I have a free trial version of Adobe Photoshop CS2 and for some unknown reason when I open a PDF file Photoshop is reading it as a Bitmap Image and when I go to save it as a JPEG it will not let me.

Also I want to change pix size and resolution. If so how do I do it?? I know it can be done on Elements, if I can do it on that then there must be a way to do it on cs5.

I've read online that I may have success if I download software called Image Converter Plus. Should I go that route or will today's Adobe Photoshop software convert them? I currently do not own any of the Adobe products.

I tried using the magnetic lassoo tool but it didnty come out all that good. I remember when i used to use Paitshop pro you could choose a colour in an image that you would like to make transparent. If I now save in a jpeg or png format the resulting image is much lighter
and appears to have white speckles.
I then thought I'd try the save for web option and to my suprise I find that
on that screen my Original is not displayed as in my PS main screen but
rather as the pasty looking image I see after exporting.

The problem is, when I create the action, the first step, when I open the PDF file, whatever name was in the name box, is it??? Every new PDF opens with that same name and overrides the next one.
Is there a way to tell Photoshop to pick the current name of the file opening and not use the one that was the original file that the action was created from?

I read that any corrections made of a RAW picture in Lightroom 4 must be very minimal (almost no correction for saturation, vibrace, exposure, and sharpening, noise etc.).
In this case it would mean that Lightroom is of no use and whay not use directly Photoshop CS6 to convert the RAW photo into a high quality JPEG. If this is true, what are the best settings in CS6 to convert a RAW photo into a JPEG format ?
In elements 10 i used to be able to convert multiple .nef files to various jpeg resolutions at one time by using "process multiple files" under the file heading. When i try to do this inelements 11, that option is unavailable (unhighlighted). How do i do this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using PSE9 and just put it on our new Mac 10.8.2 from windows 7. It runs fine but things aren't quite the same. On windows if I wanted to covnert a RAW file to jpg and was in the organiser I just clicked on file, save, and selected jpg and could choose mulitple photos easily. On the mac when I am in the organiser and click on file there is no save button....is it hiding. I can do them one at a time when I'm in edit but that is a very long way about doing it. Is there an easy way to select lots of photos in the organizer and convert them to jpg from RAW?

Supose I would like to convert my RAW files to JPEG (not export them!) in Lightroom, so that the RAW files would get replaced by the JPEG files, but keeping the whole history of adjustments once made to the RAW files on the develop panel.
