I've tried to figure out the pattern of how the command works for inputting partial customization menu toolbar names but I'm unsuccessful.
You should be able to show and hide partial customization menu toolbars with the -toolbar command because it can hide all toolbars including my partial customization menu toolbars currently shown. I've tried the toolbar menu alias (defined in the CUI command) and the name (refer to this link to the same image embedded below) and none work.
I'm having a display bug with the menu toolbar icons in Photoshop CS4 Extended. The icons don't show when mouse hovers over them and they don't show at all for the drop down menus. Can this be fixed?
I'm on WinXP, Athlon 64 4000+, 3GB ram, GeForce 6800 GT video card [driver 181.20]. I'm not sure if this is a video driver bug or CS4 bug.
My left hand menu is missing?? How do I get it back? Ive tried pressing tab and F but still nothing.

I already add in the Quick Access Toolbar the "Layer Combo Control" and the "Ribbon Combo Box - Linetypes"
I would like to add also "Ribbon Combo Box - Object Color" BUT it seems impossible...
I copy it from Panels - Home - Properties and put it into Quick access Toolbar, but it never shows up and worse when I go back to CUI it has dissappeared...
The only things that works is the "color" function.
my toolbar that contain menu, insert etc is missing. what should i do?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been having problems using my layer toolbar dropdown menu. My drop down bar will show the current layer or the current layer and the layer of a selected object. I need to open the Layer Properties Manager in order to turn on/off or freeze/thaw other layers. It seems to happen the most when I have external references loaded into the drawing.
Also, the Layer Properties Manager has a few quirks. If I create a new layer, it will not record changes to the layer color, linetype, etc on the first try. I can make these changes, but when I close the Layer Properties box, all of the changes are lost. I need to reopen the Layer Properties Manager and make the changes again.
The Layer Properties Manager also seems to have a glitch where it will deselect from the manager back to the drawing without a mouse click. Also, when I click once on an external reference layer to select, it tells me I cannot modify this layer. I would assume this would pop up if it were a double click action for modification, but it does this after a single click.
It seems that there are some major glitches with the Layer Properties Manager.
I have installed AutoCAD 2013 student on my Laptop (Win7 32Bit) and want to work now.
But I have the problem that my Menubar always freezes / becomes instabil.
-> When I open ACAD, the menu bar is by default on "Home", when I click on the tab "Insert", the tools of "insert" aren't visible, there are still the tools from "Home" shown (Line, Polyline, Circle etc.)
But when I click on these wrong shown tools, the tools of "Insert" become active. (Only the 'surface' doesn't react)
Well, I see always the Home-tools. All the other tools aren't displayed to me, but they work (if u know where they are, you can guess and click and hope you hit the right one )
I have a company .cuix menu that is loaded as a partial menu to the main acad.cuix file. I want to delete all the toolbars and pull down menus associated with it and leave the other stuff in place. This is in Autocad 2011 but should also translate to 2013. So far, I have tried opening the CUI menu, going to the company.cuix partial menu and deleting the toolbars. Then I hit save, then Apply. Toolbars disappear and pulldown menus go away. But when I reload AutoCAD they come back.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have set may MENUBAR system variable value to 1, But whenever i exit from autocad 2013 this value changes automatically back to 0 and the pulldown menu disappears.
Also i have attached the screenshots of autocad after manually changing menubar varable with pulldown menu vissible and after exiting and starting autocad again to see the screen without pulldown menu and variable changed to 0 again.
I cannot get the menubar variable to stick. everytime I start autocad I have to re-enter the command to have the menubar back. I am sure this is something stupid I am over looking.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe installed Civil 3D onto my supervisor's computer, and I can't find the menus. It's like they completely vanished. I set menu bar to 1, and the only menu I get is the Express menu. I don't get any of the other menus (file, alignments, profiles, grading, etc.).
View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed Express tools when I installed 2010. when I type the "menubar" command the only thing that shows up is" Express". how do is get the rest of the drop down menus to show up?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI would like to turn off the express tool visiblity in the menu bar. I have turned them off in the CUI. (in all workspaces, I have removed the aecmain.lsp witch i see loads into the toolbar, I have unloaded the partial cui and reloaded). If I set the workspace to one which it is turn off it goes away. Problem is that when I open again "its back". Is there another place that I don't know about that controls?
I "do" want to load the express tools. I don't want them to show in the menubar nor the ribbon. I want to allow command line or custom menu macro to call. I was able to do this in 2010.
A co-worker scanned a photo and emailed it to me to edit it and try to improve it, but everything I want to do is grayed out so I can't select it and I can't figure out why. Maybe it has to do with how she scanned it?
It's CMYK, 300 dpi, and 8 bit.
I'd like to sharpen it and adjust the hue/saturation, but they're grayed out.
why this is happening and how I can work around this so I can make the changes I need to make?
When selecting a sub menu from within a main drop down menu the arrow points to the right but the actual sub menu pops up on the left in most cases. I have only noticed this recently and wonder if I have inadvertently messed up a setting as in the past I cant recall this being so but I don't use the editor a lot so may be mistaken.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to 2012 but forgot to install the express tools, Doh!. I installed them through control panel repair and everything works. Except when I close and restart ACAD the menu bar express menu disappears. I can bring it back by using cuiload but this is not ideal. Any way to get it to stick?

How do I add custom menu items to the main menu in Illustrator?
I would like to build my own menu with scripts that I use alot. This is a powerful feature that I use alot in other programs, but I have not seen any examples of this in illustrator.
all the twirly triangle dropdown menu things (what's the official term?) underneath the contents menu of layers. Especially now that I'm working with Convert to Shape Layer functionality I'm wondering what an efficient/shortcut based way to work with these inner menus is. For instance when converting Text to Shape layers - it seems like I'm spending most of my time dealing with twirly triangle management
I don't even know how to search for them: obviously searching for anything "collapse" takes one to a bunch of collapse transformations stuff.
Using VS X5 - Just making up a menu for my dvd im burning. Haven made a menu since using ..VS11+ I think it was.
All seems very very familar...similar etc and not asking it to do anything out of the ordinary which 11+ couldnt cope with ( just nowadays using all this AVCHD malaky etc )
Question -Main menu of my dvd - Why am I getting on my main menu page the begininings of my movie!!! I have my main menu setup ( bringing in a pre-made 30second clip on which I will put 'Press Play to watch movie' and/or 'chapter select'. ) When i preview my main menu page...I see the 30second clip i wanted but as it runs so too does my actual movie - at the same time.
I cant seem to find a button to ..basically..tell it not to play the movie as soon as you load the dvd but instead to wait until the 30 second main menu runs and automatically reruns etc until YOU decide to press the 'Play movie' button.
I intended to add more option at right click shortcut menu. Is it possible to be done?

AIMenuSuite *sAIMenu;
mBasic->AcquireSuite(kAIMenuSuite,kAIMenuVersion, (const void**)&sAIMenu);
SPPluginRef plugin;

But i have nothing as output.
The tool bar in my CS5 extended doesn't appear (all of a sudden) and I definitely need it!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI really like using Photoshop, but every once and a while I get this problem when I'm using Photoshop 7.0:
On the toolbar to the left-hand side (default), when I left-click a tool, the menu option for the other buttons (ex. Paint Bucket and Gradient) pops up. The strangest part is that it sometimes does this, and sometimes doesn't; I have never done anything to turn it off or on.
I would really like to turn this off, because it is incredibly distracting when I am switching through a lot of tools on a project!
