I've just installed Paintshop Prox4 to a computer running Japanese Windows. It appears that it installed the Japanese language version. Is there any way to change the interface to English, as this would make it much easier to do things.
I'm using ID CC ME. Much of my work contains a Hebrew word or pharase within an English sentence. Using the standard method to switch to Hebrew in Windows 7 usually give me the Adobe Hebrew font (and I think sometimes Myriad Hebrew). Is there any way to predefine which Hebrew font will be used when making the switch when I want a different font used? I know I can (and do) set a character style for it, but then I must first switch to Hebrew, then type the word or phrase, then use the character style to change the font (it doesn't usually work if you set the character style before switching to Hebrew), then change the character style back for the rest of the text. What is the simplest way to get the Hebrew in the font I want?
I do not use Mental Ray at all. I am not interested in it. Ideally, I would uninstall all Mental Ray plugins but unfortunately, it seems Mental Ray classes are required by Substance.
I would love to have Preferences->mental ray-> Enable mental ray Extensions switched off by default. Unfortunately, I am unable to get this!
I have a MaxStart.max file with my basic VRay settings, VrayPhysicalCamera, Vray sun and sky system already in place. This is how I would like to start my each and every new Max scene. Unfortunately, regardless my settings, each time I restart Max, these bloody "mental ray extensions" are on again and again.
Is there any method to keep them off efficiently? So this does not return anymore?
I have a label type form that was created in CorelDraw 9 and now I am involved in a change to the document. I can open this form in Corel 9 no problem. When I try to open it in Corel X5 it says there are missing fonts. I have both programs on the same computer yet in X5 it can't find the fonts.
Some of the changes are adding things the where made in X5 and if I copy them into the original Corel 9 I can’t do anything with them, they are just there to look at.
I am trying to find the fonts from a free down load but all I see are 30 day trials.
In X5 I have tried to use the substitute fonts to find the correct fonts but they are not there.
What it wants are "Times New Roman CYL - Normal and Times New Roman CYL - Bold.
I'm trying to insert a parts list into an assembly drawing but whenever I do all of the descriptive fields (format, zone, item, part number, description, etc, etc) are all in Russian. I've looked on the wiki and it notes that some of this is expected, I just don't think it's correct that all of the above are in a different language.
I was wondering if it is standard behaviour for my PS CS6 subscription to require me to log in to Activate the license EVERY time I use it? I thought that one it was activated, PS only checks the Activation every 30 days. Once I log in the activation works fine, however if for any reason my internet connection was not available, it would seem that I would not be able to use my copy of PS.
I realize that that would happen even if the check was every 30 days, but that would only be a possible issue once a month, not every day!
I have a valid version of PS CS5 extended. My layer styles started to act up (which worked yesterday) so I uninstalled to reinstall it and now it wont work without a subscription?
I have windows 7 and cant afford the subscription AT ALL and I had a valid software that NO LONGER WORKS.
I have a subscription to Photoshop CS5.1 - I had to deactivate it and to download onto another pc.
The deactivation was done. When I tried a download the adobe site informed me that they no longer supported the platform that I was using (Vista). As version CS5.1 was originally purchased on this platform it would not be unreasonable to assume that the reinstallation would be required on the same platform.
I'm trying to install Adobe Photoshop CS5 on my laptop and every time, after installing the product and entering the serial number, the process fails and tells me 'We are unable to start your subscription for Adobe Photoshop CS5 Subscription Edition.'
It then asks me to relaunch the product and do the installation process again. I have tried this numerous times and it keeps saying the same thing.
The version of PS you get with a Creative Cloud subscription is Photoshop CS6 Extended, correct?
I just installed Photoshop via my new Creatve Cloud subscription. Before doing so, I decided NOT to unistall my aleady installed Creative Suite 6 software - this included Photoshop CS6 STANDARD.I didn't uninstall my CS6 because I wanted to avoid any possible downtime + the Creative Cloud thing is a whole new experience for me, I wasn't sure how it would work.
Why didn't my PS CS6 Standard upgrade into PS CS6 Extended when I updated it with the Creative Cloud installer? There was no option to install Photoshop via the newly redesigned Adobe Application Manager, just "update".
When I open Elements 7 on the left side it starts looking for subscription information but it never stops looking. I have to close the program and restart to get in. Thisd is extremely annoying. Why does it do that? I have a legal registered program. How do I get it to stop this?
I just recently (yesterday) became a member of the creative cloud. Now I am aware that my subscription (full individual subscription) allows me to use Photoshop CS6 Extended.
I previously had Photoshop CS6 Standard installed (my suspicion why it's not working properly) removed it and downloaded Photoshop via Application Manager, but it's still not the Extended version.
Also is there a way to keep the downloads because I'm constantly using photoshop at work (one of my main tools) and having to uninstalling and re downloading (which seems to take forever) is not the best solution.
I've been reading some of the discussions here regarding missing 3D menus and all the advices have been "if you have a beta or trial you need to upgrade" or "get the paid Creative Cloud version". I have the paid version and I still don't see it. I've seen it in the Panel Menus but don't have a clue as to how to make it visible. All the components under the 3D heading are supposed to be visible (all have "eyes" on them).
Is it my hardware then that's a problem? I've tried CS5 trial version and the 3D worked perfectly on this computer. I'm running on XP professional and a Dell machine that's about 4 years old.
All my Subscription Content is currently accessed via the Toolbox in Toolspace. Can this content be put on a Ribbon panel (under the Plug Ins tab for example as in screenshot) for ease of access?

I have received an email from AutoDesk that contained the following "You will no longer need to update ... - it will automatically be delivered as a software download."
your subscription preferences are "automatically" changed? Yes I will now need to update how the software is delivered because the people at AutoDesk have overridden my settings. Software companies must put their stupidest most arrogant people in their customer/marketing departments. In the case of AutoDesk I believe they outsource those departments to Dassault.
Expired Subscription - Inventor Hangs on startup screen.
I have Autodesk Inventor 2013 Design Suite. Everything has been working fine until my subscription ran out. Inventor has been hanging on the startup screen since then (this may just be a coincidence) most of the time it take between 15 minutes to 30 minutes to open. When it does open everything works fine.
