I'm touching up some images I want to export to Premiere Pro 2.0 and wanted to make sure I'm using the write/best settings. I selected the 720x480 pre-set when making a new project. It has the following settings; 720x48072 pixels/inch (should I go larger?)RGB (should I use CMYK?)8 bit (should I use 16 bit?) Are the default settings best? I want to use the largest/best image quality possible. I'm using the CS2 suite btw.
I can see that the render video options are vastly different in OS X and Windows versions of PS CS6. Not only they are different layed out but as far as I can see a wide range of codecs are missing on the OS X version. Â In particular, how can I export a video file using QuickTime container and H.264 codec in OS X version? If You select H.264 video it creates an .mp4 file whereas I wnat a .mov file. Same codec but different container.
I'm trying to add lossless CODECs (e.g., FFV1, Lagarith) to Photoshop (and Premiere and After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder) so that I can generate archival videos with the highest possible lossless compression ratios. I've installed several CODECs, but none of them appear in Photoshop's 'Export Video' options, for example. How do I get these CODECs to appear?  For the record, I'm using CS5.
Is it me or am I really seeing that X5 has LESS video encoding options vs X4? Really? I remember having lots of choices and options as far as how to encode MP4 the size (or ratio, etc 720 vs 1080p)
I can't seem to get 1080p but I can get 720p but in X4 I recall I could do 1080p for MP4 though.
I have recently upgraded from VideoStudio 12 to Pro X4, and have noticed that I don't have all of the Video Save Options (specifically Media type and Audio format) that I have with 12.
I produce video for playback by a regional local access provider, and their requirements are mpeg-2 video with mpeg layer 2 audio. Both of these are options that are available in 12 but not X4. I understand that NTSC DVD video is mpeg-2, but I'm still at a loss with the audio format.
Here is a screenshot of the video/audio format I need to be able to produce:
The options window will not display when typing "options" in the command line or selecting from the drop down. The options menu has to be hidden somewhere because AutoCad will not allow any other commands after typing options until I hit escape. I have tried restarting CAD and rebooting my computer with not luck.
Video will not play properly [audio plays well video hangs ] in Adobe Photoshop CS6 running on a Win7-64 machine equipment with a quad-core processor. Video plays properly in Lightroom 4 and Bridge CS6.
I recently purchased Video Studio Pro X3 - and after going through the knowledge base and product read me, I have been unable to find an answer to the following problem I have:
PROBLEM:
I have a number of videos (HD 1080p) that I have recorded. Each video is on average 50 minutes in length - what I want to do it to be able to do is to slice this video into 10 x 5 minute videos (based on topics discussed in the video), (so essentially clip the video into these segments and edit each one) and then when producing the video file - actually create 10 separate video files (all with editing in place) instead of one single large file.
As far as I have been able to work out, I need to go through the whole file, clip relevant sections, edit them, and then save project. I then need to go trim the saved file 10 times, to extract each time the single 5 minute video I want to create. This is a fairly manual and time consuming process, hence my hope that I can create 10 files based on the clips I have made in the larger 50 minute file in one go.
as I have 30 videos to edit, so looking for ways to save time!
I am trying to "erase" extra video and show only 1 of the moving objects in the video .on an athletic field we are trying to show only the movements of 1 player...is it possible to "delete all of the other players movements and just show one player and then overlay that video on the empty field?
when I upload a video to You Tube, I get a warning message that my video and audio are out of synch. Once uploaded, the video plays just fine, looks great. But I don't know why I get the warning when I upload. Video clip and audio track are the same length.
I have a LIVE show recorded and I want to add Video Filters in various places within a single 4 minute video. Do I need to cut up my video to segments to add filters too or can I apply them to different spots in a single video?
Is it possible to import a digital video sequence into photoshop and convert it into individual frames, so that each frame can be manipulated individually (drawn into, coloured etc) and then reform the individual frames into a video file for export toAfter Effects, Premier Pro or Avid?
I am using Photoshop cs6 on my Mac and I'm having trouble with the options bar in the way. When I open two or more windows within Photoshop the options bar is covering up the X's that allows me to close them out and the tabs themselves. I have attached an image to show the problem. I have tried to move the option bar, but it seems that Photoshop wont allow me to do this.
None of the 3d functions in photoshop CS6 are available to use. All menus are "greyed out."
