Photoshop :: CS5 Is Unable To Reinstall Without Subscription?
Nov 6, 2013
I have a valid version of PS CS5 extended. My layer styles started to act up (which worked yesterday) so I uninstalled to reinstall it and now it wont work without a subscription?
Â
I have windows 7 and cant afford the subscription AT ALL and I had a valid software that NO LONGER WORKS.
I am not able to reinstall photoshop cc. I have run the cleaner and restarted my computer but I am still getting an error message: Exit Code: 6 P.For example,Â
Payload: PDF Settings CC 12.0.0.0 {60EFC785-D926-447D-A079-C83D51ACD7EC} -----------Â ERROR: Error 1324.The path My Documents contains an invalid character.Â
ERROR: Install MSI payload failed with error: 1603 - Fatal error during installation. MSI Error message: Error 1324.The path My Documents contains an invalid character. ERROR: Third party payload installer AdobePDFSettings12-mul.msi failed with exit code: 1603 .
I've been trying for the last week to reload my registered copies of PS CS3, AE CS4 DW CS4, FL CS4 without success. My Mac Pro recently crashed.Â
I used my Lion backup thumb to restore from time machine but the Adobe products all came up with the error message: "required resources missing". I am unable to either uninstall or reinstall the software. I've been on the India phone with support, posted here and on Creative Cow.Â
My computer had to be reformatted and I need to reinstall elements10. I have the key. I tried using Pro Design Tools but when I click on file 1 or file 2 I get a Access denied message.Â
I uninstalled VS Pro X4 about five times and each time re-installed it (in order to clean out any duplicate files of VS Pro X4 that may have been the cause of a crash-on-startup that always happened when I changed the name of the user account). I uninstalled VS Pro again but afterwards the installation wizard of the installer did not work. So now I don't have VS Pro X4 on my computer any more! Secondly, if there is a maximum limit to the number of times the installer works, is there some way to get a new installer or just get one more installation?
I have used the X6 graphics suite for some time now and have always installed updates when notified. A couple of days ago I was notified of the latest update which I duly installed.
Thereafter I was unable to open Coreldraw. I was unable to resolve the issue by reverting to a previous versions from as few days previous. I have done this by using the usual windows uninstall facility.
However, when I try to reinstall the X6 suite from the CD I get an error message that says "A newer version of this program is installed. Delete this first before you install this version" (or words to that effect).
Clearly there is something that indicates a later version is installed but I cant find out why I am getting this message. I have endeavoured to delete everything I find associated with X6 but after rebooting I still can't reinstall the software.
Please find the attached "Error Message.jpg" file.I am getting that Error Message while trying to Uninstall "CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6" on a Windows XP Desktop Computer. This Computer belongs to other person. I am getting the same Error Message upon trying to Re-Install CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6.How do I successfully Uninstall and Re-Install?
I was wondering if it is standard behaviour for my PS CS6 subscription to require me to log in to Activate the license EVERY time I use it? I thought that one it was activated, PS only checks the Activation every 30 days. Once I log in the activation works fine, however if for any reason my internet connection was not available, it would seem that I would not be able to use my copy of PS. Â I realize that that would happen even if the check was every 30 days, but that would only be a possible issue once a month, not every day!
I have a subscription to Photoshop CS5.1 - I had to deactivate it and to download onto another pc.  The deactivation was done. When I tried a download the adobe site informed me that they no longer supported the platform that I was using (Vista). As version CS5.1 was originally purchased on this platform it would not be unreasonable to assume that the reinstallation would be required on the same platform.
I'm trying to install Adobe Photoshop CS5 on my laptop and every time, after installing the product and entering the serial number, the process fails and tells me 'We are unable to start your subscription for Adobe Photoshop CS5 Subscription Edition.' Â It then asks me to relaunch the product and do the installation process again. I have tried this numerous times and it keeps saying the same thing.
The version of PS you get with a Creative Cloud subscription is Photoshop CS6 Extended, correct? Â I just installed Photoshop via my new Creatve Cloud subscription. Before doing so, I decided NOT to unistall my aleady installed Creative Suite 6 software - this included Photoshop CS6 STANDARD.I didn't uninstall my CS6 because I wanted to avoid any possible downtime + the Creative Cloud thing is a whole new experience for me, I wasn't sure how it would work. Â Why didn't my PS CS6 Standard upgrade into PS CS6 Extended when I updated it with the Creative Cloud installer? There was no option to install Photoshop via the newly redesigned Adobe Application Manager, just "update".
