View 1 Replies View RelatedOriginally was using Vs10 when most of my discs would only get to 58% and go no further, threw away many discs thinking they were the problem. Have now upgraded to VS11.
The solution is to get hold of a small (free) utility called FixVTS from here: [URL]
After some fooling around with LR4, I went out and bought Martin Evenings PSLR4 'book', did some read and started looking for a photo to play with...
I discovered that all of the photos on my usb hard drive were either write protected or the image type was not supported-they're all .jpg. I had done some Copyright stuff on a few photos the day before...fooled around with import and export and some other exploring.
I am building a standalone VB app to edit block attribute values. It works fine until I try to save the drawing(s) and ACAD give this message.
By the way. Only happens when I try to save it from VB. In ACAD I can open and save fine.
I am getting some unknow error in autccad and error details are as below

I'd like to format the memory stick that Inventor was shipped on. (Don't need it anymore) But when I tried to format the stick I got a error "The disk is write protected". Is it not possible to format the disk? I rather reuse it than throw it in the thrash..
View 9 Replies View RelatedI get this error "sometimes". It really doesn't seem to have any pattern, i run the calculation several times, it always stops at different point or it finishes successfully.
only connection is the method. It's always at Autodesk.AutoCAD.DatabaseServices.Entity.IntersectWith(Entity entityPointer, Intersect intersectType, Point3dCollection points, IntPtr thisGraphicSystemMarker, IntPtr otherGraphicSystemMarker)

i install autodesk remote to try it out from home. when i went to my office to the actual work station i rebooted my machine and now im getting a popup box that says my menu file is write protected. i uninstalled the file, and rebooted my machine and im still getting this warning that my menu is write protected,. no other work station is getting this error, the menu file is a shared file running off a network and no other versions exists on my hard drive.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am currently using Civil 3D 2013, and when I do a qsave, my drawing gives me the following error dialogue box.
"Drawing File is Write Protected" - I am the only on in the files, so now my file is currently Read Only - then I am able to re-open the same file as the same time I have the currently read only version open.
I am getting this currently after or during Plan Production, creating sheets, and I do a qsave.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThe Photoshop CS liquify tool is different from the Photoshop 7 liquify tool, in that it's extremely touchy. Changing the brush pressure (like in Photoshop 7) does not tone down the effect for Photoshop CS. I can not even begin to approach the precision I had with Photoshop 7, while using CS.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to make the cursor in the liquify tool be a little thinner and loose the cross hairs? I am having accuracy issues and if I could see more of what I am moving it would work. I an using and Intous 3 tablet but also have the same issue with the mouse.
I have tried zooming in but that does not seem to work when trying to adjust very small areas. If the cursor cannot be changed, any tips or tricks?
Also the size adjustment for the cursor is does not appear to be linear and increases or decreases in size in very large jumps especially when using the slider but also with the [ and ] keys.
When I try to use the liquify tool on a layer that I'm working on, it only shows the layer in this blueish color and I can't see what I'm doing until I hit the "ok" button.

Essentially when I open up the liquify tool, even if I just press cancel, Photoshop will just freeze and I have to kill the process manually. I suspect it is a video card issue, so I checked and ensure the laptop is using the latest driver. Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family (driver version: 8.15.10.2869, ig4icd64.dll)
Since I am already running the latest driver, what else can I do to rectify this problem?
Liquify doesn't work at all. It literally does nothing no matter what settings I try! I have a mac, all of my software is updated..The brush pressure option is locked and it is set to 1?

When I try to use the liquify tool, first the image is upside down when loaded into the box. Then when I try to liquify and move it shows the move how it should be if the picture was in the right position.
Ex. I'm trying to mess with someones face and it puts their shirt in the face area because it should be the other way around. I tried to rotate the image and it still doesn't work.
I have adobe photoshop elements, and im getting more experienced with it, trying new things. I want to know, is it possible to magnify an image in the liquify tool so that i can manipulate it with more detail? Is there any way to make an image bigger in the liquify tool?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI updated my PS to 13.03. I saw an Adobe video saying now Liquify Tool can have a smart filter so I want to give it a try. I couldn't get my Smart Filter working for Liquify Tool.
I converted my RGB image to Smart Filter under Filter menu. I then tried to choose Liquify Tool but this option is disabled. Is my version 13.03 still not up-to-dated.
Im giving an example with a random picture.

This did not happen with CS5 or with the Beta version of CS6. I have an integrated graphics card (Intel(R) G45/G43 Express Chipset, and 6 GB RAM).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just started using CS6 and there is no freeze option in the liquify tool.Am I missing something?
View 2 Replies View RelatedPhotoshop crashes every time I try to use the Liquify tool. Fairly problematic. I should have the latest drivers, which eliminates what might otherwise be the most likely cause. This happened during beta as well, but I chalked it up to it being a beta version. Did not happen with CS5.5 or previous.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have an image open and try to use the liquify tool in filters. It opens and then after attempting to use the tool, It freezes completely. Cant even get out of it or close it at all.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI used the liquify tool on a selected area of a picture and it worked fine. Well, now when I select my area and try to use it, it just slightly warps the area and does nothing else. The liquify screen and options never come up. I think it's just repeating what I did in liquify the last time I used it instead of giving me the option to do what I need to do. It just won't let me do ANYTHING with the tool other than the warping(what I think is the "repeating" of the previous uses effects) everything else in photoshop is working fine for me, this is the only problem I'm having. Before this, it would just crash when I tried to open liquify but I fixed that by changing the video codecs/plugins to the ones that work with it so that is no longer a problem, it doesn't freeze or anything. So why is it just repeating what I did last time?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhat is the equivalent of the liquify filter and freeze tool? if we use other software like paint shop pro which has no liquefy filter, so can we download it separately.
