I need to do an art project for school, and I want to make the Windows logo, but I suck. So I wanted to use a picture of it and change it to look like it was drawn by hand.

2. How to make a section of a pic transparent. I've spent a couple of hours on this now, and I've searched the documentation section, and I've searched the forums. Most specifically, how do I set a transparent color for a gif? But how do I make an AREA of ANY file transparent? One thing I tried to do was use the "Wet Floor Reflection" plugin, and it requires a transparent area below the existing image. I couldn't do that, either.
I made a drawing by hand, now I want to use it in a laser machine... I need hairlines (in dutch haarlijnen) 0,5 thick and sharp? How do i transform this picture into a sharp document?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI'm a Model Railroader, as the screen name implies. "RRArtist" RailRoad Artist. Anyway, I have a MoPar garage, planned, I have this 3D model, built, I'm merely working on a sign, that is based off I think the 1950's.....This sign, will depict my interests in MoPar, a "Hemi", and the classy girls used back in the day, as part of the sign, AND will be lighted......SO, in 1/87th to the foot scale (Pretty small) its nearly impossible to get a "Hemi" motor, and be able to see that it is a Hemi! SO, my plan, is to take a 1:25th scale Hemi motor, and mount it to a sign pole, that's a pipe, to carry wires for lighting. Then UNDER this sign, will be a girl, that looks as tho, she is holding up a sign that says "Hemi" in the old "MoPar" signage.....UNDER her will be this Hemi Motor.....BUT the lighting is the fun part as the "lamp shades. will be CHROMED Hemi Valve Covers.....With the motor itself, painted orange, with black valve covers.....
Now this girl on the sign, is the issue.............. The girl is actually a blonde.....(don't ask LOL) I need to change her hair color... to red! Problem is? The clothing shes wearing, a short skirt, or short shorts, that are also...........RED.... so, it leaves way to much "red" for the sign......Looks good as is, don't get me wrong, BUT, if I can replace her blonde hair with red hair, to match the "looks" of the image, to be "believable" is GREAT, BUT I want to remove the red from her clothing, and make it Hemi Orange.......... trimmed in black with the silverish looks it already has, blended into the red as you will see...
This whole project is going on a display I'm adding to my layout for looks for when I run trains and to show my other interest.......... old MoPar muscle cars that were Hemi with a garage to repair them, from back in the day......Trying to make all the colors fall into place is my issue!
Wondering if there is a plugin that will match a color that is in picture. For example if I was trying to touch up a part of the sky it would pick out the blue I needed.

The object of the picture is on the right and that is where I would like to keep it. What I would like to do is extend the width, to the left, to 960 and fill in that new space with the background color in the picture. Then add the title of my website on the left. I have disabilities and drawing in Xara is very difficult. Is it possible to add a live effect to a picture without having to draw over it using the program? View 3 Replies View RelatedI copied pictures from hard drive to external hard drive and did a format on that hard drive.When I try to open pics it says that JPG marker is missing and some of them can't open at all. The ones I can open, they look distorted (shredded).
I tried several repairing programs but without success. Pics are valuable to me - half of life collected. And huge number of them.
Extension of images is not changed, file size is still normal, even (on opening folder) thumbnail show image as it should be for short period of time, but when image is fully loaded, thumbnail also shows distorted image.
I was wondering if there's any way to manipulate text to look like it was written in real life by a marker or a sharpie - both in writing and in color that will fit the lighting in the image.

I have seen brush strokes, but they only really provide a texture rather than a variation in the line as far as I have seen.
I am new to AutoCAD and I want to draw something in it, I have taken screen shot of a google map and placed it in AutoCAD, Now I want this map to be scaled proper size, for example I have 880meter x 330meters but placed object is only 20' x 15'.
How can I resize it or how can I make my drawn line to be exact 880meters ? ( I will resize my picture according to my drawn line).
When I set my pencil brush tool to 1px, to make some pixel art, it is not 1 pixel, it adds an extra pixel to the left. I dont know why this happens, but im the height IS 1 pixel, but the width adds an extra pixel to the left or right (mainly left). even when i position it ExACTLY in the center of the grid, which is set to 1px by 1px, it STILL adds an extra pixel

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm often creating pixelart pics with transparent background using Pencil.. if as a secondary color would be an eraser (left click = drawing, right click = erasing). Is there such thing possible?
I can set some color and using Magic Wand (0 % tolerance) remove it or switching between pencil and eraser by keyboard, but - you know :) it's not so fast 'n' convenient. I tried to search for it here, but I guess I don't have correct keywords..
How do I switch off the latest tool after using it? I used the pencil then can't cancel the thing.
