Oct 20, 2012In elements 10 i used to be able to convert multiple .nef files to various jpeg resolutions at one time by using "process multiple files" under the file heading. When i try to do this inelements 11, that option is unavailable (unhighlighted). How do i do this?

May 29, 2012Years ago I scanned old family photos using Adobe Photoshop and saved them as pdf files. Now I don't have the software to open them. I've read online that I may have success if I download software called Image Converter Plus. Should I go that route or will today's Adobe Photoshop software convert them? I currently do not own any of the Adobe products.

Dec 1, 2012I am using PSE9 and just put it on our new Mac 10.8.2 from windows 7. It runs fine but things aren't quite the same. On windows if I wanted to covnert a RAW file to jpg and was in the organiser I just clicked on file, save, and selected jpg and could choose mulitple photos easily. On the mac when I am in the organiser and click on file there is no save button....is it hiding. I can do them one at a time when I'm in edit but that is a very long way about doing it. Is there an easy way to select lots of photos in the organizer and convert them to jpg from RAW?

When I open a single file and "Save as" JPEG-2000 with the lossless option checked, the result is truly lossless. But when I record this as an Action and then Automate/Batch this action, the output is not saved as lossless.

Oct 13, 2012I shoot in RAW but for some strange reason Elements 10 has started to convert the files to JPEG. For example, if I open the file in iPhoto the file extension is shown as RAW. If I then import the file into Elements Organizer and then subsequently try to edit that file it shows the file extension as JPEG! Previously a RAW file would automatically open for editing in Camera Raw so I have clearly altered something somewhere!
