When attach image (tif) with no path. is saved, de image will be saved without a path. dir. Only when we change the image (with RasterCAD) when we now save the drawing the hole path dir. will be saved.
When we used AutoCAD 2006 this will not be the case. The tiff. will stay no path. We move/copy drawing with image to other dir. very often.
-Originel
... dwg/tif
-To-Built
... dwg/tif
-As-Built
.... dwg/tif
Problem is that the image will be saved in the wrong dir.

a few things involving cameras. My assignment was to use our plane that we modeled with poly's and animate it on a motion path(used cv curve tool) and have a camera above it follow it. Now I got that down perfect.
But what I don't have a clue on, is how do I attach a camera on the same motion path as the plane and have a camera angle right behind the spinning propeller? Like a cockpit view.

When I create a shape with one of the shape tools, it masks it or whatever you call it when a path. And where ever I move the shape, the path goes. But when I just make a path and fill that path, the path isn't attached. So how do I "attach" the path to the layer, so when I want to resize the shape, it wont lose quality.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying about 8 hours to convert a Photoshop shape in to a working path in order to put a brush border around it. I don't understand why the "stroke path with brush" is grayed out and not usable directly on the shape path itself.
"Load path from selection" is not an option because it deforms my path.
I want to be able to transpose the perspective of the existing image to my new 3D prism shape. Why can't I create a path.. and then drag nodes on that path.. and warp the pixels at the same time???
It shouldn't apply to just 3d.. because I should be able to draw a rigid path around anything and warp / stretch the image from those points.
I am now using the styles panel to setup reusable styles. What I would like to know is if it is then possible to create multiple elements (say buttons on several screens) apply the style to them, then simply edit my style definition and have all buttons update automatically?
Or do I actually need to manually select each button and apply the new style?

I'm wasting time having to place my image in Illustrator then manually line up the clipping path. You used to be able to save a file with a clipping path as an EPS in photoshop, select "retain vector data", place in illustrator and hit cmd Y to see the clipping path. I need the image and the clipping path in Illustrator and the image is too complex to create a mask in Illustrator. I tried to save it as an EPS but "retain vector data" is grayed out.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a couple of lines I've drawn on a image map that I am working on. The lines are perfectly straight but of course my hands lost being that study years ago so I can't paint a straight line with the brushes on top of the drawn line to keep it straight. Is there any auto way to make a line turn into a paint brush style line or action, effect or script that will accomplish this task?
Maybe the best way to work it is to get a paint brush to follow a preset path. I know how to set paths in other software and make an png or obj follow that path but still trying to learn that in adobe.
If it's possible to attach File Info such as Copyright to a (final) .png image? I could have sworn that I've done it before but just now it didn't work.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have some negative space I created(black area, see first image) that I want to fill with type, not just a simple fill.
Basically I want to create the negative space from a bunch of small minus signs(-) that need to line up as they go across. If I type on each path one at a time as the text doesn't line up that way. This needs to be one continuous path. (see second image)
Unfortunately if I add them together, it creates a compound path, which you cannot type on, unless I am mistaken? So I need them to be a path, not a compound object.
In illustrator, is there a way to reduce anchors points in a segment path without altering the path?
Is there a better and more efficient way to reduce anchors points than using the pen-minus tool?
