So, i'm making Metallica bootleg covers for MetCoverart.com but I cant figure out how to align the text like f.eg in Word. When you get the text perfectly aligned per line.
I've tried using the normally appropiate button, but that does nothing. And I've tried the Align Object plugin without any good results.
I have been putting together some inserts for a sales presentation folder in Illustrator CS6. I am having trouble trying to figure out possibly how to make my text align as presentable as possible. If you view the image you can see that my text on the right is not aligned with each other line consistently.
Left: 'vertical align bottomed text with the box of black stroke Right: manually moved text with smart guide to align with its base line.(what I want to achieve)
As you can see in the left one, text has its base line under itself, and its bounding box doesn't match its base line. when I use align, it doesn't align using its base line but its bounding box.How can I make text align using their base line easily?
Way back when I originally bought PSP X3, I used it for a short while then went back to X2. Mostly because the X3 text tool would not remember text I had used. Now I've recovered from a hard-drive death and want to move forward and use my X3.
When you centrally allign text horizontally and vertically in a text box, the text sits slightly high of the centre. Is there any way of setting an action or setting to deal with this rather than adjusting by eye every time?
How do I make the transparent text box used for legends on this map, together white the white line and white square that points to the exact spot in Paint.NET?

And that text just like in the bottom left corner (Microsoft)? I need some text effect?
How to make a fire text and didnt see what i wanted.I tried to follow a certain ones instructions numerous times and for some reason its not turning out the way its explained. How i can make it look like this picture?.............
Is there a way to make 3D transparent Text? So that it would look as if Transparent 3D Text characters were embedded in a solid surface? Imagine a transparent 3D letter pushed into 2D surface. This would wrap the surface around the letter, kind of like a river around a rock.
I have a picture of text (non-latin characters) that is multicolored. Most of the text is black but certain words/letters are purple, red, blue, etc. and I want to get rid of them. The black and white tool works but the previously colored text is now a shade of gray instead of being pure black. I also played with the contrast and brightness but it the text bleeds and becomes unreadable. The background is also pure white.
How to make Shiny gold text. I've tried the hot wax coating 3x color set to light yellow however it looks nothing like gold. Are there settings to hot wax coating or is there another way to make metallic gold or shiny silver.
i have a few scans of documents which are 20-30 years old. Some text on this documents is written on a typewriter. Now im trying to make this text to be more clear in relation to the background.
I tried to to this using Curves and Levels. The text is getting darker as i want it, but also the background changes which is what i dont want, because if i do this on a rectangular selection it is visible. Curves is quite ok, but it still changes the background to much in my opinion. Is there a way only to make the text more black without changing the background much? You can view the original text and my tries here i full resolution here:
I want to write text then make it curve up/down etc.. without using a object. But by using my mouse.
Is this possible?
I remember I was able to do this in PSP 9 but that was a long time ago. I would be able to do it with my mouse. I get the box now after I apply text to Move, Rotate, resize, but no curve. I remember in the past dragging my mouse pointer to the center of the box and getting a option where I can move the text to curve it up or down. That is what I would like to do again.
is there any possibility in GIMP to align a text not vertically at the bottom of a text box (there are options for left, right, center and fill but that's only the horizontal alignment). The motivation is, that I change a text in an image quite often and it whould "align itself" if it whould always be aligned at the bottom of the textbox.
The Inset Spacing settings within the Area Type Options drop-down are just too cumbersome. Is there an easier way to center text within a text box like we can do in InDesign? Why they left this out of Illustrator CS6.
I notice that in every magazine each line of an article has exactly the same length as the the others despite the fact that there is a different number of words in each line. Moreover, spaces between words change from line to line, according to the amount of words in each one, and as a result every single line has the same length as the ones above and beneath it.In GIMP, when you use textedit (ie this ) you cant do what i mentioned above. Every line ends up in different lenght as each word that does not "fit in the box" goes to the line beneath it thus making a text look kinda ugly.
My question is, is there a way to align all the lines in order to make them have the same length? (just like a magazine would look)
I am creating a banner for a website. The banner is say 400 pixels wide by 60 pixels high. I drag the horizontal type tool so that it covers the entire rectangular shape exactly. I can center the text horizontally by selecting Window-->Paragraph and then selecting the center button. However I can't seem to center the text vertically in the banner using some Photoshop option. Once the text is typed then I can move it to what I think is vertically centered but it may not be exact.
The reason I am looking for exactness is I have to create several banners that are the same dimension but the text within will be different. Some of the banners will be one line and others will be two lines. I would prefer to vertically center them exactly.
I have problems with Photopaint Align and distribute. Many times I want to fast select 2 objects and align them and dont want to search them in hundred object list on object docker.
The problem is how to align center white text in blue box? I dont want to move blue box just center text in it. And do not use objects docker to do it.

System configuration: Win 7 Pro 64bit, Intel i5-2500, 8 GB RAM, 128 SSD SAMSUNG + 2TB on hard drives.
When dealing with vector, it is just to click in image with "pick tool" to appear a tool bar where object align/distribution is available.
But when dealing with raster, this tool isn't available. The only way I found is through "menu=> objects=>align". To raster images, is there similar vector tool bar to access direct object align/distribution?