Could the problem be the system requirements? My system - MacOS 10.7.5 Processor 2.4 Ghz Intel Core Duo 2 4 GB 667 Ram Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB
I have always saved my jpg files at quality at maximum, 12, prgressive scan 5. about a week ago I noticed that my jpg files are becoming pixleated after I save them, so much so that it looks as tho I have saved them in Paint Shop.
When I select Edit > Preferences > Performance the following is displayed: GPU SettingsNo GPU options available with Photoshop Standard Graphic Hardware Acceleration is unavailable. You will need to upgrade your video driver and possibly your video card. Spec: Windows XP64, Dual Xeon 3.6 Ghz, nVidia Quadro fx 4400 (512MB) with latest driver 182.46 Video BIOS 5.40.02.38.10.
I have started a new video project with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 in Photoshop CS6with a pixel aspect ratio set to square.. In the project I add a video to the timeline. The source video was created in QuickTime and exported at a 1920 x 1080 resolution MOV file. I have check both the source clip at the canvas siye and have confirmed that both are 1920 x 1080. However, when I import the video it takes up less than the entire frame. It appears that the video is being scaled down so that there is some white space to the right and below the video clip. See the image below.  In the past I have been able to import 1920x1080 video to a 1920x1080 project without a problem.  I have 4 or 5 examples that have worked well.Â
i have a font that shows up in my text edit files--which suggests it's on my Mac. but it doesnt show up in photoshop font options. how do i get it in there?
In CS5, the options bar stayed above my toolbar and pallettes, so that my second monitor was free of all tools. Just the image. Â But with CS6, it seems the options bar has been moved to the top of my image monitor. Â Is there a way to force the options bar back above the tools on my other monitor?!
The title says it all really: I've been trying recently to use the 3D features in CS6 (not a usual part of my workflow, which is probably why it has taken me so long to notice)
but all options are grayed out, regardless of the document settings, layer options etc. I simply cannot work in 3D at all! I am working on a Mac Pro (mid 2010) with 13 Gb of ram, so system resources are not the issue.
I keep seeing posts and videos referring to the Airbrush option in the Brush settings panel. My CS6 doesn't have this option. It goes Wet Edges to Build-Up to Smoothing to Protected Texture at the bottom of the list. Is this a glitch? Should I be seeing the Airbrush option here? Â Also, I'm having a little trouble with the brushes I'm using. I was able to trace out my drawing with a simple brush but when I went to shade it it doesn't look very good. I was following along with this tutorial
[URL].........
and at 6:40 in the video he starts filling in the hair and mine looks completely weird. I realize he isn't using Photoshop but I was wondering if there is a way to duplicate the brush that he is using.Â
I color separated an image in to 3 spot colors (Pantones) using Channels. But when I go to save the image as a DSC all the regular file options are missing. I only see Photoshop, Photoshop Raw, and Large Document formats available. Â See the attached screen shot showing relevant dialogs and menus. Using Photoshop CC on Mac.
Having just successfully installed Photoshop CS4 for Windows (XP-SP3), I was arranging my worksapce. When I tried to move the options bar from the top of the screen and dock it at the bottom (as I have always done in CS3) I find that I cannot. Has the ability to dock the options bar at the bottom of the screen been removed..? If not, how does one accomplish this..?
i wanted to make a new brush so i went to the "Brush palette" but all i see there is what U can C in the picture below, where is the "spacing" and the "hardness" and all the other option that the help file shows that should be there?
I'm not so good with PS yet . Well I saw in many tutorials how to smudge. And for that you need to set some brush options. They do this by pressing a button in the upper right corner. I use PS 5.0 and this doesn't has this. Here's a screenshot. Anyone knows where the brush / smudge options are ?
When applying blending options like lets say a drop shadow, if i apply it to a layer and modify lets say the direction of the shadow it applies it to every layer with a drop shadow...same with bevels. Is there any way to prevent this?
in order to blend my image into my black background web page. When using the crop tool to drag it only makes a portrait type square not a landscape type one (unlike the "rectangular marque tool" which does as i want. Secondly all the options are greyed out in "layers"
I want to stroke a bezier curve with the Pen tool. The color of the stroke I can manage all right, but I am totally unable to find out how I edit the line type and its width in Pen tool. In the leftmost submenu showing the pen tool, there are several preset options (for the pen tool and other tools), but none of which I need. What I want, is simply a 1 pixel wide pen which draws whole lines, not dashed or dotted. And I would also like to have some feathering and/or antialiasing options in the stroke.
