How do I embed an Airtight AutoViewer web gallery into my own homepage? I have the viewer-file, gallery-file, swfobject-file and the index-file ready but I dont know how to embed the gallery into my own homepage - with my own banners, other text etc.
View 1 RepliesI have an existing website and I would like to embed a Lightroom gallery into that website. I am not sure how to get it on my web page since the code from the gallery puts out an index.html page. The program has everything I want but only if I can put into existing web pages.
I can upload the page and get it to run on its own but that is not what I want. I want it embedded into my existing website.
I'm using the Flash - Gallery 1 that came with Photoshop CS2. Is there a (hopefully easy) way to get the gallery to automatically play the slideshow when a user visits the page (instead of clicking the play button)?

How can I update the saved gallery? If you change module and double click again on the saved gallery icon, the changes are lost.

Yes, I'm probably the only person on the planet that wants this, but I liked how the Auto Tone auto adjusted the Exposure slider (ONLY!) and left all the other sliders at zero in the Lightroom 4 beta.
Is there a way to write a preset that returns that behavior?

I have followed a couple of tutorials and everything seems to be working in Photoshop, but when I upload the image to wordpress, the map does not display properly, as you can see. There are white squares where I have tried to put the links as though that part of the image has been cut out.
When I select embed medium JPEG, the preview image is corrupted (folded over itself parallel to the long edge) when I view the preview in other programs like irfanview.

I previously used Elements and liked the ability to create a "photo mail." The photos would be embedded (in line) in the email rather than as attached files.
It appears this is not possible with Lightroom. I have version 4.
Costco print services use Dry Creek Photo profiles. They ask that files be converted to color profiles in PS and say that embedded profiles will be ignored by their digital printers. I wonder if I can do this in LR4.2 without going to PS CS6.
In Lightroom 4.2, we can choose color profiles in the print module or in the export dialog. Do you know whether specifying a color profile in these will result in a converting or embedding of those files?
Keywords I assign to photos in Lightroom do not show up as "tags" when I view the photo's properties in Windows Live Photo Gallery. Is it possible to embed keywords assigned in Lightroom to the properties of the photo file?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using Lightroom 3 on a 17' Samsung Syncmaster 920NW on two different desktops. The hardware configuration for each machine is also identical, with only a few minor exceptions. However, the images on one machine display drastically differently in Lightroom, as opposed to any other Windows application. I've updated the video drivers for both computers, reinstalled the monitor drivers for both, and have uninstalled/reinstalled Lightroom on both with no success in remedying the discrepancy.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI process my images to taste in LR4 and then export them as jpgs in the sRGB color space. When I open them in programs like "Windows Picture Viewer" they look just like they do in LR but when I upload it to my website or view it in a program like IrfanView the images look terribly over-saturated. I should also mention that it seems like I need to add quite a bit more saturation than normal to get them looking right in LR. I'm guessing that there is some setting that I have wrong.

View 8 Replies View RelatedFor years I have been using Bridge and ACR for my raw workflow. I use only DNG files and have the database turned off so the EXIF data is embedded right into the original DNG file. This means my files are 100% portable without and sidecar.
Can I work with lightroom 4 without having a database? OR can I assure that each DNG file has all it's setting automatically embedded as it does in Bridge?
Does adding keywords in Lightroom embed to the photo file, so if it is uploaded to another program or website like flickr, the keywords will show up?

This was the panel that gave me the ability to check the "Show Mask Overlay" and set the Mask Pins to different display options (Auto, Hide, Show, etc.). I can't figure out how to get it back. Toggling all of the panels does not work.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI would like to embed long text strings to image metadata, in order to copy and paste memories written and related to these images. As an example, I'm keeping a sailing logbook and I would like to add the daily entries to pictures but I have run into problems when sharing images elsewhere. The string length exceeds the metadata standard lengths.
Which standard metadata fields allow longest text strings that I could use for my logbook entries without the fear of losing them when exporting or sharing them elsewhere?
After exporting a processed image from lightroom to jpg (sRGB) the image color looks different in the imageviewer.
The first obvious question would be: am I using a calibrated screen?
I do my regular calibration profile with x-rite i1Display2. This profile is set to default for the Win7.
The image viewer is IrfanView with color management enabled, and the same profile set.
The image in IrfanView is more colourful. So the precisely set colours in Lightroom now shows slight over saturation in the viewer.
Is there a method to move gallery tabs so that Page & Layer Gallery tab is first in line (at the top) of docked gallery tabs at the right of the screen? I can move gallery tabs, but cannot make Page & Layer gallery tab move to the top.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a great time using the Web Photo Galleries in Photoshop CS and CS2, especially since I'm fairly deft with HTML and a total Flash dunce, so the Web Photo Gallery Flash 1 and Flash 2 templates have served me well and allowed me to make fun Flash stuff without having to learn. But, with learn-by-doing, there often comes a point of confusion, and I think I've found mine.
I noticed that (when using the gallery "Flash 1"), if I click the little ? in the bottom right, the file name will come on and stay on throughout all the pictures. This is exactly what I want since that's where I do all my captioning and it really adds something for me to be able to see that. My question: how in the world do I get it to do this by default? I'm always telling friends/family, "oh, click the little ? in the bottom right and it'll show the captions," but am certain there must be some way to do this by default.
I fiddled in the galleryconfig.xml file, but there's only this line

Is there any function in the program that will let me embed the correct (AdobeRGB) profile to the photos, preferably without re-compressing them?

I can open a single file but can't Develop it or do anything with it. I can't even Delete the folder so I can try again.
