Photoshop :: Create Web Gallery Which Generates Watermarked Images In CC?
Jun 29, 2013
Adobe informed me that web gallery creation is no longer available in Bridge CC. I was told to download Lightroom for this capability. When I tried to do that, I was told that my operating system 10.6.8 is not compatible. I use 10.6.8 to use third party software. Will Adobe return this feature to Bridge?
If so, add a watermark feature (such as the one that Dr. Russell Brown created for CS6) Also, include more html5 galleries or galleries that will appear on multiple kinds of devices.
I exported LR3 edited files as web files with a watermark on them. However, I can't seem to find the edited un-watermarked images in the Library, ony the original unedited RAW files and the watermarked web files. I need the edited files prior to my exporting them as watermarked web files.
I love LRs ability to create great watermarks. Only thing, they seem to come out (from DNGs) at about 3 mb apiece (quality setting at 79) - super large. So I clicked the box to limit file size, and I chose 300k (for web), and it says "could not create a jpeg that met your limit".
Is there a way to shut off the automated new "images" folder Illustrator generates when Saving for Web with slices? I have image folders inside image folders inside image folders. I can't seem to find a preference to turn this feature off. I am using Illustrator CC on a Mac running OS 10.8.4
C3D2012. We have a master C3D template that includes a number of point filters (let say 20 of them) and a number of layouts (again, let say 20 of them) to accommodate our two sheet sizes.
Here is the issue that I am running into, when the Plan Production tools use a layout to create plan and profile sheets from the same master template that is used to initially create the file, the whole process will duplicate each point group 150 times for every group (see attached). So, what I ended up with is 20 point groups X 150. In my example, I ended up with 3000 duplicate point groups.
The end result is a file that is somewhat unusable do to the number of point groups. The other issue is now that all of these point groups are in the file you are unable to delete them all at once without "crashing" C3D. So you are left to deleting a handful at time. It is also best if you turn UNDO off while you do it.
I have been able to duplicate this in multiple files; however, from the same master template. As a test I did create separate templates (which are pretty bare bones) for the plan production and all works well. Therefore, there is either an issue with C3D and Plan Production and point groups or it is our template.
I would really like to nail down (as best I can) what is generating the 150 duplicates/ point group name to see if there is a way "around" this.
Currently, I am unable to share the template, but it shouldn't be too difficult to re-create. Take any template, add some point groups to, add a plan and profile sheet to one of the layouts, create a new file from this template, finally create plan and profile sheets from the layout in the very same template.
In CS2, when you use the Web Photo Gallery from Bridge Photoshop tools, Is there any way to make the thumbnails and the larger images so that they cannot be "saved as" on someones computer and then printed?
Do I have to upgrade to Elements 11 in order to add additional images to my gallery that was moved to Adobe Revel? I'm currently running Elements 10 and my new images don't seem to be uploading.
In previous versions of Photoshop I go to "file", "automate", and create a web photo gallery. That option is not available in Photoshop CC. Tutorials online teach how to create this through Bridge but I can't seem to find it there either.
In previous versions of Elements, I was able to create a web photo gallery which created thumbnails and web pages, and the folders within those files were contained...... how do I do that in Elements 10?
I am using Elements 11. I can get the watermark on the photo but there is no: save, enter, submit or anything. Needless to say it doesn't get saved in the new watermarked file. I have also watermarked a single photo and set it to be added to all the files i selected, but the only photo that end up with it in the new file is the one i watermarked.
Using Win7 64bit + PS CS6 64 bit ext on a 16GB PC. In which folder do I find the web gallery templates for Bridge CS6? Is there info available on how the programming/ configuration works with the info passed by Bridge - filename, contact info, copyrights, description/title, email, etc.
I've had a great time using the Web Photo Galleries in Photoshop CS and CS2, especially since I'm fairly deft with HTML and a total Flash dunce, so the Web Photo Gallery Flash 1 and Flash 2 templates have served me well and allowed me to make fun Flash stuff without having to learn. But, with learn-by-doing, there often comes a point of confusion, and I think I've found mine.
I noticed that (when using the gallery "Flash 1"), if I click the little ? in the bottom right, the file name will come on and stay on throughout all the pictures. This is exactly what I want since that's where I do all my captioning and it really adds something for me to be able to see that. My question: how in the world do I get it to do this by default? I'm always telling friends/family, "oh, click the little ? in the bottom right and it'll show the captions," but am certain there must be some way to do this by default.
