I am designing a baseball uniform using paint.net. The player's name on the back of the jersey is not centered. I need to somehow move the name and only the name to the right. I know nothing about paint and the move tools don't do anything except shade the entire drawing.
View 12 RepliesA user in Flash gets a picture, prepared with the inside of the box blank. The user selects a jpg color picture and fills the box. This is done by creating a point zone. (1) a way for flash to be texturized or painted.
No 1 is the box after is filled by the user. That is now.
No2 is the image, if I make the background blank as well as the inside.
No3 Is the image I need (nothing around it)
No 4 Is the background
No 5 Is if I use picture No1 (as I am doing now)
No6 Is if I use picture No2 (blanking the surrounding area as well the inside of the box)
No 7 Is I what I want.
Question: How do I convert No1 without the area around to look like and be like No3 as a symbol ? By converting the image to a symbol or an Icon, then how can this be accomplished?
1. Is there a plugin available to export files as pdf?
2. How to make a section of a pic transparent. I've spent a couple of hours on this now, and I've searched the documentation section, and I've searched the forums. Most specifically, how do I set a transparent color for a gif? But how do I make an AREA of ANY file transparent? One thing I tried to do was use the "Wet Floor Reflection" plugin, and it requires a transparent area below the existing image. I couldn't do that, either.
I like the new(ish) feature where you can drag a section plane through a component, but is it possible to program a moving section and record it to an avi file? Is this something I can do in 3ds, Studio or Showcase? IV2013
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a section view base map that has labeling at the grade breaks of a corridor section. (see correct labels image)
I made a minor change to the alignment the corridor is using and when I opened my section base, most of the section view labels were messed up. (see messed up labels image)
Some views were missing labels and in others, they were grouped together in a lump.
The settings I am using are in the third image. If I checked either the start or end offset box, then unchecked it and closed the dialog, the labels would fix themselves.For reference, there are about 300 section views in this base drawing.

I'd like to batch crop all while moving the cropped section with each file. This is for time lapse, so it will consist of about 500 files. I'm hoping it will give the effect of panning. I can do this in vegas but I have to zoom and pan AFTER the file is made. The zoom reduces the quality bad. My thinking is that if I can do this with picture files prior to making the video, the quality will be much better.
View 3 Replies View Relatedmy issue is I have created a style for cross sections that work well in one drawing, and need to copy them to our template. I have been able to copy the styles for the section view, section plot, and some section labels that I needed. However, I cannot find out how to copy over the style that labels my corridor section in the cross section view. When I go to look at what type of object style it is, all I get is a "Obect Style" dialog box. I have been trying to open every setting to find it and have had no luck. I have attached three screen shots. The first is what I want the cross-section to look like, the second is what it currently looks like in the template, and the third is the dialog box I am getting.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am inquiring about some photo editing (web design). I have a banner on my web build with multiple pictures with a transition between each photo. Now each photo is lets say 1200 x 320 pixels. Isn't there a way to take a large photo, say from my digital camera (Nikon D3100) and have a 1200 x 320 pixel box I can move around over my large picture and then make a selection (via mouse click or enter) so I can use the picture in that specific banner.
I thought I watched someone show me that at one point, and they did it so flawlessly. What I am really looking for is the simplest way to take a section out of a large picture and have it be a certain pixel height and width.... by the easiest means possible without loosing any quality.
I want to use the ellipse to cut out a section of a picture. Then I want to save the ellipse so that only the ellipse is shown. Instead, I am getting a rectangle with the ellipse in it. After that, I would like to put a border around the ellipse.

I am trying to sample a picture of a moving river and add Layer effects to it. I am having trouble with Cloning Tool, have never used Slicer Tool, and really lost to be honest.
Basically I'd like to draw a river and add samples of a real picture of a river, like rocks from the river, etc.
Using CS4 PS extend.
I am editing old pictures. To save time I am scanning four pictures at a time. I'm using the marquee tool to crop each picture into their own layer via right click method and choosing "Layer via copy." After I'm done doing this for all four pictures, I have to hide all but one layer, trim the project to the picture size, save it. Then I undo the trim, and start over for the next picture to save.
Is there any easier way to save each cropped section as their own picture/project at the size of their crop without effecting the other pictures? Was wondering if there was a way to crop the portions I want out but instead of copy to layer method, I could just create a new project with that cropped picture?
I want to select part of an image with just one layer. Say I just flattened the image and have to move one part of. I select it with the rectangular select tool. It seems intuitive that I could then just move what I selected, but when I drag the selection, the selection itself moves without moving what is inside the selection.
If I then remember to click the move tool and try to move what's in the selection (seems to work sometimes, maybe when there's multiple layers?) the entire image moves.
The only way I can move part of the image over is if I make a selection and then cut it (ctrl X) then paste it.
How am I supposed to move part of the flattened image, is there a way I can set it to default to "When I select something, I can immediately drag that selected area around."
In ps7 editor I can have 2 pictures cascaded and using the marquee tool and the move tool insert a section of one picture into the other. I cannot do this in ps11, what am I doing wrong?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI want to use CreateDIBSection to create a DIB section of >2GB, and I prefer to use GDI functions, not GDI+ or .Net.
I know I can not accomplish this task on 32-bit Windows, so I tried on 64-bit version. Then I found that I can create several 2GB DIB sections but can not create one which is over 2GB, even if a few bigger than 2GB is impossible (such as 2.1GB). The test platform is 64-bit Windows 7 with 8GB physical memory.
It seems that there's a 2GB limitaion, is that true? Does GDI object still have this 2GB limitation on 64-bit OS?
But I can allocate one memory block much more than 2GB on the same system using malloc or some functions like that.

Every time I select a part of the image and try to move it, it becomes a floating selection and then I have to go to the menu and defloat.
Is there a way in X6 to move parts of image without the float, defloat process ?
I am trying to trace a logo wich has a series of circles, I have copied the logo as a new layer and created the layer I am working with enough transparency to be able to copy.

1) I open up a large image as background.
2) I add a new layer, then import a smaller image into that layer.
3) I try to select and move the smaller image so that it's positioned where I want it, but despite seeing the "nodes" on the side and corners and trying every possible combination of blue arrow/white arrow/shift etc., all I seem to be able to move across the canvas is the transparent box created by the nodes. In other words, I'm moving the box that contains the image, but apparently not the image itself.
Might this have anything to do with one image being a .pdn and the other being a .png?
how do get the effect of water moving? eg a flower floating on moving water.