When I open Elements 7 on the left side it starts looking for subscription information but it never stops looking. I have to close the program and restart to get in. Thisd is extremely annoying. Why does it do that? I have a legal registered program. How do I get it to stop this?
I just recently (yesterday) became a member of the creative cloud. Now I am aware that my subscription (full individual subscription) allows me to use Photoshop CS6 Extended. Â I previously had Photoshop CS6 Standard installed (my suspicion why it's not working properly) removed it and downloaded Photoshop via Application Manager, but it's still not the Extended version. Â Also is there a way to keep the downloads because I'm constantly using photoshop at work (one of my main tools) and having to uninstalling and re downloading (which seems to take forever) is not the best solution. Â OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
I've been reading some of the discussions here regarding missing 3D menus and all the advices have been "if you have a beta or trial you need to upgrade" or "get the paid Creative Cloud version". I have the paid version and I still don't see it. I've seen it in the Panel Menus but don't have a clue as to how to make it visible. All the components under the 3D heading are supposed to be visible (all have "eyes" on them). Â Is it my hardware then that's a problem? I've tried CS5 trial version and the 3D worked perfectly on this computer. I'm running on XP professional and a Dell machine that's about 4 years old.
All my Subscription Content is currently accessed via the Toolbox in Toolspace. Can this content be put on a Ribbon panel (under the Plug Ins tab for example as in screenshot) for ease of access?

I have received an email from AutoDesk that contained the following "You will no longer need to update ... - it will automatically be delivered as a software download."
your subscription preferences are "automatically" changed? Yes I will now need to update how the software is delivered because the people at AutoDesk have overridden my settings. Software companies must put their stupidest most arrogant people in their customer/marketing departments. In the case of AutoDesk I believe they outsource those departments to Dassault.
Expired Subscription - Inventor Hangs on startup screen.
I have Autodesk Inventor 2013 Design Suite. Everything has been working fine until my subscription ran out. Inventor has been hanging on the startup screen since then (this may just be a coincidence) most of the time it take between 15 minutes to 30 minutes to open. When it does open everything works fine.
I recently downloaded Photoshop CC, but there is a fault with Generator that has persisted, so I have to reinstall the application.  First question: do I have to uninstall the application first?  Second question: do I just then redownload it?  Third question: or is there an option just to reinstall?  By the way, adobe - this is a bummer - it takes ages to download. I hope that this isn't a recurrent theme...
I am having trouble with PS cs3 and want to reilnstall it or rather change some settingsi go to control panel selet add remove softwareselect change for adobe cs3 premium and nothing happens ...
I have run into a small problem. I had to re-image a portion of my laptop, due to some "illigal actions" that caused some of my windows files to become corrupt/lost/damaged/unable to work. In that, I lost the regestry key (or whatever it is) for Photoshop, that is installed on another drive.
Is there a way to "recover" the regestry files without reinstalling everything?? I have all the instalation stuff on hand (or i can find them with very little searching), so thats not the issue. I had some problems with my computer actually accepting the CD at times when i installed the first time, so im trying to avoid that a second time.
I recently had to carry out a system restore following which when I tried to use my PS3 suite a window came up saying I could not use it and I must uninstall and then reinstall PS3. I am not the best with computers but that seemed quite simple to do however, I did not realize that I should have de-activated my PS3 before uninstallation so I just did a straight uninstall through the control panel. Now, when I try to reinstall I just get the following messsage - Errors 3 componentsAdobe Creative Suite 3 Design standard - Component install failedAdobe Photoshop CS3 - Component install failedShared components - Component install failed I assume that there must be stuff left on the computer following the uninstall that is causing this problem but I just don't know where to start or what to do to remove it. Can anyone help me with this bearing in mind that I am not that good with computers?
I'm on an HP laptop - Win XP Home Edition - 1 gb RAM, plenty of space.
So, after major, continuous crashing in Photoshop CS3, I decided to see if CS4 would work ok. It was nice, but I let the trial expire and decided to continue to see if 3 would get in gear.
I removed the trial software (i thought)
Today, I uninstalled CS3, so I could reinstall the whole thing rather than repairing it. It won't reinstall because the CS4 files have been moved.
is there some way to completely wipe out all reference to 4?
