I'm running a trial version of Photoshop CS6 Extended and can't find the WYSIWYG plug-in for my Matrox device which I think I should be able to access via File>Export.
I've reinstalled the drivers for my device so it shouldn't be that.Could it be that this feature isn't supported in trial versions?
Halfway installing PSP Prox4 from my disc or via the web, error message comes up: "The system can not find the device specified" and "Your system has not been modified".I have the latest drivers and DirectX installed.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHaving a colour profile for your image file is great. It makes your image more colorful, however there is a problem and the problem is you can't get what you see on screen when you save it to another file and view it in another program.
Sometimes I have to printscreen the file in Photoshop WITH the color profile and paste it into a new document... I don't mind doing this for small images but when I'm designing a layout for a website and I like the colors the way it is, I want to save it as it is WITHOUT the color profile being embedded into my image.
Does any one know where I can Find the Photoshop CC ScriptingListener Plugin? I have CS6 but I need CC . It's a new Version and I feel its probably not a good Idea to use the old version(CS6).
View 5 Replies View RelatedI checked exchange in PS CC and could not find either the russell brown watercolor or oil-paint plugins... I watched the youtube video and it showed them there when he was doing a tutorial, but when I went to look all I found of his was paper textures.
Also, I went to his "Dr. Brown" web site and I found them there, and I downloaed them to my mac, but the installer does not install them.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI will test Photoshop CS 6 in my Windows x64 System. First I´ve got a Matrox P690 graphic card, but it won´t run with OpenGL 2.0. So I bought a new MATROX M9120 Plus x1 card in hope it will work fine with Photoshop. But the GPU OpenGL with rotation tool or other things won´t work, because the card seems to be not verified by Photoshop CS6. The drivers are the newest WDDM certified Matrox drivers from December 2012.

I am thinking about buying an M9125 card from the new range of Matrox M series cards.
I have tried without success to find a review of this series and of the card I am interested in particular. Nor can I find any mention of it or its performance in a user forum anywhere. My display is a NEC2690 (26") running at a resolution of 1920x1200. I don't game and just want a new card for PS and Corel Painter work. I have CS3 and will probably move to CS4 idc.
So I got the new visual studio 2012 ultimate but cannot find the Autocad plugin template when making new projects even when switching to .NET 4.0..I do have the latest ObjectARX and the API Wizard and the plugin works find on VS 2010 too.

The thing is I find the mouse a real pain to use when it comes to using pen or lasso tools, etc. I recently wondered about buying some kind of Wacom style pad and pen, as I think that might be a more intuitive input method, but am not sure how suitable they would be for an amateur like me.
Any thoughts on decent models for this type of user (I can't justify a fortune for this), how easy are they to learn to use, etc.

View 4 Replies View RelatedPaths flatness device pixels -if no value is placed in box is it then defaulted to .2 pixels. The STD for our situation requires placing 1 pixel for the flatness.
These are 300 dpi images & as I understand for the web only. I do not understand why 1 pixel is so important as it must be placed in the field manually for every image.
What would be the difference if no # or 1 pixel is placed in the area - for both web & print.
I am using photoshop cs4 and was just wandering if this version still has the ability to preview a still image of what you are working on via firewire output? I know you could in other versions but I do not see it anywhere under the file/export menu. I have a device conected and it works fine with Premiere and After effects but I do not see it show up in Photoshop. Anything I need to setup to make this work?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter I upgraded to Windows 8.1, PSE 11 no longer finds my IOGEAR GFR209 card reader with an SDHC card in it when I try to import pictures - with Windows 8 I had no problems. I get the message "Device Not Found" in Photo Downloader when I go: Organizer > File > Get Photos and Videos > From Camera or Card Reader. I tried doing a "Refresh List" but it made no difference.
I can though, see the reader, SDHC card and all its image files in Windows File Explorer, so my PC is recognizing the device. I also tried re-insalling PSE 11 and then updating it by going Help > Updates ... but it made no difference.
I'm wondering if I can use "File > Export > Send video to preview device" to play an open timeline document on a separate monitor, while at the same time working on the document on my computer.
For example, I want to do an animation demonstration. I want to be able to work on the animation on my computer (adding new frames/video layers, and drawing on them), and have a preview of the whole video play continuously on a separate monitor, without me having to stop and and switch back and forth between working and previewing.
I'm using Photoshop CS6 on a Macbook Pro, OSX v10.6.8
I installed photoshop and it worked fine but after restarting my computer it wont open and gives me the "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item" The only way i have got on photoshop since is on safe mode or by completely reinstalling photoshop until i restart my computer again. Is there anything wrong, I don't know if AVG is blocking something or what.
View 47 Replies View RelatedI have custom profiles (created in ProfileMaker 5.0.10) for 9 Canon iPF5100/6100/8300 printers installed on my Mac OS X 10.6.8 MacPro. All worked fine using CS5 and CS5.5. They are Printer(X)-(Paper Type).After installing CS6 the Photoshop print dialogue Profile list doesn't show these profiles any more.
I've confirmed that the profiles are there and are working fine by running the CS5.5 versions of PS but they won't show up in the CS6 PS Print Profile menu. They also appear and work in the CS6 PS Soft Proofing dialogue.A question similar to this appeared in the PS CS6 beta forum, but was never answered.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIn trying to get to grips with the Color management aspects of PSE11, I have encountered the following problems: Having selected "Display" a sequence of clicks (Change display settings -> Advanced settings -> Colour Management -> Colour Management tab -> Colour Management) gives a screen which includes the headings:Device Profile and Viewing Conditions Profile.
1. Device Profile. Besides sRGB and ARGB, the profile list includes the profiles for all of the Epson papers.I changed the Profile to an Epson Grayscale, this was accepted within the menu, but there are no changes from normal when I viewed the image on the Windows screen or within PSE11. ("normal" is sRGB or ARGB). I thought it worth a try to test that, if I wanted the display image to closely represent what I would get on a particular Epson paper, this may be a way to do it.So what is the purpose of all of the paper Profiles appearing in the Display listing?
2. The Viewing Conditions Profile has also several options. I have tried to find the criteria for choosing one rather than the other, but failed to find any information. I seek general guidance rather than the details of the Profiles.
Selecting Image on the PSE11 menu across the top of the displayed image, and then Convert Colour Profile, I tried this process on an image, converting tiff to sRGB. When saved there was an extra asterisk in the saved title but in this case, the file was still labelled tiff and there was no change in the number of Mbs. If a conversion has taken place, how is one to know? Does saving a tiff file as jpeg change its colour profile? When is it useful to use this feature?
I just bought Photoshop Elements 11 recently and I'm trying to import photos and videos from my phone, Samsung Galaxy SIII, but having a little trouble.
When I go to "Import from Camera or Card Reader" option and choose my phone from the "Get photos from" drop down menu in "Source" section the "Photo downloaded" finds every single photo and/or video stored on the device and it's memory card but I'm trying to import only photos and/or videos I've shot my self with the phone, witch is kept in an folder named DCIM, but I simply can't figure out how to so my question is: How do I import photos and/or videos from my Android device?
I'm trying to transfer my photos from phone to computer. phone is hooked up to computer. Photoshop says no device found (for source). What do I do????

Please ensure that the devices is connected properly, or that the battery is charged. The files that have been obtained till now will be sent to Elements Organizer."
