View 3 RepliesI am having trouble getting the erase tool to erase part of an elipse shape in Corel Draw. I select the erase tool and click and drag across the part of an elipse that I want to get rid of (so far so good), then I release the mouse and an outline of the nib tool is left behind.

Any variable name that controls this functionality?
I am unable to get my erase brush to work. I click on the "Erase" option, the "-" brush comes up, I run it over the masker area and nothing is erased. I try the other option of holding the ALT key while brushing to erase, the "-" comes up, but nothing is erased as I run over the masked area.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIn Development module in LR4.4, viewing a Fuji X100s raw file (converted on import to DNG) I tick the box for "Enable Profile Corrections" under "Lens Corrections," and select "Auto" from the "Setup" menu. I would have thought that LR would pick up the X100s profile, but no, nothing happens. If I choose "Fujifilm" from the "Make" dropdown, I can find the X100 (not X100s) profile manually. The profile's probably pretty similar, but still, I'm wondering why my install of 4.4 doesn't have the X100s profile in place?
While I'm at it, I'll ask this too -- I recently bought the new Nikkor 35mm 1.8G ED (the new full frame 35mm Nikon lens, not the trusty 35mm 1.8DX) and there's no profile for that lens in my LR4.4 either.
Finally, I note that when I choose "Check for Updates" from the "Help" menu in LR, I'm told there are no updates available.
I'm using win 7 with LR 4.1 RC 2, but this issue goes back to LR 3.6 (my first) for me.
I don't get a clean erase of an adjustment brush overlay by passing over it with the brush in "erase" mode. Even after 5-10 passes some small isolated spots continue to show the red overlay marker. Clicking the brush repeatedly while centered right over a stubborn red spot does not remove it.
I paint with a mouse, and typically use a feathered brush. The flow and density are always set to 100.
This is more of a nuisance than problem, since the remaing areas are very small, and I haven't noticed problems in the final image. Still, it should not work that way. I never see this when erasing in Photoshop.
I just bought the Tamron SP 90 2.8 DI MACRO USD and LR lens profiles only lists this lens for Canon (F004E) and Nikon (F004N). There is no profile for Sony (F004S) ! Any drawback if I use F004E or N ? Or better use a the profile of the older Model of that lens where there is a Sony profile ?
View 7 Replies View RelatedDownloaded the BLURB color profile and installed to the system. Restarted LR and it did not appear in the other list for color profiles. I checked and found the profile in c:/Windows/System32/spool/drivers/color. I tried coping the file to c:/ProgramFile(x86)/CommonFiles/Adobe/Color/Profiles/Recommended. Restarted LR and still no BRURB icc shows up in the list. I also noticed there were other profiles in these directories which do not show up in the list. What am I doing wrong? Is there another menu which controls the "other..." list?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhy do my images look much darker and contrasty in LR(4.3) then they do on PS(CS6) where they have far more tonal range? I'm looking at them side by side on the same screen. I know it has to do with ICC profiles but I can't find how you set that in LR. An example can be viewed here: URL....
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm using Lightroom 4.4 on a five-year-old iMac. I haven't been able to upgrade to LR 5 because it requires an operating system upgrade, but the technicians at the Apple Store say my machine is too old for the upgrade. I just bought a new Sony 18-105 lens which requires siginificant software lens correction. It has been included in the latest ACR in LR 5, but not LR 4. Is there any way I can locate and load the lens profile for just this one lens in my LR4? I've looked and there is no profile in the Adobe Porfile Downloader I can use.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI use Lightroom 3.6. The "lens profile corrections" does not have my lens in the drop-down menu. Is there a way other than using the Adobe Lens Profile Creator Tool to create this profile? The lens is the Nikon AF-S DX NIkkor 18-105mm F3.5-5.6 G ED VR, and I use the Nikon D90 dslr. I only shoot JPEGs.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy problem is that when I export JPG's from Lightroom (100% / sRGB / sharpen for screen) the picture seems to lack contrast and the colors look less saturated (Looks like this everywhere, including Windows Preview, Firefox, Photoshop..). If I select Soft Proofing and sRGB, the colors look correct.
Also if I take a screen capture and save it as JPG, the colors look similar to my preview in Lightroom. I have tried to export in sRGB, Adobe RGB and ProPhoto RGB color profiles but none of them looks the same as LR preview.
My camera is a Fujifilm X20. This profile is normally included in LR 5.3. But if I want to select it, it's only possible to select model Fujifilm FinePix X100 and profile Adobe (Fujifilm FinePix X100). How can I change this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAt work, on a Windows 7 laptop, I used the Adobe Lens Profile Creator utility to make an LCP file for a Nikon 1 6.7-13mm zoom lens. After submitting that LCP file to adobe via email, I copied it to my Dropbox. At home, on my Mac OS X 10.8.5, I copied the LCP file from the Dropbox to:
LibraryApplication SupportAdobeCamera RawLens Profiles1.0
Then I launched LR 5.3, navigated to a raw (NEF) image shot with this lens, and attempted to apply the lens correction in the Develop pane. Although the Library correctly shows the meta data for the lens and camera, the Lens Correction section in Develop does not even list that lenses LCP file in the drop down menu. Instead, LR attempts to apply a different lens profile which does not match the focal length of the zoom. I'm wondering if the LCP file that I created will only work on a Windows PC since that is where it was created?
I have Lightroom 5. I can see lens profiles for JPG files but they don't appear for DNG files.
