May 16, 2009We cannot enter a caption on photos. This worked for us for thousands of photos in the past but now it ignores the text once we've entered the caption. It allows us to enter an appropriate caption but when we click outside the "caption" box it returns to "Click here to add caption."

Feb 25, 2011The message "Enter drawing number" appears at the bottom reading panel when File, Open are selected.  After that the whole screen and commands are unresponsive until "Enter drawing number" message is cancelled.
Rebooted laptop and still the erorr persisted.

I copied the catalogue as well as the images to the MAC harddisk. When I open the catalogue I see the images, but they cannot be found on the disk. So I search on the harddisk for the new path but after finding it I get an error message "Die Datei "xxx.CR2" ist mit einem anderen Foto im Katalog verbunden." In English something like "The file "xxx.CR2" is associated/connected with a different photo in the catalogue."

Jul 23, 2013Adobe Lightroom is amazing. Hear this, when you need to delete one image it pops up a dialog box and asks ou if I want to remove the photo from catalog or delete from HD. When you have multiple images selected, Lightroom cares less to ask you and just deletes them. Here is the flaw. Aparently with lightroom you can create a selection within selected group of photos (thats amazing I know). When you select a particular photo within selected group and you want to delete that one photo, Lightroom just deletes all the selected photos. That means, if you selected all the photos in your catalog, it will delete them without any warning, just like that.Â
Now, why am I ranting about this? Because of this double selection business, sometimes you are not aware that you have multiple photos selected; sometimes you still think you only have one photo selected. So when you think you're deleting only one photo you are deleting multiple photos, and Lightroom does not even warn you or ask you "Are you sure you want to delete 5,000 photos?". This is driving me nuts, I already delete multiple photos from the catalog several times. Yes, you can dig your trash and add them back, but all the editing and adjustments you may have done to your photos, evaporated.Â

I've tried different solution without success:
1 - Using LR Transporter plugin It's not the solution because this plugin change caption in LR. I want to change only during export.
2 - Using rc Exportant pluginI don't manage to change something in the preset. I've got a bad level in english and I don't really understand what to do to make what I want
3 - Doing my own plugin I've tried with lightroom SDK. I manage to do a box in export box to complete some metadata. But I'm not a programmer, only a photographer, and I don't know how to do after.

I know that it's possible to do something like that. I use jf Flickr plugin and ther is a place to do that in this plugin (Metadata Management / Image Title - Description).
I'd like to do exactly the same with piwigo's publish.
Lightroom :: How To Print A Picture And Use Caption From Metadata
Feb 14, 2014I want to print a picture and use the caption from the meta data and the information about shutter speed, focal length and so on. I figured out that there is a way to print this information in the print module, but it is attached directly to the image, which does not look good. Question is there another way? Maybe involving Photoshop? I would like to have the flexibility I have with the slide show designer, where I can put caption to the left side of the image and ISO, shutter speed and so on to the right. Is this possible somehow?
