional section simply called "Corridor Surface".Â
This last section is strange in that it seems to be using the correct assembly, but not targeting the correct features. Â Also it has grips at all of the vertices which I havent seen before.
And the strangest part, when I click on properties for this section and go to section data, the columns for Description and Data Source are blank.
If there is no data source, then where is this section coming from, and why is it showing up when I did not specify that it be created. Â This is a real mind boggler to me and makes no sense. Â Screenshot attached.

Feb 17, 2006When I try to create a mask in photoshop CS, for some reason my picture starts to get deleted. In the picture below, I copied the background layer, and then deleted the background layer leaving me with just the copied layer. I clicked Add Layer Mask, and then clicked the Layer Mask Thumbnail in the Layers tab and then I clicked the Brush icon to begin making my mask.
In the next picture below, I tried to make my mask, but instead of that red color I normally get that show's where i'm masking, the picture is just erased.

Jul 21, 2009All of my files were backed up and easily transfered to my new computer. Today I was doing some cleanup and wanted to move or delete some older psd files. These were created in CS2 (I have CS3 now) and haven't been opened since getting my new computer. Windows will not allow me to delete, move or rename several of these files. It tells me that they are "open in another application" even when photoshop isn't even open. I have tried opening a couple of them in CS3 and then closing them to see if this changes their status but the result is the same. How can I change their "open" status, delete, move or rename them at this point.

Nov 21, 2008My production workflow involves about 20 PSDs that are updated on a weekly basis. Each PSD has 4 groups with new product images added every week. Every few weeks, to keep file size down, I like to delete all but the most recent product image. I'd like to automate this. I'm curious if this can be done without scripting? As is right now, each layer is given a distinct layer number - If I record an action to delete layers, it only deletes the layers with matching numbers... ie if I record the action to delete layer 147, layer 147 has to be present to make the action work.

Photoshop :: Deleting Merged 3D Elements
Dec 15, 2012how to delete layers/items from the 3D layers panel? Specifically, 3D layers that have been merged. I merged few 3D layers and need to remove some unwanted items that are left behind.

It would seem like a simple task but I've ended up with one 3D layer in my layers palet and a list of layers in my 3D palet that are all locked. Is this normal? Attached is a screenshot of both layers palets and my doc mode, just in case.
