I have a new system with a new MB and CPU. The CPU is 3.20 gigahertz AMD Phenom II X4 955 and the Bridge version is Bridge 3.0.0.464 After a few minutes with about 150 images, Bridge will crash. I have 3GB of RAM, XP Pro (SP3).  The video setup is; ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series [Display adapter] ACR Acer X243W [Monitor]-24.0"
View 1 RepliesI've been having problems with Illustrator on my system. I have Illustrator as part of Creative Suite 2 Premium. It seems that when I have Illustrator open, and try to perform other functions on my computer (i.e. moving files from one location to another, opening another program, etc.) the system crashes and restarts itself. This doesn't happen every time just semi-frequently. Has anyone had a similar problem or know of a solution that might help? I have all the current updates for all of CS2.
View 1 Replies View RelatedA major part of my workflow on CS2 involved cutting and pasting files, renaming files and deleting files in Bridge.
Now with my new installation of CS4 everytime I try to move anything Bridge will quit! I'm also having problems after deleting NEF files in ACR when returming to Bridge as they do not remove theirselves every time. Navigating out a folder then back in sometimes works, other times it causes a crash.
Any advice? I can't even revert back to CS2 as my Nikon D3 files don't work on it!
In CS6, when using mini-bridge in PS, Bridge is working in the system tray ... this is not the case with CC. How can I send Bridge CC to the system tray on windows OS?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is bad. I upgraded to Mountain Lion and by large I am very happy with it. No problems with Photoshop CS5 (can't afford to upgrade just yet) and Illustrator CS4, all working as expected. BUT... Bridge has completely refused to work and I am panicking as I have to use this virtually on a daily basis.

It will open, but the moment you try to use it, it just crashes. All updates as far as I know are installed and I am desperate. Currently have work sitting and waiting to be done and I am becalmed.
I rate my images with 1 star. Then I select and open them in ACR and edit.  After I click "done" some of the files are no longer rated. I have to go looking the unlabeled files for the missing images. Then when I try to restar them--it won't let me give it a 1 star. I can give it another rating, and then after that it will let me rate it at a 1 star. This only occured when I switched to CS6 from CS3.

In my former installations (5.0 and 5.1) everything was ok ...
After opening Bridge CS6 (and using mini Bridge), there are no thumbnails showing. I've pointed Bridge to just one folder with less than 5 photos in it and it cannot even display them. I'm running a recent Mac Pro with 16GB RAM and kick graphics card.

I have given up hope on getting cs4 to work on my old computer (multiprocessor server board) but what about cs3? My system seems to meet the minimum requirements but I had no luck running cs4 and cs3 is not functioning properly. Can someone take a look at these specs and tell me if this system should run cs3? I know it is an old system but I have not had any problems with it since it was new and do not plan on getting rid of it any time soon.

This didn't always happen and the only recent change to my system was downloading/installing Adobe Reader 8 (update). To the best of my knowledge, prior to this update the all the Lasso Tools worked fine.
I searched the help section and the only information I found related to my problem was to set Adobe's 'Post Script" printer as default. I tried that and it did not help. Please note, prior to this problem, my Canon was set as my default printer and every thing worked fine then.
Should I uninstall Adobe Reader?

'Minimum' requirement is for a Pentium 4 procesor, which I do not have, though I meet all other requirements. Does any one foresee problem with running Lightroom with this processor.
