View 1 RepliesThe Canon 6D is not in the current list of supported cameras for tethering in Lightroom. When will Lightroom 4 support tethering for Canon EOS 6D?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI can't finda list of cameras that are supported in LR5. There is a list for LR4but not LR5. In particular I have three cameras that all work withtethering but I don't have any working software to use thisfacility.
Canon G10
Leica DIgilux 2
Both these cameras came with tethering software that was subsequently dissabled in software updates (Not firmware updates)
I also have the EOS-M and for reasons I don'y understand Canon won't let EOS utility operate the camera even though this functionality exists within the camera because CaptureOnesupports EOS-tethering.
Will Lightroom allow tethering with Canon T3i and Canon T4i ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am not able to use the tethering with my Canon 5D Mk3, the camera reads busy and I am not able to use any functions on the camera s wel, changing modes, speed, ISO etc.Ihave the newest version of the Canon solution installed and it works there, but not in LR4.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have tried everything to tether my original Canon 5D not the mark series. I love the camera and want to dedicate it to a project. I have to tether so I can see on screen, rename files etc. I connect it and 2 times it recognized the Canon5D, could shoot though. Ive tried everything trashing the preffs, etc. I am on Mac using 10.7.5. Ive even tried to use the Canon Utility to connect, the same problem. Ive seen some posts saying LR4.4 doesnt support the Canon5D anymore.
I would rather put the camera to use rather then buy another to dedicate to this ongoing shoot.
I'm trying to get working tethering mode in LR4 with my Canon 7D and I have "No Camera Detected" in control panel of tethering capture and BUSY indicator is ON on my camera. It works just fine using EOS Utility: I can do shots, change camera settings and so on but I really want this feature inside of LR because of variety of features of LR.
System info from LR is:
Lightroom version: 4.3 [865747]
Operating system: (Build 9200)
Version: 6.2 [9200]
Application architecture: x64
System architecture: x64
[Code]....
My Camera is not detected using LR4.0 and LR4.1 on my laptop.chatted with Adobe online and did all he/she asked with no luck. Also have done all on the trouble shooting stuff on the Tethering support page. The camera will tether on my desk top computer but not on my Laptop..
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is incredibly frustrating to have a $2,000+ camera that cannot connect to Lightroom. It really impacts the value of both Lightroom and my camera if they don't talk to each other.
View 12 Replies View RelatedEvery time i try to tether, a box pops up saying lightroom could not tether and try restarting or disconnecting. This happens every time. Ive restarted and disconnected multiple times. All the software is up to date. It was working for a while but then just stopped.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running LR 4.2 attempting to shoot in tethered mode to my Nikon D300. The laptop is a Lenovo W510 running windows 7 pro x64 with Intel i7 processor with all microsoft and lenovo updates installed.
When I plug in the camera via the USB port and start LR, the tethered mode shows 'No Camera Detected". If I unplug the cable from my laptop and plug it into my Dell Desktop running the same version of windows and the same version of LR, it recognized the camera and will shoot tethered mode just fine. However, the real need is to shoot tethered to my laptop.
I have been through the idiot troubleshoot list on Adobe's website and tried every combination of restarting known to man. I know the camera is in the right USB mode since it works just fine when plugged into my desktop. So, I can eliminate any problem with Nikon, USB cables, LR versions/camera compatibility. The only variable is the Lenovo vs. Dell and possible USB driver issues. Windows does recognize the camera when it is plugged into the laptop, but LR doesn't see it.
I have LR 4 and now I have bought a Canon 70D. Lightroom said it was unable to interpret the RAW files and directed me to get an update. I have updated to 4.4 and still have the same problem. How can I get my RAW files into Lightroom 4?

View 6 Replies View RelatedDoes LR 3.6 support the new Canon 5D Mark III camera? LR4 should. I don't care if the camera metadata is in LR or not. I just want to process the Mark III images in LR3.6. Can't upgrade to LR 4 because it is only 64 bit.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded and installed LR 4.3 update to my Mac running OS X 10.8.2. I have no problem importing the RAWs from my Canon 6D by plugging in the SD card into the SD card slot in my MacBook Pro.However it appears that when I try to start tethered capture in LR, my camera keeps saying that it's "BUSY" and won't work at all.I was just wondering does this mean that tethered capture for Canon 6D is not supported in LR 4.3?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI don't see a profile for this camera. I thought it was added but the last profile I see is for the S100.
View 19 Replies View RelatedIt's too bad that a profile has not been added to Lightroom 4 by Adobe for the Canon G1X, a great camera that's been out for awhile.
Can it be put into Lightroom 5 at least?
They're suppose to be the same as EOS-1D X files and LR and CR opens these files fine.

View 2 Replies View RelatedTrying to get my Canon 5D Mark II to tether. It is on the "good" list. But all I can get is "Camera Not Detected". Computer sees it ok. But LR seems to be oblivious.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI own Lightroom but prefer Bridge/Camera Raw for small projects. Would love to see an update to support Canon 5D Mark III in Camera Raw!
View 37 Replies View RelatedIs this Canon's or Adobe's fault? Either way it is a pain in the arse! As much as I like Lr, I hate going to Lr 4.1RC for small jobs!
View 15 Replies View RelatedJust got my new Canon SX50HS camera. Looks like PSE 11 raw does'nt support it. How long does it normaly take after a camera is available to the public for Adobe to include it in its list? Where do I have to ask Adobe about that situation ?
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen, oh when, will I be able to access lens profiles for Canon 5D mark 3 in CS6. there is an update due soon (and not interested in making my own for a mainstream camera!!)
View 5 Replies View Relatedknow if X4 will or does support the RAW files of the Canon 5d Mark3? It's a new camera, and DPP (Canon's own software) is having difficulty processing RAW (Image Softness) from the mk3.
View 2 Replies View RelatedX4 SP2 is supposed to add RAW support for the Canon S100 and Panasonic FZ150 cameras (I own both.) However, after installing SP2 neither of these RAW file formats can be edited. I tried dumping the Temp folder, but no joy. I tried calling Tech. Support and all I get is "Tech Support is not Available at this time." In the middle of the work day?! The About popup says I'm running Ver. 14.2.0.1. I'm not sure the update has taken.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have installed Photoshop CC and updated the Camera RAW plug-in to version 8.1. I am still not able to view RAW files from my Nikon D7100. According to the Camera Raw page on the Adobe website, I should be able to open the files.
