Isn't it supposed to be located here?: Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS3Plug-InsExtensionsBigger Tiles folder
I am on XP with both CS2 and CS3 installed. I can't find any info on this....been searching forever.
I did a search for "Bigger Tiles" in Extensions and found a folder explaining the plug-in, but no plug-in for it.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a plugin that allows me to DRAW tiles. Not to generate tiles from an existing picture. This rules out plugins like those : [URL]
Such plugins usually work this way: When you draw, what you're drawing is automatically repeated X pixels away and Y pixels away from your cursor (you're drawing in several places at the same time, like you had several mice moving exactly the same way).
how I would lay out my photos to be printed onto tiles.
For instance, printing a photo, to be printed onto 9 4" square tiles, to be placed together as one large tile mural on wall or as backsplash, that would be 12" x 12".
How would I go about 'cutting' the photo in 4" squares and pulling them apart, to get the look I want?
I just upgraded to CS 4,
When using the following filters in Photoshop CS6 all updated installed:
Â
Adaptive Wide Angle
Lens Correction
Â
I get the following error:
Â
No more virtual tiles can be allocated.

I have 8 GB of RAM and 100 GB free on my only partition and a GeForce 880 FX graphics card.
For this test I am using a small 2 MB 1000x500 px jpeg image. But I tried with a lot of different images.
Â
I already deleted the Photoshop settings and played around with the performance settings.
I'm sure I've seen how to do this somewhere, not sure if it's photoshop or flash. I want to split a picture into multiple small jpeg tiles so that I can have one thumbnail picture and a higher res one used to zoom.
Anyone know what this is called, the package used to achieve it or where I should start?
I'm sure this an easy one and I've overlooked something, but I can't seem to get the solution for this problem. I have a bitmap image of a map and I would like to split this image up into many tiles which can be saved off as seperate images. if possible I would also like to be able to specify the size and resolution of these tiles.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've read threads on drawing a tile or something of a certain size, then using the offset filter, but what I'm wondering is - is there anyway to draw within a certain bounding box for the tile, and have that same tile updated and drawn realtime next to the tile you're currently drawing? My project is a 2D platformer game, and say we have a block of grass that's 128x64. I need the left and right borders of this tile to blend so that I can place multiple tiles of this kind next to each other and they'll loop nicely, but it's extremely difficult to draw a tile, and then copy and paste it next to the tile every single time I make any change to the original tile to test and see if it'll blend seamlessly as it loops.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSometimes when UV unwrapping, the map, for some reason ends up as individual tiles, even though the mesh is a single object. How can I fix that? Every single polygon has thick, green lines - like seams. When generating normal maps, it simply comes back as 'squares' of nothing, but laid out accordingly to the UV layout, so it's useless and holds no detail what-so-ever.
There are no inverted faces or overlapping faces, so that is not it. I can't weld every single vertex - there are thousands of them, of course, so it's rather baffling. The vertices, though, are connected, so that too is not the problem.
If I save a 300 dpi image in PS CS3 as a JPEG it's about 3.5 megs. As a TIFF it's 29 megs. As a PDF print quality it's 11.5 megs. But if I go to InDesign CS3 open a document and import the 3.5 JPEG and then save it as a print quality PDF, the file is about 4 megs. Why is it 11.5 megs in PS with the same settings?
View 16 Replies View RelatedI have access to OS tiles that I need to put on to a drawing and I copy and paste the tile into modelspace then add my blocks and all looks good, then close the file switch off computer.
Next day come into work switch on computer load 2012LT, open file and the drawings have gone except for the outline of the tile with the path name of that file (Like a broken Hyperlink)...
Do I have to somehow import the file in to the drawing to stop this from happening somehow?
I've got a model with uv tiles that I painted on, all good so far, exported out the maps.
now I need to move some of the uv tiles and my question is, how do I reassign the textures in Mudbox so that they appear in the new position of the corresponding tile? Is this possible?

I created a pattern tile swatch, and am certain that the edges are perfectly matched. However, when I fill an object with the pattern, on the monitor there appear to be vertical seams. If I zoom in very large, the seams go away, and they do not print. Is this just an artifact of the monitor or should I be concerned that the seams will appear if the illustration is posted to a web page?

I am trying to generate A4 tiles of a large banner (13m x 3m).
In the layout mode, I can't seem to get the image size to be set at 100%. If I manually set the image size to 100% and click on apply, this drops back to 38%. 38% is the highest it seems accept.
Is this a limitation with CorelDraw? Is there a way around this?
I am currently drawing some roof tiles for a house in 3d. I moved the tiles to another drawing so i could get my machine to focus on the tiles rather than walls, windows, doors etc. My machine is still lagging hectically. Basically i would like to know is there a way i can perhaps make the roof tiles file smaller or a "block" of it so that my machine can run properly and i can import it into the drawing with the rest of the house. The roof tiles drawing is 40.3mb big. My machine isn't inadequate-hopefully.
I am on a mac running vmware fusion with windows 7 32-bit and when opening editing the roof tiles file my cpu % spikes to roughly 70% then backs quickly down to 50% and will not increase with Autocad not responding-leave it for a bit and it loads but lags a bit when i orbit, copy or whateva then back to not responding.
If I have a pair of uv tiles in u1v1 and u2v1, How can I import an image for both multiple uv tiles?
Now when I select "import layer", the image only show in the position of u1v1, but not show on both area.
