Is it possible to make a series of text columns in Photoshop? I need to create 3 columns with a list of words in each column and then place a checkmark image next to each word/phrase. I know it's more of a word processing thing but is it possible in Photoshop? I'm using version 7.0 BTW.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe thumbnails in my Organizer are slow to load, and if I move the slider bar to the left to show more thumbnails they are replaced with the hourglass, and the comment 'building thumbnails' appears bottom left. The thumbnails do not reappear unless I increase the size to five columns or less.
I have disabled media analysis in preferences; I have run a repair on the catalogue; I have selected all the photos and selected 'update thumbnail'. None of this has worked.
I am running PE9 on a Mac, and have about 20,000 photos in my catalogue.

The Slice tool in CS6 Photoshop will not "obey" my request for number of rows and columns, or pixel values for rows and columns.I use the Slice tool in Photoshop to prepare small square images for use in a mosaic creation application. The squares are 64x64 or 32x32 pixels.I crop my image to a multiple of 64 or 32 pixels on each side and right click with the slice tool.I have a hard time getting the slice tool to generate more than 10 rows horizontal and vertical. For example if I have an i age 1280x1280 pixels and try to get a division of 20 rows and 20 columns, I end up with columns 256 pixels and rows of 64 pixels.I can try entering number of rows and columns numerically or specify pixel values in the row and column, but either approach will not give me the square slices I ask for.

In MS Word I can have some text that is all in one full width column, then put in a break and have a later section in multiple columns, then a break and go back to one column.
I want to do something similar in ACAD.

Is there a way to separate sections, or do I need to make the "GENERAL CONDITIONS" part a separate mtext object?

If not this form will be off the monitor.
I created a couple of files and saved each in SHP and SDF file formats. The only problem I am having is that when I reconnect to these files (in a different autocad file) using FDO and viewing the Data Table the columns are all displayed in alphabetical order, not the order in which they were orginally created.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe attached schedule is all good except that I want to get a total for the columns Duplex, Duplex GFI, Fourplex and Simplex. The schedule only shows the (1) column at the moment Duplex Total created as an additional paramter with calculated totals in the project. I am trying to link that to the Duplex column etc...,
Please note that those columns Duplex, Duplex GFI, Fourplex, and Simplex are graphical yes/no paramters for my all in one outlet family created using the annotation symbols separatey loaded in a 3d wall hosted electrical family then turned off and on accordingly.
It's all working nicely expect that the different heights are counting separately, when I want a total of just Duplex's, Simplex's and so forth.
I've been trying to use graph tool in Illustrator CS6 (I have Creative Cloud..) but having some issues when changing the design of columns. I'll create a design for a certain set of columns, but when I try to use the design in the graph itself they disappear completely. The data still shows in the data menu, but no bars! And its not on all the bars, usually just one set. I've tried reentering the data and also recreating the column design and nothing seems to be working..I keep having to restart graphs and having the same issue.

I want the column to be on the left. I've done this 'before and I thought the variable was available in the properties bar but I can't find how to do this anymore.

I'm doing a revision rearrangement and would like to add to the BOM New, Existing, and Relocated properties. The problem is that each individual component may be unique. Ie. I have a desk w/ 3 identical monitors. One monitor is existing and the others are new. I'd like to have the BOM show that I have 3 monitors, 2 are new and 1 is existing. The BOM would have 4 columns, one for the total number of parts and 3 for the New, Existing, and Relocated counts.
I don't mind if the new columns need to be manually updated.
I'm modelling columns in-place. I have given the first one a Type Mark name but when i copy it the Type Name does not copy with it and the count in my schedule remains at 1.
Due to the shape of the member i had to model it as an in-place family.
I've used the attached code to set the number of colu9mns and rows in a table adn it works with all my tests.
However I also receive the warnings:
"Public overridable property NumRows() As Integer is obsolete. Use 'Table.Rows.Count' instead"
and
"Public overridable property NumColumns() As Integer is obsolete. Use 'Table.Columns.Count' instead"
Dim tb As New Table() tb.NumRows = 6 tb.NumColumns = 3
Both the Rows and Column Count property are Read only.
The beam is continuous. The connection details are not important. They're some kind of plate welded to the beam and bolted through the column web. I don't need it to be able to do structural calculations.
Join won't select a structural column or beam. Align creates a rotation error because of the beam's pitch. The column height appears to only change by the Level, but again the beam is pitched. Setting the height above the beam breaks the beam.

When splitting a schedule, the title of the schedule shows up above each of the columns created. Is there a way of having it so that when you slit a schedule in multiple columns, the title centeres over the entire view and shows itself only once instead of once over each column?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to add beams to a layout of columns and some of them (not all) are behaving oddly. Instead of the beam trimming square at the side of the columns, the column and beam are joining with a mitered connection. The same is happening with some of the intersecting beams...a 45 degree miter on each beam.
There must be some setting that I have inadvertantly changed but I cannot find what it is. Changing trimming parameters in the Properties panel that seem like they should be involved, has no effect. And neither does cycling, via the Control key, the connection parameter when the beams are placed.
I use the Corel Draw table tool regularly and since upgrading to SP1 the tool no longer works. I can create a table but cannot add rows, columns or even import tables from MS Word. All functionality has gone.
I am also running a machine with X6 without SP1 and the table tool works fine so what I have to do is create the tool in X6 and then it works fine in X6 SP1.
Also noting that the upgrade has not fixed the instability on the 64Bit version as every time I select an object to move it Corel crashes.
When I create a shape, be it a rectangle or a polygon and choose (right click) "Frame Type">Create Empty Text Frame" and select 2 columns from the "Column settings" dialogue box, the columns are never the same size! Is it me, my computer, or a bug?

Example: I have one column of 60 names (number will vary of course) and would like to split that single column up into 4 columns of names or maybe 3 columns would look better or maybe 5 columns.
Is there a macro that would let me enter a number of columns and have it automatically break that single column into whatever number of columns I entered?
Is there any way that values in BOM columns would automatically change depending on the characteristics of the part?
Example:
I have a parametric metal rod that depending on its length has a different part number assigned to it in our company's catalog.
When I change its length in parametric assembly (50" rod is has different number than 70" rod) I want the part number to change as well in the "part number" column.
I created a table in AutoCAD map3d 2010, merged 3 columns and added it to my tool pallete but, when i drag the table again from tool palette and place in drawing, merge between columns are missing in the table, they looks like seperate columns.
