Lightroom :: Camera Profile For Canon G1X?
Apr 19, 2013It's too bad that a profile has not been added to Lightroom 4 by Adobe for the Canon G1X, a great camera that's been out for awhile.
Can it be put into Lightroom 5 at least?

Is there a profile for Canon lenses 8-15 mm and Canon 800mm ? Where can it be found ?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought the Tamron SP 90 2.8 DI MACRO USD and LR lens profiles only lists this lens for Canon (F004E) and Nikon (F004N). There is no profile for Sony (F004S) ! Any drawback if I use F004E or N ? Or better use a the profile of the older Model of that lens where there is a Sony profile ?

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is a Canon kit combination and it seems odd that it's not included in the Canon profile for lens correction. The EF-S 10-22 IS USM is there which is not a kit lens and quite expensive. Am I missing a step or do I have to download additional lenses from Adobe?
View 2 Replies View Relatedmy main reason for upgrading to LR 3 was the lens profile correction abilities but for some reason LR 3.3 is not listing my Canon 15-85 IS USM lens. I use LR 3.3 at work and the lens is listed but on my Macbook Pro it's missing.
I don't want to start creating a profile as I am not sure I have the technical capabilties or knowledge. Where can I find a profile for this lens?
I seem to remember that there used to be a lens profile for the Canon 500mm f/4 lens in my older versions of Lightroom 3, but now when I use LR3.6, I see "none" listed when looking for a profile for this lens in the Develop module. Is this a change in 3.6 or am I mistaken? This probably is not a big deal because I don't remember seeing much change when turning on the profile correction before for this lens, but I am beginning to wonder if I was imagining something.... If the profile was dropped from the latest version, are there any independent profiles for this lens? Can you remind me how to load a user developed profile?

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhy does Lightroom 5 show "embedded" as an option for camera profile for .dng files created by my pentax k-30? I thought that "embedded" profiles did not apply to .dng files?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've just purchased a Pentax K-5 but when I import .DNG files from this camera into LR 3.6 there is only Adobe Standard and Embedded as options in Camera Calibration. View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm shooting with a Nikon D3s and always had the problem that the imported photos went a few stops darker when they were imported in Lightroom. So how can change this setting for the rest of my already imported stock and how can make this the default setting for my future photo imports?
I would like to be able to see camera profile in Loupe Info. This would support me choose between versions of a photo that have different profiles applied.
I have not been able to find any indication that this is possible in LR 4. I am still using LR 3.6.
Beyond that, it would be nice to be able to select any information to see in Loupe Info and not be restricted to the fixed list of items currently available.
Can I load a specific camera/lens profile into LR and if so how?

I have dug through the MAC Library and Application Support folder and found CameraRaw. That folder contains my listed cameras. But when I am in Lightroom, I do not see that profile in the Camera Calibration section.
Is there a way to force Lightroom to display my camera profile? Lightroom 2 used to display it.
