View 1 Replies View RelatedI own a GoPro Hero 3 Black camera. I saw the Russell Brown demonstration of Camera RAW to correct lens distortion (
[URL].......
In this instruction, he takes images into Camera RAW and selects a tab called Profile, and it automatically detected the camera from metadata and made corrections.
I was sold, subscribed to Adobe Cloud, downloaded Photoshop and started following his tutorial. When I got to the lens correction part, my Camera RAW has no Profiles tab. Brown does say that you need the latest version, but I have assumed that since I just subscribed and downloaded, that I have that.
Can the Adobe Pixel Bender Plug-In for Photoshop CS5 be used in Photoshop CS6? And, more specifically can it be used with Windows 7 operating system?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the latest Camera Raw plugin, but I do not remember where it resides in CS2.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to install a plug-in from PSKiss to Photoshop CS5 (version 12.0.4). I'm using Adobe Extension Manager CS5.5, and I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop.
Although I'm following up with PSKiss to see if there's a problem at this end, I also see an issue with Adobe Extension Manager. When I open it, the Install button is grayed-out. I can see neither of the plug-ins I've already installed in Photoshop, nor can I install anything new. I am running Adobe Extension Manager as Administrator.
Also, yes, I'm using my laptop with an Administrator account.
When can we expect to see a plugin for photoshop, to support camera raw for the canon 1Dc. We are in a disparate need ASAP
View 9 Replies View RelatedUsing Macbook Pro with CS5 Photoshop and Lightroom 5. Importing photo from LR to PS was told to update PS Camera Raw plugin to 8.2 .
Used download for Raw/DNG 8.2 and went through the steps to download successful. When I check the plugin status on PS it is still on ver. 6.7.1.399.
Unable to open my RAW files in Photoshop CS4 on my Mac from a new Nikon D600 camera, I went about trying to find a plugin to update my 5.7 version. I downloaded the new 7.4 update, went through the setup then went to open the plugin in Photoshop but when I tried to do so Photoshop told me that it did not support that kind of file.
I may be going about this completely the wrong way, but I've tried my best to find a solution on line but no luck. When I try to do update through Photoshop it tells me that there are no updates available.
Is there any way to upgrade the above mentioned plug in?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI checked exchange in PS CC and could not find either the russell brown watercolor or oil-paint plugins... I watched the youtube video and it showed them there when he was doing a tutorial, but when I went to look all I found of his was paper textures.
Also, I went to his "Dr. Brown" web site and I found them there, and I downloaed them to my mac, but the installer does not install them.
When I download and try to install Camera RAW 4.6 on my Mac (OSX 10.7.5, Safari browser) I get the following message"Could not complete your request because photoshop does not recognize this type of file."
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have talked with Apple. These files can be brought in to iphoto and then exported. This is not what I want to do. I want to open in Camera Raw. Is there a workaround with a converter for CS5.5? I see there is Camera Raw 8.1 available. From what I have read, it is only for CS6 or CC - forcing me to upgrade? Then, according to some posts, the Camera Raw update 8.1 is buggy and does not work as well as previous versions.
I really don't want to re-install, uninstall, flush cache, look for fixes, etc, etc. Is there a converter or plugin that works with CS5.5?
I'm familiar with how to install a camera raw plugin for photoshop. However, I've had a difficult time finding the correct download link for the Nikon d3100 for ps cs4.

View 1 Replies View RelatedPlease read the whole post, but if you want to cut to the chase, my question is: for ACR conversions would I be better off with an (Windows) 8-core system and 6gigs of ram, or a 4-core system and 12 gigs of ram? I am a professional photographer who, after upgrading to some equipment that spits out serious file sizes, needs to upgrade his computer system. I shoot almost exclusively RAW and I rely primarily on Adobe Camera Raw to convert my files and open them in photoshop. While photoshop performance is a consideration, my biggest concern is to be able to open ACR images ridiculously quick. Right now, working off 21 megapixel images on my current system, it takes between 10 - 20 seconds to open/convert a single file into photoshop. I'm aiming for a couple of seconds. My current system (please don't laugh ... I know its bad):XP 32-Bitdual-core 2.00GHz3G DDR2 Ram (with 3G switch enabled)5400 rpm Hard DrivesRunning CS4 and ACR 5.3 Future Set Up Considerations:Vista 64-BitProcessor/RAMa) quad-core-Q9600 3.00 GHz with 8 gigs DDR2 (1150MHz)b) i7-920 2.66 GHz with 12 gigs of DDR3 (1600 MHz) - adds about $500 to price - worth it? c) 2 Xeon-quad-core-5530 2.40 GHz with 6gigs DDR3 (1600Mhz) - adds about $1000 to price - worth it?d) something AMD?!?!Hard Drives (7200rpm)2 for images storage (one as an internal backup)1 For operating system, applications, music, etc1 For scratch disk Basically, the question comes down to whether extra cores or extra ram will ultimately make the biggest difference in the ACR performance During my testing on my (sad) currently system, here are my conclusions (let me know what you think):Changing the 3G switch to allow the jump from 2 to 3 gigs of ram usage for applications makes no difference in performanceWhen I am opening up ACR files both cores show 100% usage (will that continue over 4 or 8 cores?)Photoshop in general seems to be more CPU limited in my case than ram limited (most of the time is says 100% efficiency but things still take bloody long From some more experienced users, or users who have quad or octa core system or systems with insane amount of ram, I woudl really appreciate your feedback!

And, if I don't have it.. The download manager does nothing say about the Extended version (trial of it), and at the Adobe website I can't find a way to download it.