I fiddled in the galleryconfig.xml file, but there's only this line
HTML Code: <var symboltype="boolean" name="showHelpButton" value="true" /> which actually just tells the button to be displayed, but not for the thing that happens as a result of pushing the button to stay displayed.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 12: I need to create a Web Photo Gallery so I can upload thumbnails and full-size pictures to my own website. No Facebook, Flickr, Adobe Revel etc.
Presently, all of my images are stored on windows photo gallery. I have them organized into folders& subfolders. would the same folders and sub folders be exported into lrm as labeled. I know you do this under import mode and add from others. Would it behove me to make sure all of my gallery folders are properly labeled tagged etc. before i do this transfer. When i do the transfer can i rename the folders,re-tag them etc.
I want to put my picture in a frame. The frame should be such that the image is wrapped around the entire frame(including top, bottom, left and right side). In technical terms I believe it is called as 'gallery wrap'. You can find an example of this frame in this link
I would like to create a gallery with Lightroom and publish it to my website. I would like for visitors to be able to click on a thumbnail to download a med resolution file of the image. Can this be done? I am using LR4.
I have full app access and am hoping one of the CC programs will do what I want. I currently use Crash Plan+ to back up all my pic/vid files. I have no complaints except when I want to use restore I can only see file type/name but not a preview. So its hit and miss when trying to restore a generic file name photo/vid. My question is, is there an Adobe CC product that I can use to generate separate thumbnails that I can generate and save to a file that has all the files in a given folder. That way I can just restore the thumbnail file for that folder and see what files are in it with preview pics and find which files on the CrashPlan+ restore console to download. That way I can restore a much smaller file with views of all pics vs having to restore a whole folder of 25+mb files just to find the one I want.
have never discovered an answer to this one. currently using LR4 and have previously used LR2 and 3 with the same issue.
my PP workflow is essensially for the web, so I save images at 72ppi for web viewing and yet when I create a web gallery with LR it converts each image to a print resolution of 240dpi.
that's right. changes from ppi to dpi. go figure.
even if ppi (points per inch) is exactly the same as dpi (dots per inch), why the heck is LR making the change and how can I prevent that change from occuring?
I have created a media pack application but need to find a way for users save some images to disc from within the application? The images are in a gallery and I want to avoid opening another browser window and using the R click > save image as.
I have created a simple animation with 6 frames in the gallery. I want to link each individual frame to different websites. So, as the animation on the site is changing, you can click on one frame, and it takes you to one site, or you click on the next frame and it takes you to another site.
I would like to be able to create an extremely simple image gallery using Ligtroom 5.3.
All attempts to use "Web" module prove to be quite oversophisticated. Here is my point:
1) I have let's say 15 images selected and ready to export (OK)
2) I would like to export these files to ftp to a prespecified directory (OK)
3) I would like lightroom to get me a ready to use html file which will contain all full-size images with descriptions below the pictures (no links to intermediary pictures)
This would simpify 1000 times my workflow with updating pictures to FTP and then adding some text to publish it on my blog.
I even bought LR/Blog plugin, but it doesn't do the trick - even though I can freely generete html code, it keeps applying some weird prefixes to filenames and is not that universal in general
Is there a method to move gallery tabs so that Page & Layer Gallery tab is first in line (at the top) of docked gallery tabs at the right of the screen? I can move gallery tabs, but cannot make Page & Layer gallery tab move to the top.
The color space on the selected images appears to be changing when I use the Lightroom flash gallery in the web module of LR4.1. This stays the same when the gallery is uploaded. In previous version of LR I have seen color changes in the web module but they have been corrected (and correct) when the gallery is uploaded to the 'net.
I have read that this was (previously) a problem with the flash gallery specifically becuase it was not colour magaded, but I understood that this had been corrected for LR4. As far as my use is concerned it's actually more problematic now than it has been previously.
I have been working on some drawings when I linked up to a database that I had recently generated. I wanted to link some polylines to an external MS Access database so that I would have the additional object data available in the drawing. I attached the Access database, then created a link template on the key field (key field is called PipeID). I then used the "mapod2ase" command to generate the links based on the link template. However, when I went into the object properties to check on the data, the only field that came up under the link was the key field (PipeID). I have tried re-linking a number of times, but each time I only get the key field in the object data. I can open the table itself from the task pane, and it shows all of the fields, and the links work because the highlighting feature works as normal, but the data is not showing up in the properties.
I was thinking that I may have reset some sort of system variable on accident, so I made the same sort of link to an older table that I have used before. When I link to this table, all of the linked data shows up in the object properties. The only real difference between the two access databases is that the one that works was made in Access 2000, and the one that is not working was made in Access 2007. Is there some sort of problem when linking to the newer versions of Access? (see this post:[URL]
