I know that I can use the Adobe DNG Convertor 7.3 to convert them to DNG outside of PSE8 then work with the DNG images in PSE8. if possible, to work directly with the NEF images as a plugin. URL..
Q1 - Based on the above am I therefore correct that it is not currently possible to use Nikon D5200 NEF images directly in any currently available PSE?
Q2 - Whether its likely in the next version of PSE? Or would I have to save up for the full Photoshop program to do what I want?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using inventor 2013 and creating the drawing for a part or assy. and saving it to autocad 2000. after i open the saven .dwg fine in autocad 2000 of customised .dwg viewer (EDMS internal customised vault kind of software), i see some of the features of annotations and even mechanical features added has question mark (as the images attached).
Thing is what i am doing is and we have a BOB.shx file for the font. (which inventor is not supporting) and we could not bring this inside inventor. Inventor supports only .ttf font types.
So how way possible we can use inventor drawing inside autocad 2000 by save a copy as option. or you have any patch type support.We are loosing lot of time in this as a productivity loss.
i have trial of ps6 & could not open raw files from nikon d600 - note came on screen saying: "could not complete command because the file appears to be from camera model which is not supported by the installled version of camera raw". i know it does because i tried on friend's trial version and wanted to try myself!

When I upload them to my webserver, they lose saturation. Unfortunatly I can't attach a pic here only link from my site. I don't know if I'm saving the pics the wrong way? I have both Photoshop CS5.1 and Photoshop 6 and have upgraded to latest versions of Adobe Camera Raw and DNG converter. However, my NEF files still will not convert/open. The product descriptions for ACR and DNG converter says it should support the D4 files. I have clients to send pics to asap and this issue is costing my money.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis discussion is actually a follow on to an earlier one where I thought the issue was resolved. I am using CS5 extended 64 bit with WIN 7 64bit and ACR version 6.7.
I verified the ACR version checking for updates and was informed I am up to date. According to the ADOBE site ACR v 6.7 is available to open Nikon D800e raw files. However when I try and open these raw files there is a message that the camera model is not supported.
I have photoshop cs5 and can´t use camera raw (6.5) for nikon d800e.
