I am trying to recreate the following pic below, I am not sure how to do the effect of the User Interfaces (UI) which around he guy? Can anyone help? I need to know how to achive the filp on the side of the UI.

The next day I wanted to put the same effects on a new picture, but I could not remember the effects I used on the first pic. I clicked on many effects in the palette and just couldn't find the same ones as the first pic. I want to use them again.

Basically I'd like to draw a river and add samples of a real picture of a river, like rocks from the river, etc.
I have a picture that was edited by someone else, what I need to know is, how do I remove the effects he put on the picture?
Apparently he wrote (using an editor) something on the background, then using an editor, covered it up with and effect. I need to see what he wrote before covering it up.

So, I'm currently making a 3 minute news film at school, and am trying to add a picture into a video, so at the beginning of the news, I want to add a picture either right up or left up corner of the video something like this...

and, additionally, is there a way to make it look like when transitioning the screen, the picture would magnify and fill up the screen.and the film begins
so in the example, the bread/snack picture would enlarge, fillup the screen and another video would resume.
i play a video editor in my next movie and i'm a complete fail at after effects.
i have this intro i'm working on and it's a preset file.
There is a word that comes flying in with effects and stuff, and i would like to change the text into a picture.
so that the jpeg picture flies around with the same effect as the word. but i got no clue how to do it.
from last two days, i am unable to see the effects after exporting the picture.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a .psd picture of a tank and try to animate it in AE by rotating its wheels and tread (or track?). The only solution i have come up with is to slightly change tread layer's x and y positions in every frame, making it to vibrate. However it does not create rotation illusion which i'm after - the tread vibrates, but doeas not revolves around the wheels. If there are other solutions to make tread layer rotate around tank's wheels, i would be glad to hear about them. All 7 tank's wheels are separate layers and the tread layer is above them. The rest of the tank's layer is above tread layer

View 9 Replies View RelatedAm using Photoshop CS5.1, Simply want to create a single picture (file) that has a "built-in" mat around it. Seems like all that's needed is a box in background (color it as a mat), then put the picture on top.
Problem is, when I go to size (or crop) the picture, it changes the size of the mat and Canvas Size. "Really" want the Canvas Size to STAY 16in x 20in, just makes it easier so can SEE and adjust (move, crop, slide arund) the picture to be 13in x 17in in the center or whereever. After all done, will save as jpg, so can view/print easily.
Just tried to automate a batch and resize, and then save for web all of the pictures - it didn't work the way I wanted (probably recorded something wrong). But When I tried to rerecord the action - it became impossible to change size of the pictures. I already restarted my computer, but the function of size changing still isn't working.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to algorithmically create (no painting or brushes) Nebulae / Wispy Clouds effects in Photoshop. Random clouds and Difference Clouds filters can certainly create interesting patterns, but they are miles away from authentically looking clouds or nebulae.
On the other hand several fractal generators can do the trick - and XenoDream and Apohysis in particular can create photo-realistic nebulae and clouds, but doing it straight in Photoshop would be a good skill to have.

I do the following - Go to Quick Mask(Press 'Q') --> Select Gradient (Press 'G') --> Then I draw a vertical line to define the focus area. Usually a relatively darker red color used to appear as a band. But suddenly I see a very vague red color. And when I exit Quick Mask (Press 'Q') again the marching ants selects the entire picture and not the focus and blur areas.

Using Red Giant Psunami for creating the water simulation is OK. But psunami doesn't support foam so it is not that realistic. Some plugins combination maby that can provide the foam effect?
